I recently purchased a "Deep Clean service" from J's and its was quite the opposite as advertised. It was quoted at $425 for a top to bottom full service 2br 2bath+ office and nursery it included the rest of the house as well . You can see all of the items on their cleaning Checklist and I'd say maybe 25% of them were done. https://www.jcleaningservice.net/cleaning-checklist Ultimately I was charged $440.25 so upchaged from the quote and they sent 1 person for 3 hours (not sure how it possible for one person to do a deep clean in 3 hours to start with). Either way they completely skipped over one of the bathrooms, Didn't even vacuums parts of some rooms, for example there was a pair of shore in the corner of one room and they were just vacuumed around, its something had to be moved (no matter how small it was just skipped over). Oh, and did I mention they didn't even bring their own vacuum they had to use mine? No dusting was done, fan blades all still covered in dust, no baseboards or corners cleaned no matter how accessible. They say they will wipe down microwave inside and out and cabinet faces, didnt do that, didnt even clean some parts of the counter around my coffee machine. Id break it down to I paid someone almost $150/hr to use my vacuum to do a bare minimum clean that I probably do a few times a week. I reached out and told them i was dissatisfied with my service, provided photos and video of all of the issues they apologized and said they would refund me, so I waited and then the refund never came, I reached back out and they said it should be 7-10 days for the refund to come and it still never came. They cancelled my booking at 6 and they were supposed to come at 12-4. I waited 6 hours and they didn't clean They said consolidate. And I said MAJORITY Of the stuff will be gone. After ensuring all closets, cupboards, and drawers were empty, they started on my third floor and worked their way down to the first floor. Their cleaning was very detailed. They removed pet spots on the carpet that I couldn't clean. They cleaned floor and ceiling moldings. All bathrooms were cleaned. In the kitchen, they emptied the refrigerator of all drawers and thoroughly cleaned them. The stuff was cleaned to perfection, especially the top of the stove. I was delighted by their diligence in ensuring a quality job. Megan and Brian arrived on time and were very professional. So I've never used a maid service before for my home and wanted to try it for the first time. After looking around for a while, I decided to go with J's Cleaning Service. They were super responsive and able to book me within a few days. I asked for 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room and the 1.5 baths to be cleaned and they did a great job. Two people were sent in to do the job and did it within a few hours. My home is use 1400sq ft. My only issue is the pricing. After my first cleaning I asked that in the future I'd like only the kitchen, living room and the bathrooms to be cleaned monthly and I was quoted $150 a month. I may use them again in the future since I know the job they are capable of. They also offer military discounts. If you're in the market to have your home cleaned, which I recommend trying it. We were promised that as the cleaning was being finished we would be contacted so that we may come to do a walk through with the cleaner or so that we could send a friend to it if we were unavailable. We got no contact at all until after the cleaner had already left, and even then it was simply a text saying that they had to "run." I went to drop my key off at the house, as this was a move out clean, I found trash all over the driveway and my clothes in the trash. It had been raining and storming all day, yet whoever cleaned decided to use our trashed paper takeout bags as garbage bags instead of using or bringing trash bags, and then left these paper bags loose in our driveway for the storm to destroy. It also seemed as we were moving we forgot to check the dryer and instead of contacting us about it they took our clothes from the dryer and put them into the trash bins outside. I had to spend over an hour at 9pm, in the rain, cleaning my driveway and picking my clothes out of trash. A majority of fans, windows, etc were not touched; bathrooms still look almost identical as when we left besides sweeping; only appliance cleaned out was my microwave, rest looked like they hadn't been touched; sliding door track hadn't been touched, etc. Now the carpet- the strong scent of soap disguised how horribly it had been done for the first day, but once that had dissipated, the house was filled with a strong, musty, wet dog scent. Upon closer look at the carpet it was clear instead of vacuuming up the dog hair/ dander left behind they had soaked the fur with their carpet cleaner shoving it deep into the carpet, leaving the house with a horrible scent that won't go away. Upon seeing some wiped down counters and the heavy smell of cleaners/soap I thought it must have been done. Over next 1 to 2 weeks my landlord noticed all of the things that had not been done and sent photos. I tried to email the company. It had been a couple of weeks, but I still hadn't heard back. I'm not upset that I didn't hear back right away, companies