[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is so nice![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The people are friendly and patient when I wasn't so sure what kind of nails I wanted[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (eventually ended up with gel-x). Will definitely be back!

    What I asked for

I had one of the worst nail salon experiences here. I came in on July 2nd and showed a photo of a specific nail design I wanted. The manager reassured me they could do it, but said it would cost more unless I went with a sparkly polish that would look "just like it." [[HIGHLIGHT]]She also said I'd need a new set, broke down the pricing, and booked me for the next day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On July 3rd, during the appointment, the tech soaked off my old set and ended up exposing an injury where the tissue beneath the nail was visible. He panicked and went to get the manager. When I asked if it was even safe to continue, she just said, "It's up to you." I decided to go forward, sat through two hours of shaping and filing, and then at the very end, the manager rushed through the design, which looked nothing like what I showed them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She could clearly tell I wasn't happy and even asked, "What's wrong?" When I said it didn't look like the picture, she just said, "I told you similar."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At checkout, they charged me $105. She had the nerve to ask me for a tip even after telling me I don't look happy about my nails which I told her I didn't like them, she said "sorry about that" with a smile on her face. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No offer to fix, no care at all. Tip culture is not mandatory, especially when the service doesn't meet expectations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came back on July 5th (they were closed the 4th), not to complain, but because every time I looked at my hands, I couldn't stand the design. I just wanted it changed to a simple, neutral color. Nothing extra. Instead, she said I'd have to pay another $33 because they "spent too much time on me." As if that was my fault. It was clear their main priority wasn't quality, it was to get me in, get my money, and get me out the door. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole vibe was money-hungry from the start, and customer satisfaction clearly means nothing to them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As I turned to leave, she waited until my back was turned to say, "Don't come back here" as if I would ever after that whole interaction.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This place was rude, and extremely unprofessional. If you care about quality, honesty, and basic respect, go elsewhere.

    Builder gel mani

I love the decor and ambience of this salon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seven is a wonderful manicurist.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've had multiple services here in the past, including builder gel and dip powder, and have found them to be good quality. I do feel the cost of add-on services (certain nail shapes, chrome powder, etc.) is a bit steep compared to other places. Overall, I really enjoy this salon and will continue coming back.

The owner did not greet me or acknowledge me, but I noticed a completely different attitude when other customers entered. Unfortunately, the service I received from the employee who performed my pedicure was even more concerning. The employee was extremely rough throughout the entire service. She handled my feet aggressively, including repeatedly moving my feet roughly in and out of the basin. The service was painful and uncomfortable. The way she treated me made me feel like I was not being respected as a customer. During the appointment, I noticed employees looking at me and speaking amongst themselves while looking in my direction, which made me feel even more uncomfortable. The entire experience felt unprofessional and lacked basic kindness and customer care. What was most upsetting was that the owner was aware of what was happening but did not step in. She was informed about the situation, yet she continued working as if nothing happened. There was no immediate apology, no attempt to check on me, and no concern shown for the fact that I was being treated roughly. After leaving the salon, I realized how much pain I was in. I walked into the salon normally and walked out struggling to walk. I am now dealing with pain that has affected my ability to do everyday things, including working, exercising, and standing for long periods. I am also concerned about the cuts/open areas on my feet and the possibility of complications. I called the salon afterward because I wanted an explanation for how this situation was handled. The owner told me the workers apologized, but my concern was that she personally witnessed what happened and did not step in or acknowledge it at the time. It took me calling and expressing how hurt and disappointed I was before receiving an apology. When I returned to receive my refund, I felt dismissed. While I was explaining how much pain I was in and how this experience affected me, the owner's reaction came across as if the situation was not serious. I was also told that the pumice stone used during the service could cause damage, especially for new customers. However, I have been receiving pedicures for years and have never experienced anything like this. A customer should not leave a salon in pain because a service was performed too aggressively. A salon service should be relaxing and safe. Customers should never feel mistreated, uncomfortable, or leave injured after paying for a service. This was one of the most upsetting customer service experiences I have ever had. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision before booking an appointment.
