You could not ask for a better salesman no pressure very understanding and very knowledgeable about the vehicle that we were looking to purchase. They had a large selection of vehicles on their lot. They also offer some incentives when you buy a vehicle from them. So I was asked to take my first post down on google and see if we could resolve the issue, against my better judgement I did well now I'm putting it back up! Will never buy another vehicle from JTs again! The warranty and service department are a joke! We had our truck in the shop 2 weeks ago and I honestly don't even think they looked at it and gave us some random diagnosis got $700 from us just for 3 days later the check engine light came back on. Put it back in the shop last week they call tell us something was put on wrong, this belt is bad and etc but warranty want cover it. So you are telling me that in 2 weeks this belt went bad and why haven't they noticed something was installed wrong over the several times they have had truck! What's the point in the platinum warranty if they don't cover stuff? At this point I just want my truck back and will never do business with them! This isn't the first issue we have had with the service department. Had truck in for oil change when they pulled sticker off they ripped the tint strip wasn't reimbursed or fixed! I purchased my jeep maybe a month or so ago. I was having problems with the brakes, the caliper actually, so I called service and the lady that answered said they wouldn't fix it because it wasn't under warranty for that. Well, a week later, I called parts department to see how much a caliper would be and the gentleman told me over $400. I said, dang, y'all should be the ones fixing it. He ask me to hold on and he spoke to my salesman, Gerry, and the Don over the service department. He came back to the phone and said, have your jeep here Friday morning. I was there at 7:30 and didn't leave there until 5:30 that afternoon without my jeep. Don had them put on new brake pads and rotors and told me it was ready to go. That was about 12:00. I left and made it to the red light and it looked like my jeep was on fire when I applied the brakes. I went back and Don instantly put his mechanic on it. He said he was going to put a new caliper on it and have me on my way. Well, the parts store sent the wrong on and then, they couldn't get the part from another Dodge dealership until the next morning. That was Labor Day weekend and I made it back on Tuesday to pick my jeep up due to death in the family. Every since I picked it up, I've had no problems with it! THANK YOU DON, YOU'RE THE BEST! My husband had his car serviced here about a month ago (March), a few weeks later he was having the same issue so he took it back in. He left several messages for the mechanic who called him back after a couple of days and said he had not gotten to it. Another week goes by, he left more messages and this time no one called him back. After 2 and a half weeks, he just decided to go get it. No one apologized or explained anything, car wasn't looked at. No response as of yet :) April 1 June 6- The mechanic left a message saying sorry for the delay, they looked at the car and can't figure it out. Brought a brand new 2023 (Late Dec 2024) from a Dealer in Elgin, JT's Lex was much closer to home and I was advised that should I ever have any issues, i could bring the vehicle to any Dealer. As luck would have it I had several issues with the vehicle that needed to be looked at. When scheduling I advised them that I expected a loaner as I did not buy a brand new Truck to sit in their waiting room for a day or more... they said they would call me when a vehicle was available. After almost 2-2.5 months, no call... I called, stated my discontent and miraculously was able to bring in the truck that day and get a loaner. Several days go by, I get the report on the issues which included ordering two new parts. I was advised that these would be in in 7 days or less. That was the week before Labor Day, it is now October the 2nd, and not even so much as a phone call. I do recall being asked more than once if I had purchased the vehicle at JT's, not certain of the relevance, however, I can assure you that scenario will never happen if I buy another Dodge at all. Tried calling today, put on hold, called back, spoke to Sales (as customer relationships are very important when trying to sell), and they were no help at all, and I am now posting a tidy review to warn others of the lack of professionalism demonstrated here. I think this is a sign of the times. I will be re I will say this, my wife has a new Hyundai Tuscan and the folks at Stivers have been outstanding, almost tripping over themselves trying to assist her when she brings it in for the regular COVERED maintenance. Went in for a routine oil change and was told by Jeff that my car wouldn't start. I've only had my vehicle for 8 months and have never had any issues but Jeff stated my starter went out it happens as if I was suppose to believe that. After I challenged and questioned him on the issue he began to get upset raising his voice and rolling his eyes. I asked for a manager several times stated I wasn't going to just accept whatever bull he was