get busy, emails get lost, and technology isn't always our friend so sometimes things don't even go through. When they did respond to my next email they said they had not received my one from before. What I am upset over is they then went on to say I didn't email them within their 30 day span and that I should have known to call them even after business hours. I made sure to email them within 30 days (first one they didn't receive at day 14 and second one on day 30 during business hours). They didn't respond until the 31st day so they are claiming it's not within 30 days. The last few weeks I have been working during their hours so I was unable to call them during their business hours, and no where on their site or when they speak to you about setting up an appointment do they say to call after business hours. Their website claims that you may use email at anytime and has specific listed calling hours. We no longer have any access to that house because we moved out, the landlord was the one who had to help us set this up for another cleaning crew since we were in the middle of moving into our new home and we no longer had any access to the old home and hadn't heard back from Js. I asked for some type of compensation in return since the job was not done, and since there is no way for us to get them into a house we don't have access to because new people needed to be living in it for them to have done it anyways. I did not request a full return. I understand that technically someone still spent time in the home, and they need to pay their employees, so I do not expect a full return. But it is absolutely unacceptable that they are doing absolutely no compensation because they did not take the time to clean our home. We had to save and spend over $600 for this company alone, for only a 1,500 sq ft home. We are now out over $600, the time it took to clean the driveway, and the money that has to be given to the landlord for the cleaning to actually be done. Wanted them to do a move in cleaning. I specifically said I needed my new home to be deep cleaned and they didn't. I had to pay for a 3 bed 1 bath house cleaning that looked like a 15 year old did a surface clean. They didn't even touch 2 of the rooms. They cleaned the bathroom ok but the kitchen and everywhere else was still dirty. Called and let them know this and they don't give refunds just as a heads up they instead offered to come out and clean again which there was no point anymore as I had to go in and clean it all myself. If I could give 0 stars I would've. My feet were pitch black within minutes of walking into my house. And one of the cleaners disappeared for an hour to go to the bank. We hired J's for a "deep cleaning" of our 800 square ft condo. The quote I was given (including windows, oven and refrigerator) was $315. The woman who came over was wonderful but she mentioned a man was supposed to come and help. He never showed up. She said he's tall and reaches the spots she can't reach (which we ended up noticing since higher up spaces were still visibly dusty). The woman who came did an amazing job for one person (I'd be exhausted). But the fact that we paid $315 for what was supposed to be 2 people but ended up getting the work of one did not sit well with me. When I asked J's service about it they said "we couldn't help he was sick". But... that's it? We also were surprised the tub only looked as clean as it does when we do it ourselves. I thought a cleaning service offering "deep cleaning" would have special equipment. They first offered to send someone over to to the tub again but then took it back and claimed the tub was old and couldn't get cleaned more than it was- but I sent photos with the black gunk that very well could come up. There was also an option under the "get a quote" to ask for grout cleaning (which I clicked). When I let the service know our grout wasn't done they stated they don't offer that. Why was that an option online? I'm still confused by the entire experience but instead of fighting it, I'm just leaving a review. Here's my tip- talk to them over the phone and get clarification of exactly what they will be doing and don't rely on their online service. I thought we'd go with them again but the more I think about it and the more I see in our condo as the days pass that wasn't done- we will be looking elsewhere. I'm leaving 3 stars because we liked the woman who came. *Update August 30th 2021: Is a tub from 2008 considered aged? This review is LONG overdue. The short (tl;dr) version is: J's is fast, affordable, and thorough. The long(er) version is: I was in a pinch and needed to get a big couch cleaned before Thanksgiving. I had 2 other services cancel on me and I was down to the wire. In comes J's. The hero. Friendly, understanding and accommodating are understatements, but pure fact. My couch was gnarly and covered in dog hair and just stuff that couches accumulate over time. I communicated my needs and J's addressed it like it was their absolute top priority. The tech arrived early, explained everything to me, and bounced quickly. The couch was left in an amazing condition and was dry before the out-of-towners arrived. I cannot say enough amazing things about this wonderful company! First, it's family owned - which I love. Second, Dave is retired military, something else I love. Third, they are fast, friendly and super professional. The situation - apparently we could appear in one of those "nose blind" Fabreeze commercials. We awoke on Saturday morning, with family incoming THIS weekend, to realize our big area rug was dirty and smelled like dog. In a panic, I turned to my trusty Yelp and checked out their reviews. I called on the off chance that they might answer, and hallelujah Dave picked up the phone! Not only could they do it TODAY, but they were here in 45 minutes AND gave me an INCREDIBLE price!! You absolutely cannot get any better than this. There is still a little staining in places, but that's on me. The rug is more of a deeply textured carpet, and they didn't have the machine with them for that (remember, I said area rug), but with the sofa in place, I am the only one who notices. Bonus - they gave me a fantastic quote to come back after the first of the year to do the entire upstairs of the house and hit that rug with the machine that's designed for it. It is hard to find a good cleaning service but I know I found one. J's cleaning responded to my request for a quote in 5 minutes. They immediately fit me in for my move in cleaning. The owners, husband and wife, called to verify 45 minutes before my appointment time. When they walked in, they introduced themselves and asked me what I wanted. We even walked room to room and I got to point out areas that I was concerned about. Both of them asked detailed questions about expectations and levels of clean. When they started I was assured that they could move anything they needed to. They brought in deep cleaning supplies, a ladder, a vacuum, a broom and multiple rags. Both are definitely committed to setting a standard with their services. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a move in or move out clean. I will definitely hire them again. I'm sure they're good at a lot of things but one service they shouldn't offer is couch cleaning. Our sectional was still filthy and I had to go over it and clean it with spray and a rag (the marks came right out so it's not like they weren't removable). None of the cushions were turned over for cleaning and some cushions weren't even touched. Really disappointing. read more

On June 25, 2020 I contacted this company for an estimate on a house cleaning for July 15, 2020. He was very responsive and gave me an estimate. He was retired military and we are active duty so we went with him. I messaged him on July 8, 2020 to confirm our appt. He replied back that they have me down for 9am on July 15th. Well 9am came and went. At 9:10 I called them. The women I spoke with was so confused. She had no idea who I was. She offered to send someone out, but at that point I wouldn't trust them to do a good job cleaning if they can't even schedule an appointment correctly. Even after a reminder a week out. I was pretty bummed when I found out my property manager demanded I use a professional cleaning service and turn in receipts once I moved out. Fortunately, I was able to stray from their approved vendors list and chose J's based on their amazing Yelp reviews. From the get-go, they were personable and professional. I called them a month in advance to schedule the cleaning and fortunately got their last available day in July - the only day I could do too. Hello fate! Since I also needed my carpet cleaned in my bedroom, they cut me a deal on the carpets and move out cleaning - $160 total. The day before the appointment, they sent a confirmation text and were super friendly. I love when businesses do that, it's a nice reminder and shows they care. The crew arrived a few minutes late on the big day, but were apologetic and explained it was due to road closures (which I'd been dealing with too - super frustrating!). Four of them showed up - 3 adults and 1 younger boy - you could totally tell it was a family business and they were instilling a work ethic in him, which I thought was great. Everyone was super friendly and kind. They cleaned my apartment in 2 and a half hours and gave me a call when they were finishing up so I could head back to the area. They even helped me go down to the scary basement (it was an old house converted to apartments) and flip the breaker since their carpet cleaning equipment blew the power. I paid via check and received a paid invoice immediately via email, which I was appreciative for since I immediately had to turn around and turn in all documentation and keys to my property manager. I am only giving them 4 stars because I did have to go back behind them and wipe down countertops/floors and sweep again. I am a cleaning Nazi when I move out of any home, and I want it to be spotless. There was still some visible dust and crumbs in the bathroom and kitchen. My experience with J's Cleaning was alright, it wasn't very good as other reviewers. They are the best in response you back and made appointment but the cleaning team was just fine. First, they were polite but showed up late. their cleaning job seemed good but once you looked closer, it looked like they didn't clean that well, they were still dust like on The vents, the blinds, the kitchen counter top, inside the cabinet and the floor.
