I…read moreoriginally took it to the Anthony Joseph on post at the PX to get an estimate for USAA to cover the cost, but they don't do repairs there. It was fine with me and she informed me of the new location and I headed over to see Tony in Harker Heights. He gave me an estimate and USAA had payment to me a day and a half later (5for them too!) I dropped off my ring and said I'd be wearing it again by the holidays! That was at maybe 140pm, then I went to eat and shop in Heights. Anthony Joseph just moved to Harker Heights from by Killeen Mall so their contact info needs an update...you take a right off Knight's Way onto Stillhouse and it's on your left with the spa and orange theory fitness and some other store fronts that aren't open yet bc it's brand new. At 330pm I got a call saying my ring was ready! I was shocked and it was perfect timing! I just finished at Ross dress for less! Picked it up and looked amazing and polished and they even sonic cleaned my wedding band while I did paperwork and payment. Came out better than expected! Will definitely be coming here for future jewelry work, creations and purchases. The owner and everyone there is So nice, including Dutch, their beefy, beautiful and friendly pup who is probably 1/4 of the reason I returned to have my ring repaired there...who doesn't love a sweet pup! There are vendors, stores, nail salon, eye exams, food court and of course the PX. This place has a MAC store inside! That is pretty awesome so you won't have to drive far to go to a MAC store. You can also pick up or fill your prescriptions here with Darnell. Pretty convenient! I have tried Sarka and the Chinese food here in the food court. It was decent. You must have a valid military id in order to make purchases at the PX. The parking lot is spacious and this place is always busy when I stop in on the weekends. They have events here from time to time. Book signing events to meet and greets.

I came in here to find a bargain at the main store. And like the many previous visits (even if it was at that previous location) it didn't fail. Found tons of clothing and shoes and bags at super marked down prices. I felt like I made out like a bandit! I also noticed they carry much much more brand names than they did before, and with their items being tax free, you can't go wrong. And FYI: they do price matching! Good thing I'm always on a time limit with every visit. It'll surely put my budget in serious danger!

Today I called to ask about selling an item and was told to bring it in and they will check it out and if they buy it, I would be offered 1/5 of the retail price, which is $500. I know it's in excellent condition and working perfectly. I took it in, the gentleman confirmed it's working, great. Then the manager came over and told him to not buy it for more than $25, because it's not a common item. I understand that policy, don't over pay for something you won't be able to profit off of. But if the manager knows that these types of items are only going to be bought for $25, then the rest of her staff should know that too. How are employees supposed to give accurate information if they don't know the "other rules"??? If customer service is a priority, this would have been a great time to make an exception, pay the 1/5 retail price and do better next time by informing your employees. I don't do a lot of pawn shop business but if I do in the future, it will not be there. I'll be sure to pass along my experience to others as well.
