From basic treatments and checkups to their 24/hour on call services, we've been extremely satisfied in every way. First on Dr. Beth and Jessel. They are both extraordinary and I'm never concerned getting scheduled with either one. They are knowledgable, caring, sensitive and sweet with our kids and bring that same level of care when you have to call them at 3 am with a screaming baby. I get the sense Jessel may be more experienced, but it honestly hasn't mattered who we see. But I suppose for a really serious matter that's who I'd want to talk to. The staff at the office is also great. I've gotten great over the phone help from nurses and even the crew behind the desk is very nice. And overall the office is cheery and nicely decorated. Finally, when my wife gave birth to our second, we never got to St. Peter's hospital where they have rounds and instead had to go to RWJ in Somerville. Even though they couldn't go into the hospital to see us, we got fabulous support from Dr. Jessel when the baby was having some difficulties. She was available on the phone, super supportive and provided our baby wonderful care. Can you tell we love them? My wife and I say that nearly every time we leave.

Dr. Jessel now has her own practice in a beautiful new office in Bridgewater (by the Bridgewater Mall). Her calm demeanor, professionalism and knowledge of pediatric medicine are excellent. She has worked with us very closely through medical issues with our second child and gives us the comfort of knowing we are getting the best care possible for our children. She is extremely responsive and always makes us feel like our concerns are important. We recommend her highly to anyone looking for a pediatrician as an expecting parent, parents who are new to the area or are looking for a new doctor for their children. Finally, I love the patient portal which allows me to see my children's upcoming appointments, check in for an appointment, see their medical history, request a refill and send questions directly to Dr. Jessel. We are extremely happy with the care our children receive from Dr. Jessel.

So far everywhere else I have gone has only ever charged less than 15% of what this office charges for the same exact services. The doctors are always rushing and barely paying attention and I NEVER get the follow up paperwork or referrals I have asked for. I'm done with this place, it's been three years I've tried my best. They lean on their monopoly of locations and offer pure terrible service.

I brought my daughter to this office on June 1, 2026, with a severe stomach virus. Before we even…read morearrived, I called multiple times and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. Ironically, when I later returned to pick up medical records, I overheard staff being reprimanded for not answering calls, so this clearly isn't an isolated issue. The biggest problem throughout this experience was the front desk receptionist. She was consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. During my daughter's sick visit, I was told she might not be seen because my debit card on file had been replaced--even though my children have active Medicaid. Thankfully, the doctor agreed to see my daughter, but that conversation should never have happened. After receiving my replacement card, I contacted the office explaining that, due to financial hardship, I was uncomfortable keeping a card on file because I couldn't risk unexpected charges. Since I was told my children wouldn't be seen without one, I requested copies of their medical records. Communication was poor from the start. I repeatedly had to follow up just to receive responses, and although I was told the records would be emailed, they never were. When I finally picked up the records, my daughter's vaccination records were missing. I was then informed the office had never followed up with the previous provider despite having nearly a year to do so. When I calmly asked why I had never been notified, I was met with a dismissive attitude, inappropriate comments, and a complete lack of professionalism. It wasn't until I mentioned pursuing legal action that the office finally took the records request seriously. Dr. Jiang has always provided excellent medical care to my children, and I have no complaints about her as a physician. Unfortunately, the front office experience overshadows that. Poor communication, difficulty obtaining records, unanswered phones, and unprofessional treatment of patients have left me with little confidence in this practice. One final observation: after reading this practice's responses to other negative reviews, the person handling them often comes across as defensive and combative rather than genuinely addressing patients' concerns. Constructive criticism should be met with professionalism and accountability, not hostility. That pattern only reinforces the experience I had. The medical care is good, but the customer service needs significant improvement

As working parents with weekday commitments, we specifically chose their practice based on its advertised Saturday hours see at https://watchungpediatrics.com/walk-in-hours. It is frustrating and disheartening to be denied access based on inconsistent and unclear information from the staff--we have to waste long time in the phone call communication! Their team should be properly trained to provide accurate and consistent information regarding Saturday availability, and to treat all families fairly and respectfully.
