Southwest Lawnscape did a great job cleaning up and pruning our front yard last year. The crew was professional, arrived when they said they would, and completed the work efficiently. The owner checked in with me in real time to make sure everything had been done to my standards. The pruning looked excellent, but I noticed a few stubborn leaves had not been fully blown out. After I mentioned it, the owner immediately sent the crew back, and they thoroughly cleaned out the remaining leaves. The pricing was so good, I had them pro-actively replace my rear (yard) irrigation valve. Fast, clean, high quality work! Called on LandTeck to replace my entire irrigation system (5/8" tubing, feeder tubes, sprinkler heads, PVB valves) in December 2018 ... fantastic work and excellent value/price. See review further below. ---------------------------------- December 2018 Review I recently invited a phone-screened short list of three (3) contractors to my home to bid on the replacement of irrigation lines on the my property as well as plus the replacement of in-ground valves (2) and above-ground PVB - the system is now 14 years old and we were chasing problems. Carlos / LandTeck was the only contractor (of the 3) that showed up on time, offered objective/useful information on several approaches, promptly emailed the most detailed bid (2 contractors committed to price in writing, Carlos was the most specific), and offered the best price-to-value value proposal. We selected LandTeck for the reasons above and Carlos accommodated our schedule for the work. After further reflection and our comfort level with our experience to-date, we decided to use Carlos to simultaneously replace our landscape light wiring, upgrade our the landscape lighting to LEDs, plant 2-3 dozen plants, add a flagstone pathway, and refresh our rock. As expected (but verified), Carlos' updated the bid with highly competitive pricing and a detailed proposed approach & bid -- i.e., I was not taken for granted. The crew showed up for the scheduled days, was on time each day, worked diligently until sunset each day, cleaned up each evening, and checked in before departing. As usual with home improvement projects, we uncovered several site-specific challenges along the way as well as additional problems. The supervisor (Francisco and/or Fernando) was always quick to alert me, provide options (if any), allow us to make decisions (if available), and keep our outlays to a minimum. Note that several issues (e.g., a leaky PVC pipe about a foot away from the PVB) resulted in no additional costs - definitely not my usual contractor experience. The entire crew and Carlos were always on top of the project. The LandTeck professionals genuinely sought to ensure that I was kept apprised throughout the project and that our landscaping objectives (structurally and cosmetically) met or exceeded our goals. I highly recommend LandTeck for similar work and intend to have them return to submit a proposal for my Paver-Patio. For those of you so interested, LandTeck is a family owned and operated business.

Do not hire LandTeck / Las Vegas Irrigation Repair…read more While they were quick to give an estimate, the actual workmanship, parts quality, and post-sale treatment are completely unacceptable. I paid $2,236 for a full two-day drip irrigation replacement. When the job wrapped up, the crew didn't even want to walk the yard with me. I had to insist they check the backyard, where several brand-new emitters were completely bone-dry until a worker hastily tinkered with them. They left without collecting payment, and after I repeatedly tried to get in touch to pay them, they hit me with an $86 (4%) card surcharge despite me having a paper check ready to hand over. Within a few weeks, my established front hedge died because the emitters weren't delivering sufficient water. After researching the green, yellow, and red flag emitters they installed, I learned they are among the cheapest, non-pressure-compensating parts in the irrigation industry. They provide inconsistent flow, barely trickle, and clog easily. Seeing the bottom-barrel parts they used above ground makes me seriously question the quality of everything buried beneath the dirt. When I reached out with photos, the owner, Carlos Rosales, took zero responsibility. He was dismissive and hostile right out of the gate, blaming the dead hedges on the sun and deflecting by claiming this would not have happened if I had signed up for their recurring yard care service, which would not have helped since it is a once per month service they wanted to charge $100 for and the job just completed 5 weeks ago. Worse, Carlos scheduled two separate inspection appointments to look at the damage--first on Thursday, then rescheduled for Friday morning--and ghosted both times without calling, showing up, or offering an apology. It felt entirely intentional just to waste my time. There is a good reason this company has over 30% 1 star ratings on Yelp, so many of them have experienced these same issues. I have zero trust in this company and will not allow them back on my property. Avoid LandTeck (also know as Las Vegas Irrigation Repair) at all costs. UPDATE (9/20/2026): After inspecting every plant and line across my yard, the failure goes far beyond just a couple of weak drippers. The entire installation is defective, improperly laid out, and violates LandTeck's own written contract specifications: Direct Contract Violations on Tree Specs: LandTeck's contract explicitly guarantees "4-8 emitters on TREES". Instead, my 15-foot cherry tree was left with only 2 emitters (one yellow and one green, totaling a meager 6 GPH), and an established bitter orange tree had only 3 emitters. Both setups blatantly ignored their own contract minimums. Damaging Emitter Placement: The crew jammed emitters directly against the tree trunks and root crowns rather than distributing them outward under the branch drip lines. Soaking the bark directly promotes crown and collar rot while completely starving the outer feeder roots. One-Size-Fits-All Inadequacy: Large, established 5-to-6-foot shrubs and thirsty bamboo clumps were given the exact same bare-minimum two green emitters as tiny accent plants. On a shared single zone running 45 minutes, delivering only 3 gallons of water per cycle completely parched and killed my mature hedge. Out-of-Pocket Remediation: Because the owner ghosted two appointments to inspect this defective work, I had to spend over $100 out of pocket at a local nursery just to buy commercial-grade pressure-compensating emitters, fittings, and tubing to correct their mistakes. I now face additional out-of-pocket expenses to purchase replacement plants for everything their careless installation killed. This wasn't just bad customer service--it was incompetent, shortcut-laden workmanship from top to bottom.
