However, that was the beginning of a year of headaches and runarounds. First of all, the unit they put in was entirely too big for the house (a 4 ton unit for a 1500 sq ft house). This was admitted by the techs when we called them out to address the extreme humidity in the house (80%+ humidity with the AC on), which was caused by having an oversized and overpowered unit. So we were given a unit completely inappropriate to what we needed, and charged more for it. This caused us headaches throughout the year. Fast forward to this winter, and we are having more issues with this year old furnace. We had to call them out twice in the course of a week to do repairs, at least one of those because the furnace froze up due to no one having thought of running a vent down to the cellar. We've ended up paying what is likely thousands of dollars more than is necessary stemming from this brand new unit which has given us far more grief than our previous unit ever did prior to it going out. Maybe my situation was unique, because I see all the positive reviews otherwise. However, if I were to recommend anyone to a friend, I would not recommend All Klear anymore. They've lost my confidence entirely.

Then they came out this morning and finish the job in less than an hour. All the sinks are great now. they were very professional and the price was great. They were very sell's oriented trying to promote their monthly VIP service, and telling us we most likely need a new sewer pipe. Two days later we call Roto-Rooter they ask where our clean out is? We tell them we don't know, so they say they will need to install one before they can clear the drain $4,200!! And there's also a chance we need a need sewer line $10,000!!!! Mike sent out a friend he works with and the man waled right to the back of the house., pulled off some boot, and shove a grinding machine in the pipe... Boom cleared in 20 minutes!!!! I'm not sure the guys name, but this is the second time my home warranty sent this guy out with…read morethis company and the second time it got mis diagnosed or he couldn't get it, so they would've needed to come back out, which the home warranty was not going to cover. The first time he came out, it was for my water heater. I knew that's what was wrong with it, but he didn't have the tool to check it, so he said I needed all new pipes. Obviously the warranty wouldn't cover that, so I called for a second opinion and thank goodness I did, cuz it was in fact the water heater. This time around, my pipes are clogged and he only had a 30ft snake or whatever he used, so he "couldn't" clear the clog. They called the home warranty to get approved for a bigger machine and/or to cut the pipe after finding the clog. He told home warranty there was grass and woodchips in there, so cuz that's a "foreign object", it wouldn't get covered so they would want me paying out of pocket. I called for a second opinion and the same guy that came out last time for the water heater, came out and cleared my pipe in a half hour. He did not see any woodchips and/or grass. This guy is a joke and does not know what he's doing. I don't like really leaving reviews, but cuz this is the second time with this company/guy...I feel like they are a dirty company and cuz the home warranty will only cover so much, they would rather the warranty not cover so they can charge you a heck of a lot more. I will make sure my home warranty never chooses this company again if I need work done!