trying to feed me and no one ever approached me. Approximately 20 minutes later Jeff returns and says one of my wires were loose, hands the clerk the paperwork and storms off. Bought my Ram there in 2020. I have had to have 2 issues resolved with service. Each time I've gone in, they were extremely nice. Both times I was told the parts had to be ordered and they would call me in a specified number of days. Both times, I have had to call them well after the number of days that I was originally told I'd receive a call. Today, I called because I went in about 3 weeks ago and was told I'd hear from them in about a week. When I called the service department, I explained the reason for the call and the person on the other end said that i need to talk to the parts department. I wasn't aware that I now have to check to see if the parts were ordered, delivered and then have to set up my own appointment. I thought that was the job of the service department. I enjoy my truck but I most likely will not shop at JTs again. In the end, I guess they won because they sold a truck but they won't get my return business when myself or my wife begins the car shopping process again. read more

First, let me start by saying these people are crooks. I purchased a 2019 Kia Optima in July 2022. I purchased a warranty at one price and after I signed my paperwork, the finance manager printed out my documents, and I saw that the warranty was significantly lower than what he had me to sign. (WAY LOWER) The old bait and switch tactic he used. You see one price on the screen and when the paperwork is signed, the numbers differs significantly. And when confronted about it. He denies it so I'm pretty sure they do this often to their customers. Secondly, my battery died a few weeks ago and I could not get into my car. I tried using my key to manually unlock my door and the key did not work. When the locksmith showed up to unlock my car, he informed me that the key I have is not cut. I informed JTs and they tried to cut a key for my car and it did not work as well. The Sales manager informed me that I have to get my car rekeyed and that they will not pay for it because it's been a year and a half since I bought the car and that he has no way of knowing whether the blame is on them or not. I informed him that I did not know the key was blank until my battery died and I actually had to use it. I have push start and remote lock so therefore, I didn't have a need for the key. He then proceeded to tell me that for all he knows I could've just bought a blank key and wanted them to cut it for free. I was in total shock. I was without a vehicle for a whole week!!! Why would I go through all of that just to get a "free" key made. He was rude and very unprofessional. I actually believe they knew there was no key to my vehicle before they sold it to me and they didn't want to pay to have it rekeyed, hence why I have a blank key in the fob. As of now, I have no key for my vehicle that they sold me. Best believe I'm taking this matter further. When the sales reps find it funny that we give a false phone number and email to avoid the annoying contacts from them, that should tell you something. Said they were gonna start sharing it with the customers. Took 4 days to get the "internet price" from them. The hiding price crap they do online is ridiculous, even the sales rep I mentioned it to agreed, stated "it's one of the more ignorant things we do." Once we finally got a price, it was $13k more than what the window sticker on the car was showing. Save your money and shop elsewhere. We definitely are!!! read more

Unfortunately for my brother and I (who was in town visiting) we went to look at a 2015 Ram 2500 that we had previous knowledge of the last owner and the full history of how/why it ended up at JTs. The salesman was kind, nice and knowledgeable, but when it came time to talk numbers, the situation took a turn for the worse. The manager who assisted us was rude, lying through his teeth, and insulting at best. He offered 5 thousand dollars lower than the "estimator" on JTs own website, and when asked to justify it, couldn't even make a logical argument. I kept telling the manager that I wanted his company to make money on the Ram, and money on my 2011 F250 but I believe he took my knowledge of what was paid for the Ram, and the mechanical history of it a little too personally. As a business owner myself the prospect and offer of makin $4,000 on the front side, and making the same profit on the back side (with a market value of $36,999 on my truck with a $32,000 trade value) all I wanted was a fair deal. As for me and my business (I had funds ready to make this happen) I will have to go to a different establishment that is ready to make money and be fair rather than blatantly take advantage of a potential customer, and be too ignorant to put together a logical argument as to "why." *Hint* They have my file written down as if I talked to Taz, and that was just not factual, I talked to a first level manager who obviously was having a rough day. read more

