If you want a good breakfast sandwich then Fancy Bagels got it! They have varieties type of bagels from savory to sweet. My current addiction is the sweet cinnamon bagel toasted with cream cheese. I try to hit the spot every Sunday. The line can get long but the service is quick. There is a sit down area if you need eat and go do your next errand. The lady in the front and staff is always friendly and nice. She always try to remember her returning customers name which is sweet. I also love that they participate in the "Plate it Forward" for people in need.

Excellent local place to grab a quick breakfast bite or lunch! They have bagels, bagel sandwiches, wraps, coffee, and more. There is casual seating available, first come first serve. The food was ready very quickly and tasted delicious! Very reasonable pricing too.

Last Sunday, my 9 year old son and I drove 20 minutes to the Southington Fancy Bagel. The food we received was very good and I can see why people I know are big fans of Fancy. We arrived around 10 a.m. and it was very busy. Service was friendly, but I'm sure it's challenging to provide optimal service when it's that busy. I ordered a bagel sandwich for myself, a plain bagel with cream cheese and French Fries for my son, a 1/2 dozen assorted bagels and two containers of cream cheese. One person initially took my order, and then a different person rung our order. I didn't notice until after we left, but we did not get our cream cheese containers. In retrospect, I don't believe that we were charged for the cream cheese because the cost was lower than I expected. I assume there was some miscommunication between the first person and the cashier. My toasted sesame bagel sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado and mayo was delicious. The bagel had good texture and worked well for a sandwich. The sesame seeds were on point. The bacon was ample and peak crispy. The other toppings all worked well too. I mean it's basically a BLT with avocado, so what's not to love. The menu indicated that the sandwich I ordered also came with turkey, but there was no turkey on the sandwich. The sandwich was terrific without the turkey, but that was a service miss. Later that day, I had a Fancy Everything Bagel and some cream cheese from a different place. I believe Cafe Busy Bean serves Fancy Bagels, so I've previously had a Fancy Everything Bagel. When I ate at Cafe Busy Bean, I described it as the most everything Everything Bagel ever. Still holds true. It was very good. The food that we received from Fancy was very good and in the 4.5 to 5 Star range, but I've got to deduct a point for the service misses. So I ended up at 3.5 to 4 Stars.

Run, don't walk to Fancy Bagels! These are the best bagels & bagel sandwiches we've hands down ever had. The bagels are delicious and light yet when toasted a delightful crisp! The line moved decently fast, if you can-call ahead for pick up as there is a separate line when you come in to pick up! The staff was super friendly for a busy Sunday morning and there is plenty of seating to stay and enjoy! We can't wait to come back and try out more if their specialities. Pro tip; on your breakfast sandwich add a crispy hash brown-you won't regret it!

Arriving at Fancy Bagels late morning the first thing I noticed was they had a huge selection of bagels. While deciding on my choice of bagels, there was an employee restocking freshly baked bagels. Other bagel places that I have been to late morning, you can have a hard time finding any selection at all. We tried two flavors that we never had before sweet cinnamon (which was amazing), and double cheddar. Plus a old favorite cinnamon raisin.Their bagels are simply delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Went to this place for breakfast and it was pretty good. We ordered two bacon egg and cheese bagels . I got mine on the cinnamon sugar bagel and it was tasty. I will say that the everything bagel was a little too salty for my liking, so I'd skip that flavor. It could've been a bit cheesier but other than that I would go back again. The service was pretty fast even though there was a line! The ambiance was great, a very family friendly establishment. I loved all the decorations on the wall.

The aioli was delicious and went well with the tots. The sunny side comes with a hollandaise so I figured poached eggs would go best. The eggs were perfectly runny. My two complaints: I could have used a bit more hash browns under the eggs. I asked for a side of toast because there weren't enough potatoes to soak up the yolk with. The hollandaise has good flavor but arrives a bit watery and foamy. It also seems like they serve unsalted whipped butter? I could be wrong but my buttered toast was bland. Overall, I will definitely come again. The coffee was good, there are other dishes I want to try, and our server, Meikhi was so nice and attentive. He's very personable and matched the energy of each of his tables.

