I always get the Rock & Roll roll and it's seriously my favorite. It's so fresh and flavorful every single time--I literally crave it. You can tell they're consistent with their quality, which I love. Service is always quick, and everything just runs smoothly every time I go. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Amarillo. If you haven't tried the Rock & Roll roll yet, you're missing out!!

Came here in April of 2026 to give this place a swirl ... I would give this place a 3.5 stars…read more The vibe: A casual spot that can't quite decide if it's in Bangkok or Tokyo... and honestly leans more Thailand than Japan. Decor is more Thai than Japan, nothing memorable. Service? Also fine & courteous - you'll get what you need, just not much extra. The menu moment: Lots of varieties of Thai dishes and Japanese rolls. What I tried: Pad Kee Mao (#58) -- Stir-fried udon with a full house of meats, shrimp, and veggies. Spicy, saucy, and hits the spot if you're craving pan-fried noodles. Solid portion for $14.95 -- and the one thing I'd come back for. Crispy Tofu (#5) -- Tried it for the first time... and probably the last. Didn't quite land for me. $8.95. The takeaway: Nothing really stands out here, but it gets the job done if you're in the mood for Thai-style noodles. The know before you go: No dessert. Translation: no mango sticky rice. Tragic. Next on deck: Ceviche Salad (#89) -- because curiosity wins. The bottom line: Worth it if you're nearby and want a quick noodle fix. Just keep expectations in check (and maybe skip the tofu).

What an incredible dinner at Little Laos!…read more Our party enjoyed our meal on their cute patio. Everything was very clean and felt cozy in the evening breeze. Our server was so sweet, 10/10 service! Starters: 1. Fried Quail - Crispy yet juicy. Very well seasoned 2. Laos Sausage - Fragrant lemongrass notes with a slight spicy kick. Perfect snap Entrees (medium spicy): 1. Beef Laab - Tender beef and tripe tossed in bright lime juice and bean sprouts 2. Pork Pad Kra Pao - Savory ground pork with a nice runny egg (additional charge) 3. Mixed Vegetables (mild) - Perfect texture and a beautiful wok hei aroma. A great addition to the spiciness from the other dishes 4. Chicken Panang - Creamy curry with a savory coconut flavor. Chicken did veer on the drier side Dessert: 1. Sticky Mango Rice - Cannot go wrong with warm, sweet sticky rice, mangoes, and cold vanilla ice cream. The best ending to a delicious, comforting meal. If you're making a trip through the iconic Route 66, make sure to swing by this amazing restaurant!

LAOTIAN SAUSAGE w STICKY RICE was the star of the show here. It was very flavorful and the side tomato sauce packed a punch! We also ordered SPICY PAPAYA SALAD, BEEF YUM SALAD, and SUMMER ROLLS. All dishes were expertly made. I personally loved how they used woon sen noodles in the summer rolls. This is such a unique touch.

I've been to Amarillo less than 10 times in my life (more than most people), and this is the second time I've stayed overnight which has allowed me to explore more of the city. After a long and busy day, we found ourselves hungry when My Thai was suggested. Everyone in the house sat up practically jumping out of their seats. Postures changed. No one was slouching. Everyone was at attention. That's the tone-setting type of energy a place like My Thai brings to Amarillo residents. I put my Yelp reviewer hat on, and immediately bought into the experience. It was time. Like most Thai and Chinese restaurants, there are a lot of different options on the menu, but most of them seem to be the same text in different fonts. That's not a diss. There's just a lot of simple variations to these meals that change it into something completely different. I ordered their Vegetable Fried Rice with Chicken added in. I was told that the additional vegetables added in their vegetable fried rice elevated the meal to another level, so I followed orders. We also ordered both pork and shrimp egg rolls to enjoy. Once the order was placed, my girlfriend and I went moments later to pick up the meal. For 5 people, it came in three separate bags filled with tons of styrofoam to-go boxes, all of which were immensely heavy (considering that it was just food). We drove home with these multi-pound bags sitting on my lap and once inside we cracked them open to reveal an absolutely loaded meal for every one of us. There were 3 meals in each to-go container. For the $10-$12 we paid for a meal, it is an incredible bargain for the amount of vegetables, chicken, and fried rice they sent my way. Inside, there was stir fried broccoli, snow peas, green cabbage, celery, mushrooms and carrots, tomatoes and onions. With a little soy sauce, the meal was immaculate to sit on the couch and destroy. I had leftovers on leftovers that I never got to eat because there was so much stock. The egg rolls were crispy and packed with flavor as well, which made them just as addictive as the main meal. This is one of those places that is around for generations and people pass it down. My girlfriend's mom told me she would eat here when she was in high school. That's a place that has built its legacy in Amarillo. It's been open since the 80s. That's more of a cultural touchstone to the real Amarillo residents that most places can't even match. That's love. That's simply the best takeout you can get in Amarillo. When the landline phone is being passed around to take dinner orders like a blunt, that's a first ballot hall of famer.
