I didnt know which landscaping company to call. I looked them all up and decided on Peters Professional Landscaping. Chris Peters the boss came out and gave me a quote for how much it was 1 day after I called. The prices were great for the quality of their work. They have a great group of guys working for them, some of the best and most professional workers I have ever seen. They really take their time and get the job done right. If you ever need any yard work done be sure to hire Peters professional Landscaping, they are the best in the business!!!!

Once they came out to do the work, the installation went smoothly. Our installation took place in October, so it wasn't until spring 2022 that we really saw results. Our hydroseed came is patchy. They were supposed to come out to inspect the results in May 2022 but never did. Once our 2 Magnolias bloomed, we realized they planted the wrong variety (we specifically requested Alexandrina Magnolias with the pink-purple flowers... what we got had white flowers - our invoice also states Alexandrina Magnolias). They blamed the mistake on their supplier and said they would work to rectify the issue. It's been about 2 months and a few attempts to contact them... no luck. We spent over $8,000 for this crappy service. Stay clear of them!

You know how us guy-types always boast, "Yeah, I could do that mySELF. I just, y'know. Don't have…read morethe time." (What is left unspoken is that, given the time? They wouldn't. Or couldn't. Or would so thoroughly botch the project in question as to render it useless or, worse, merely ugly.) Full disclosure? Yeah, I'm one of those guy-types. When the wooden walk heading up the hill from the house to the barn began its inexorable return to the elements from which it sprung, it was time for something new. Hard-scaping, they call it. Rocks. Slabs of stuff that look like rocks. Many other large, difficult to move things, boulders I guess would be the technical term. Was I gonna do that? Sure. Just give me a half century, I'll have it all set. Country Lawn & Landscape rolled in with heavy and not-really-all-that-heavy equipment, a half dozen strapping lads and moved the old, rotten wood out, and almost as swiftly "hard-scaped" the entire area betwixt house and barn, then gently contoured the remaining borders with flora most grand. Was it near as good as I imagined it could be? Nope. Better. Honestly, it is way better than I thought possible. Reasonably priced, too, for the scope of their efforts. The only tough beat? Everyone, and I really do mean every single visitor to my home asks if I built that. Nope. But I had the courage and was secure enough in my masculinity to hire the guys who did. Okay, it is a LITTLE emasculating, but worth every crestfallen look I've received so far. "There are two spiritual dangers in not owning a farm. One is the danger of supposing that breakfast comes from the grocery, and the other that heat comes from the furnace." -- Aldo Leopold
