I love this place, so instead of dwelling on what isn't there, I'm making my way through the menu looking for a new favorite. Today I tried the Jalapeño Whopper--bacon, grilled jalapeños, and cream cheese on an everything bagel. It was really good. I discovered that warm cream cheese just isn't my thing, but that's 100% on me, not the sandwich. I also ordered the Gootz: sausage, egg, provolone, sautéed mushrooms, and cherry peppers on a garlic bagel. Outstanding. I'd order that again without hesitation. I'm going to keep working my way through the menu in hopes of finding something that fills the Taylor Ham-sized hole in my heart. And even if I never do, I'll happily keep coming back for their outstanding bagels, incredible spreads, great food, and the feeling you get every time you walk through the door. I got a half dozen of their green and red plain bagels, a Jalapeno cheddar bagel with plain cream cheese and bacon (they put lots on yum and it was crispy), and another plain holiday bagel with their Christmas bark cream cheese. These were some of the best bagels I've ever had thus far in my life. The dozen remained warm for an hour after I picked them up. They were so soft all day, from morning, well into the evening.
