A week later we experienced a budget-busting home emergency. I called Al to explain that we wouldn't be able to follow through. He replied: "Well, then. I'll need to return your deposit." He tore up driveway, sidewalk and apron. His guy hit the water line. After that delay after delay. He miscalculated and then asked for thousands to finish the job. I says no he left the driveway tore up for 3wks. Had to hire attorney, get city involved, and job was completed by new contractor. DO NOT USE this guy he makes mistakes and want you to pay to fix them.

However, after discussing saving the old hardware and just using on new door, he only installed the doorknob and not the dead bolt. And on the inside of door frame, there was barely any support for the dead bolt. A little screw holding in the latch. He assured me a few times that he would be back to finish the 20 minute job. Sept. 18th was the last text I got.