We brought my son a car from there back in May of this year, and we have had nothing but problems. It's a 2019 Kia optima we had to take it back up the 3 weeks after getting It. For low oil they changed the oil and said it was fixed. 3 weeks later low oil,so we took it back they said that they had to put a new oil plug in. 3 weeks later back we go. This went on for 3 months then they told us we had to take it over to the Kia Dealership. We had to pay 700 for some type of oil burning test. Now Kia has to break the engine down to see what is wrong and that if the car was burning oil that fast when we got it,it didn't just start it was traded in like that. The warranty my not cover it and we will have to pay to fix it ourselves. 1,958 just to break it down. I called and talked to them they said it was nothing that they can do, because they just sale the cars. I said That we have payments on the car for the next 6 years and it started having problems before we made the first payment. That is not good Business we went there and trusted them. Brought my Jeep in today because of a noise that started after having my car serviced elsewhere. Over the past 3 months I've brought it back to the initial shop plus a few others and no one could figure out the problem. When I brought it to JTs today they took it for a test drive, figured out what the problem was, and fixed it under an hour. I recently purchased a new vehicle. After searching several online and local dealerships, I decided to stop by JTs Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep. I am a very specific when I go in search of vehicles and I don't do well with salesman who are pushy. When my friend and I pulled up we were greeted by this very tall and friendly guy walks up and introduces himself and ask what we were looking for? Not pushy, but more charming. Jon, aka known as Big Jon Teal, listened to me instead of bombarding me with the inventory and pushy sales guy that normal sales people do. I explained the equity in my car was 2k negative, that I wanted a vehicle that kept my payments in a certain range and that it had to be inclusive with the 100k bumper to bumper, Gap and tire/rim replacement. That I wanted a mid size SUV, but was interested in a Cherokee or Jeep. That my must haves were dark seats, no leather, I wanted Bluetooth or wireless phone capabilities, and alloy rims were a must and spacious inside. When I say he listened, he memorized my list. He then said he felt he had the perfect vehicle, but it was not on the main lot, it was in their inventory in the back. He asked one question, my color preference. Being a UGA Girl, of course Red was at the top of my list. Jon left for about 7 minutes and pulled up in the exact SUV I would have chosen for myself from the color to the rims and style, he nailed it. I loved the outside, but the inside had to meet my expectations as well. Again, he nailed it. We drove it, I loved it and knew I had at least found the right Sales Associate, he truly is a gem. Now the financial side. No matter what, you should never accept the first offer they bring to you. They always have a little room to wiggle. I had researched their rebates prior to going as well as the KBB on my cars value. So I had an idea of where I was sitting. Jon did an awesome job of making certain that what I told him my bottom number was came out as close as possible. Jon and I agreed to a price and payment and then I was sent to the financial guy Robbie. He was very fast with the paperwork. He was nice, but a little to fast for me. I left very satisfied with my SUV and after getting home I noted a few cosmetic issues. I contacted Non back and he had me drop it off the next day where they completely detailed it inside and out. I also had the pleasure of dealing with Steve. He sat me down and went over the financing line by line to ensure that I was comfortable with the paperwork. He was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Very patient and just topped off an over all positive experience. Hands down, Jon Teal is the best Sales Associate I have had the pleasure of doing business with. He knows his cars, and he truly values his customers. Steve again, supersedes expectations. Having had a poor experience at another dealership, I can say that Jon and Steve made this a perfect experience and my recommendation is that if you need a vehicle see Jon, he truly is in tune with what his customers needs are. I came here because a respected colleague recommended their service department. I experienced a very bad customer service attitude from the service department. I recommend that you don't yawn in the customer's face multiple times while they are describing to you the issue with the car they have brought to you for a service appointment. The gentleman behind the counter informed me that it was just a drop off I replied that I had plenty of time to wait. He showed me that they had two vehicles ahead of me and said there's no guarantee that the vehicle would be seen that day. I don't understand why they have a waiting area if they don't want customers to wait. I said I understood. I told him I was fine waiting. He responded just so you know there's no guarantee that the car would be looked at today. I said that's okay do you have a waiting area. He said five more times there was no guarantee that the car would be looked at today. To which I calmly responded