She kept conversation going, was quick with the drinks and made sure we got our food order right before the kitchen closed. Yes, we love J.Tim's,…read moreappreciate the local flair of O-Joe's (both locations), and even admire the smoked wings in an around Torrington. Someone gave me the tip to try these as he thought they would "compete" with the aforementioned. For the first 5 min of my visit, I thought it might be the case. Here are the reasons to ABSOLUTELY GO!!!!! Even if a 30-45 min drive. 1) SERVICE - simply fantastic. Huge thanks to Destiny and the kitchen for making my experience great. 2) ATMOSPHERE - THIS IS the place I want to come to watch the games, for the long haul in the fall or playoff time! Great lighting. Music gives way to the game. Locals. Golf and bowling games. You name it. Fantastic. 3) THEIR BLUE CHEESE - unique. Delicious. Clearly house made. Makes the wing experience better. Here are the reasons I would only go if convenient: 1) THE FOOD - My chili to start only said beef chili on the menu. On first bite, there was a stinging salty taste of BACON. I have no problem eating bacon, but should say it on the menu for those who do not. And, that flavor profile is not what chili evokes. 2) THE WINGS - when the blue cheese and veggies came out, I was almost hyperventilating with excitement. The wings then came. Huge let down. Without going into the subtleties of the sauces, I'm more focused on deciding if they were frozen-pre-breaded wings or fresh wings with a salty/shake and bake coating on them. They're huge. They're crispy (kitchen is good). They're just not a traditional wing (should also say coated on the menu). 3) THEIR OIL - one of my wings was a delicious lemon pepper dry rub. So much promise. So crispy. Then, the flavor transfer hit. They must have fried fish on the menu. Same/old fry oil So my wings without a sauce (dry rub) tasted faintly of fried cod. Gross. I will go back. I liked the staff and feel enough. It could be fun. But it's not the hidden wing Mecca I will continue to search for. Service, feel, blue cheese earn all the stars.

This little unassuming place deserves every one of them! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly man at the counter who seated us and brought menus. He turned out to be very helpful finding out this was our first time here. The store was well lit and clean. The tables were well spaced and not crowded in. My wife stuck to our tradition and ordered the RT 10 Dog with the spicy relish on the side. (Which was great for me) I couldn't resist The Hungry Bull burger. We'll just have to come back again for me to try their hotdogs. The 10' hot dog is a Martin Rosol's so the foundation of this hot dog is super strong. The sauerkraut was tasty and full flavored and just the right amount of mustard. My wife tried the spicy relish, that our server cheerfully supplied on the side, and it was a little too hot for her liking. Bonus for me. I got to put it on my burger. My burger came out stacked on a sturdy Brioche Roll with American cheese, onion straws and some very tasty horseradish crema. My burger was juicy and full of flavor. The onion straws brought the right amount of crunch. Halfway through I began to add in the spicy relish. Amazing. We got fries and onion rings and shared. The fries were big, crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside. Just the way I like them. The onion rings were amazing. I like when you bite into an onion ring and the whole onion doesn't come sliding out. These were perfect. Very good crunch and flavor. We have already decided that we will be back. I can't wait to try the hot dogs and the chicken sandwiches that were also calling my name.

My son got one of their burgers and absolutely devoured it. Finally, their fries and onion rings are some of the best I've had in a while. I'm bummed that we are only in CT to visit family once a year, because this would definitely be added to our regular treat rotation.

As I walked through the front doors, I noticed kegs alongside on the floor. This was kind of a turn off, kind of reminds me of a dive bar. So my mentality kicked in that we were going into a dive bar serving food. I kinda get the sketchy feeling. Once we were seated, and menus placed, we were served iced water A few minutes later, the server came back and took our order. My friend ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and some string french fries. I ordered the 1/2 smoked chicken, which came with two sides. I chose the rattlesnake beans and the creamy macaroni and cheese. Also include included was cornbread I originally wanted the street corn, as a side, but it was not available. Our lunches came quick, and my friend only ate half the french fries and cheeseburger, as she wasn't really turned on by them. The smoked chicken was fairly dry, with a very interesting smoked flavor to it that I can't put my finger on. I eat about 1/3 of it. Left the rest on the plate. The creamy macaroni and cheese was out of bounds top-notch. I could've eaten this all day. The rattlesnake rice and beans were just OK. The rice was cooked pretty good, and was seasoned well. The beans had a weird taste. Now thinking of this side dish, I was hoping for raw onions to be on top, but they were nowhere to be found. It'll be nice if there was chopped raw onions to go with this. The cornbread was delicious. I ate about half of it. It was a generous slice. While the server was fairly attentive, as she only checked in to fill the water glasses and ask how lunch was. She didn't ask us if we wanted a desert or coffee. Being old folks this would've been a great up for us, but it didn't happen. I had to ask for the check. I'm not sure if I would come back. I think this might be a one and done. The vibe just didn't hit it for me. Restrooms were clean. The restaurant was clean; the silverware clean. I don't know. It just was like a funky type layout and those beer kegs kinda sent the wrong tone to me as a guest. Lunch for the two of us was $40 and change and I left a $10 tip. We didn't have any cocktails or mock tails, we didn't have coffee or dessert either. From what I understand, the owner was near the exit when we left, not even a smile or a thank you for coming in...
