We were in a challenging situation trying to secure a personal umbrella policy due to having a young driver and a prior at-fault accident, and our previous carrier was canceling our umbrella. I was speaking with a couple of agencies at the same time, and Jeff was by far the most responsive, proactive and resourceful. He clearly put in the effort to find a solution that actually worked for our situation, and he explained everything in a clear and straightforward way. He was able to put together a strong package for auto, home, and umbrella coverage with the right liability limits, and made the process smooth from start to finish. We're really happy and appreciative. I actually found Jeff through a Google search, and I honestly feel lucky that I did. If you're looking for an agent who is efficient, thorough, and looks out for your best interest, I highly recommend Jeff.

A fifth got me a quote but it was from a non-admitted company. When I contacted Jeff he responded right away. Quotes were delivered within a few days. And all questions were answered and/or worked through with confidence and professionalism. And both quotes were reasonably priced and from admitted companies. Jeff knows his business and his markets and after dealing with other brokers, I would definitely recommend him. He is clearly one of the best in the area.

PRco - This is copy of everything done and them not paying for it

PRco

PRco is the worse extended warrantee company I have ever delt with in the 35+ year that I have been…read morein the automotive industry. I must tell you that PRco is the worst!!! PRco employee Mark is an idiot and he has no business working in the automotive industry! Our customers issue was checked and diagnosed within 1 1/2 hours of labor time. There were images of the internal engine failure which was verified via a boroscope (inspection camera) and nothing more needed to be done - It was verified that an engine replacement was necessary. PRco demanded for a complete engine teardown (down to a short block) which entailed removing the engine from the vehicle, disassembling the top of the engine and the front of the engine as well. This was a big waste of unnecessary man hours which PRco refused to pay and there was additional cost that they passed to my customer. PRco sent out their adjuster who confirmed that an engine replacement was required. PRco wanted to supply us with a used engine which I suspect would have been a high mileage engine so I insisted on supplying the engine if I was required to stand behind this engine for 12 months. As you can see from their disclaimer below, they want shops to install cheap parts and they expect the shop to stand behind and give a 12 month warranty on cheap economy parts! Do yourself a favor and stay away from these scumbags! AUL is a extended warranty company that we have used and is a much better company. Most of these extended warranty companies have issues, some, more than others.

I called and left a message to ask a question, their voicemail states they will call back in 30 minutes. Never received a call back. Not once has a phone call been answered after many calls, it just goes to voicemail. I emailed my question and they did respond in 25 minutes, hence my 2nd star. After finding a repair facility they have been impossible to get a response in regards to approving repairs. The shop left a voicemail and an email yesterday at 4pm PST, well before their 5pm end of operation time. The shop left another 2 voicemails this morning and still no reply. After paying $3455 for an Open Road Premium coverage plan, I am apprehensive and frustrated. I hope I am wrong and they are just having an unexpectedly very busy week and that I can update this review to be positive.

Used to be amazing but ever since my first experience back in 2020 I've had to actively reach out…read moreto them to remind them that my renewals were coming up and asking them to shop rates. For my 2023 policies, my homeowners insurance carrier stopped offering policies in CA, and I was forced to switch over to another provider. I made the switch through Stone Creek but they never notified my mortgage lender of my new policy / carrier, so the lender thought I didn't have a policy and charged me for one of theirs. It took 6 months before I noticed and had to work with them to get a refund. My renewals for 2024 are actually coming up in less than 2 weeks and I have yet to receive any updates despite multiple attempted reach outs to my account manager (Robin). Ironically, I've been trying to get in contact with her for over a week (called and left a voicemail, left messages with two different receptionists) and it was only after I posted this review that I received an email from her. I shopped quotes with the same carriers directly, and am getting lower quoted rates, so at this point between the total radio silence and the higher cost of doing business with Stone Creek, I'm uncertain what SCIA's value add is. Ultimately, I ended up switching over to Jeff Wong out of Bencia and ended up saving $600 / year on my homeowners insurance alone with same carrier (Mercury). I swapped my Umbrella policy over as well, but kept my auto insurance as is as the carrier (Oregon Mutual) was still the best option.

I've been with Stone Creek for years and have have many policies through them, including home,…read moreauto, umbrella and business. They used to be great and quickly responded to all my emails. But lately customer service is horrible. Sure, they respond quickly when you say you want to open a new policy for something. But have a question? Need other assistance? Just crickets. I think they had major turnover since the height of the pandemic and nobody seems to be local anymore. When I do talk with anyone, it's always a different person from out of state. Worse of all, when I sold a rental property and requested to cancel the policy, they cancelled the WRONG policy and I went almost 6 months with my home not being insured! I didn't realize it until much later of course because every single time I asked them to confirm my policies, they never responded. It's time to find a new broker. So sad because they used to be fantastic.

I use the term "customer" liberally because she didn't do much but provide an over priced policy them bombard me with email marketing. On a daily basis I had a full inbox from her trying to sell me more insurance and other services. I can only imagine how high pressure she must be with you in her office. She emailed me dozens of times to tell me about the benefits of whole life insurance (oh yeah a product that is known to be a rip off for consumers and a commission gold mine for agents like herself). I hope she is just ignorant to how bad a product is and not just trying to sell high commission products. I asked her THREE times to take me off of her email blasts directly this was after I had used the unsubscribe button several times. She kept on assuring me this was a mistake but it seems the only way to get rid of her daily spam is to get a new policy with another company. If you want no service and to be seen as a revenue stream or just another lead to rip off with bad financial products go ahead pick Dahlia. She is Great!

I wanted to understand what I needed and what wasn't necessary based on my personal situation. She took the time to explain the coverages available and I made the switch. Saved a few pennies too! I really appreciate the patience of explaining everything in detail to make sure I understood what I was paying for. I am very satisfied with my Home, Life and Vehicle coverages. I appreciate the level of customer service and follow up. After claims have been filed or if something comes up I always receive a phone call or email from their local office asking if I'm okay and if my needs were met even though I dealt with the 800 customer service line. Receiving calls like that at the time my car was involved in accident really made me feel good. I'm not just a policy number. They're on top of things there and it can be truly felt. It's awesome when they remember you when you call. Feels like a family business who remembers the regulars. Like "Cheer" where everybody knows your name! Though I have many good things to say about Dahlia and her Allstate team I'll mention one last thing. When I purchase new cars I get really nervous about what's offered by the dealer and what my policy already covers. Before I purchase a new car I call to find out how the purchase will affect my policy. But what I love most about this process is that when I drive my car off the lot it's insured bumper to bumper by Allstate because they make themselves available by email, fax, phone and text messaging even after business hours. I absolutely love, love, love the customer service! Thank you Dahlia and Team!