I understand, but I'm going to wait; it was 8:45am, and I could stay until 5 because this is my only vehicle. Then he said just so you can comprehend in your head that there is no guarantee that the car will be looked at today. To which I responded I understand I have plenty to work on and to do. He said again just so you understand that we can't guarantee that the vehicle will be looked at today. I let him have the last word because that's what he wanted. I went to their waiting area and connected to their guest internet and made a service appointment at the other Dodge service department in the Columbia and Lexington area. I then calmly walked out to the same gentleman and asked if I can have my keys to go. He said yes. I then had a five minute wait for him to bring my vehicle from the back of the service department to me. I thanked him no other words were exchanged and I left. You do not need to make me feel insignificant in order for me to understand the vehicle might not be ready or even looked at today. Also, the gentleman repeated what an express oil change service place said to me; it might just be easier to let the vehicle totally break down so that the problem will be easier to diagnose; in other words, don't try preventative maintenance. My Ram truck check engine light came on halfway down from Charlotte. I was coming to Columbia to move my daughter out of her apartment. Four years goes by quick. Anyway, managed to get to the apartment and called JTs. Had trouble getting through, but a couple messages later and I was talking to Kyle in service. I told him of my dilemma and he told me he would look at it if I could get it in. Two jump starts later and I was there. He took my number and texted me when he finished the diagnostics. As I suspected a broken alternator, battery would not charge and would not stay running. Within three hours I was back on he road and he even suggested I check coupons online for a discount. This was my first time going to this dealership. My oil pressure sensor wasn't reading and it made my engine light come on. I had a friend scan it before I took it in, so I already knew what was wrong (I also got an oil change). They were very polite and I even got same day turn around. The problem was the price. 165 labor fee, when I heard the price I had to ask because my bill was astronomically high. I got quoted for about 450, I go to pay and my bill is 521! Very big difference; when I looked up the part it was about $30. I had to look over my receipt because there was just no way. I got charged for labor twice even though I'm pretty positive the same workers who fixed my sensor changed my oil. I don't see why they would charge me twice in a logical sense. Secondly, my oil change was 86 dollars. Maybe for some that price is normal, but normally for my dodge I pay 65 at most. I was surprised to hear my Dodge Dart took 6 quarts of oil when most trucks take that or less. Let's just say great people/ turn around time, but price wise I do not advise. read more

My experience with Chrysler products has been so-so.. My experience with Chrysler customer service has been miserable. My experience with JT's Chrysler has been less than mediocre and closer to miserable. Recap of my experience with Chrysler products, JT's Chrysler and with Chrysler Customer Service. 1. Purchased vehicle in December 2008. This was our fifth Chrysler minivan purchased new in a row. 2. This was during the economic problems of 2008. As an incentive to move vehicles Chrysler offered a Lifetime Max Care warranty. We paid $1,890 for that Chrysler warranty. This was essentially a loan to Chrysler in a time of their need in that they would not have to incur cost to "payback" until years later when the vehicle was out of original warranty. 3. September 27, 2021. Driver window in van broke and would not stay up making van unusable. Tried to schedule online to bring in -. JT's online service system does not work. I called JT's Chrysler to be told that they did not currently use their online system and that they could schedule me for October 16, 2021. There was a recall that needed to be taken care of as well and additional repairs. JT's was told the problem with the van window making the van unusable. JT's made no effort to try to work me in or provide any assistance. 4, Actually told someone the good thing is that I still had a service contract but the bad thing was I had to use the Chrysler dealership to get the repair done. 5. In meantime, needing the van I found a repair shop to fix the window so that the van could be used. Charge for window repair was $473 for a repair that should have been covered and taken care of by the Chrysler dealership. (I am out $473 for a covered repair due to JT' inability and unwillingness to work me in). 6. October 16, 2021. Brought van in to find out from service adviser that the Service Contract was not currently active. Never was able to determine if human clerical error or system error. 7. JT's made it my problem to straighten out with Chrysler. Not once did I feel that JT's went to bat for the customer or use any leverage. Got the opinion that they have no savvy or ability to generate any leverage. Spent quite a bit of time and quite a few phone calls being bounced from one person to another at Chrysler. 8. Service contract finally got reinstated. Monday November 1, JT's finally moves forward with repairing the van. The van sat at the dealership for all this time waiting for authorization and then for parts. 9. November 5, 2021. Wife received voicemail from the parts department that an ordered part was in for the van and that we need to schedule a time with a service adviser to bring it in. Knowing from my experience that right hand did not tell left hand I had to let service adviser know that part was at the dealership. I was correct in that there was no communication between parts dept and service dept. 10. November 9, 2021. The van has been at the dealership for 3 weeks and 3 day. Received a call that Chrysler will not cover a sway bar replacement that had seized/rusted shut and that I need to authorize an additional $292. I asked Justin Goodwien, the service adviser who I needed to talk to discuss why this was not covered. Justin only sent me back to Chrysler Customer Service. 11. For the limited time I had in a 16 minute call - was bounced to (3) different people until I was placed on hold. I had to hang up to take care of another obligation. No satisfaction was received from Chrysler, again. 12. Finally picked up van after (4) weeks and (3) days. I think that this is the worst service I ever received at a car dealership. I am confident in their minds that they blame it on Covid but these were simple repairs. read more

My husband and I bought a truck from this location a little over a year ago and the experience buying the truck was easy and pretty straight forward. They accommodated requests and were open to negotiate. I didn't originally review the dealership because I also like to include the service they provide after you buy their product. The service department is pretty efficient even when they say they do not have any openings. There have been a few times their Saturdays have been completely full online to schedule an appointment and we have dropped the truck off Friday night to try and squeeze it in the next day. There hasn't been one time they haven't been able to get the vehicle in but this has only been for oil changes or simple items. I will say the service techs in the back do seem to be overworked and stressed out. There are never enough of them and they aren't always friendly. Also while the work gets done, this is the only dealership I have had to search through their back lot with my key fob to find my vehicle. They do not bring you your vehicle and they don't know where the auto tech parked it so they point to their back lot and advise you "it's somewhere out there". Not so great on the customer service in that aspect. Overall, we will continue to bring the vehicle for the repairs as the work seems to be good work. read more

Bought a used RAM 1500 from them, so far the vehicle has been ok without any significant issues. They were a little pricey, but that's the market here, is what it is. Granted, the experience took 4 1/2 hours, with about 45-60 minutes making sure we picked the right vehicle. The issues came in shortly after purchasing it though... Tires had lock nuts on them, and I wasn't provided the key. Mistakes happen, so call the sales guy and let him know. I come in, service looks at them and says "we don't have the key for those, and we will most likely damage the after market rims if we take them off, you may have to leave it here for 3-4 days so that we can take our time". Sales guy then comes out and says that they will charge me for new locking nuts, and the labor to remove the old. Now, keep in mind I've had this thing for less than two business days. I then tell them they can take the truck back and i'm all set, will go buy another from elsewhere that isn't a PITA. Then i'm told if I buy the lock nuts, they will replace them w/o cost, but they wont be responsible for damaging the rims. While I was waiting for them to sort that all out, there were 4 different people in line complaining about the 90+ minutes for their "complementary oil change". I received some of those tickets too, but if the consensus is that they take forever, my time is worth more than a free oil change. Really hesitant to bring it in for any work, based on all of these reviews, but am stuck checking with them first because of the warranty. Maybe ill get lucky and not have any issues. Who knows? I ended up just checking around about the lock nuts and found a local shop to do the work for $75 bucks total and they just ordered the right key and took them off normally. What sort of service department doesn't know that they could just order a key and take them off? I feel like it should of been a "whoops, we messed up, let me fix that for you" sort of issue, not a run around. read more

Approximately six weeks ago, I stopped by JTs Chrysler Dodge Jeep to see what they had in stock. I'm currently driving my second Jeep Wrangler and was looking to trade mine in on a 2014. A salesman named Mack approached me and asked if he could help. I said no thank you and that I was just browsing the lot. Obviously I'm a loyal Jeep owner; when I find what I'm looking for, I'd come in and let someone know, right? But he wouldn't leave me alone. You know the type: can't find a real job so he sells cars. We've all seen them and it's the #1 reason I'll only buy from CarMax after this. But please, read on... Eventually he offers to calculate what my trade-in is worth, and thinking that there's no harm in that, I agree to go inside with him. When we sit down, he doesn't ask about make, model or year. He asks my phone number, email, and of all things, my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!!! When I asked what that has to do with my Jeep's trade value, he paints on that fake car salesman smile and says "well, we just like to know who we're dealing with and what brought you in today." I responded with "I'm Captain _____, US Army; and I'm here today to get the trade-in value on my Jeep like you offered outside." He said he'd be right back and got up and walked to the front counter. When he got there, I saw him shaking his head while saying something to the young man seated there, and that guy promptly looked over at me. Take that how you want to; I found it unprofessional. EIGHTEEN minutes went by and he hadn't come back or done anything other than talk to the guy behind the counter, so I finally left. But wait, it gets better... Over the next few weeks, I got several emails from Mack, all of which were full of that over-friendly car salesman persona about how he's here to help, won't rest until I'm happy, bla bla bla. The day I walked out, I went home and used the new car finder feature on my bank's web site. It allows you to enter the specs you are looking for and then it tells you what dealers have anything matching your search and tells you the price. Apparently it also shares your contact info, because my voicemail and email blew up with calls and correspondence from Galeana and...one Brittany Smith from JTs. Initially, I asked Brittany to help me find what I wanted, but when I started getting email after email after email from Mack simultaneously, I stopped answering anything from JTs at all. I have not responded to an email from Brittany in weeks; however, she just called me roughly 35 minutes ago. As soon as she identified herself, I hung up. So she called back. Again and again and again and again. My cell phone's log, which I'm saving in case I need to sue JTs, shows four calls from 4:42 to 4:44pm. On the final call, the side of me that's had three combat deployments kicked in and I answered: "call me again and see what happens! Take a GD hint! If I haven't answered your emails in a month, I don't want to buy from you!" and again, I hung up. Seventeen minutes later, I received an email from her offering to help me with my search for a new car. I almost hope she bothers me again. read more

Took vehicle in for service, form asked if there were any issues. We simply commented the dash made a vibration noise so they charged me $100 without any notification for the "diagnosis". Charged my wife for the oil change and tire rotation that's included w my service plan and after 10 days and multiple attempts to correct they've not called back from voice messages or their text messages to make things right. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE! These people are incredibly rude and lack customer service. Took our Jeep in to check the transmission fluids and turns out we needed it. All they had to do was flush it, change the filter, and put new fluids in it. Then they attempted to charge us $420 for that and didn't charge us for the "diagnostics" which is free ANYWHERE else you go!!!! And then after telling us that, they then told us the back brakes need to be changed and the left wheel bearing needs fixing and that it would be $450 for each break and another $450 for the wheel bearing! So they tried to charge us $1800 for those all of that (if we decided to let them work on it) when we will pay less than $300 else where. And, when we called back to complain about the price, they lowered it by $160. We are grateful for that, but are astounded at how much they tried to overcharge us. We should have listened to everyone else....never take your car into the dealership EVER. And to make it all better, the guy told us to check back in to see if they would finish working on our car before Monday and when we called, the girl was incredibly rude and said she has no way of checking or seeing the status of our vehicle. Customer service sucks they have no remorse, they don't wanna work with you. They mess up transferring all titles and tags we had to go DMV to correct and pay out of pocket to get this corrected. Went back and they still deny everything, now fast forward a year getting new license for South Carolina husband to fine out my husband license was suspended because they fail to notify DMV that we had transferred our tags & titles my husband's license was suspended and we did not know. I told the manager at Dodge that I was going to make a yelp review he said OK that's your problem you do what you need to do. read more

No loyalty/ appreciation here. Previously purchased two vehicles here over the last three years. Looking again and treated poorly. Their too big, only willing to make deals with Big earnings for them. Plenty of other dealerships out there. read more
