They were given the job to install a basic unilock retaining wall and they failed. Its less than 5 years and its already falling apart.I made a payment of $6,000 for this result. Lamplears excuse is that the wall only had a two year guarantee which is ridiculous for this type of work. That was never indicated on their proposal or invoice. Other contractors are already quoting me a 5-10 year guarantee on a new wall in writing. Goes to show you what Lamplears thinks of its own work when it wont back up this after only two years. Dont trust what they tell you. The pictures tell the story. Stay away or you likely will have to pay someone else to clean up their mess. read more

Had front island completely re landscaped last year. Had two new pine trees planted. One looked poor last year and they are supposedly guaranteed. They said they would keep their eye on it throughout the winter and replace in spring if needed. It is needed . They looked at it and said they would take pictures. Now they have not taken pictures and are coming again to take pictures. The tree is dying and it should have been replaced the first thing this spring. I have a business and we guarantee our service and if there is a problem it is resolved immediately. I don't understand their delay!!! read more

Well, it's happened again!! Last Thursday, while they were here cutting the grass, one of the crew, cruising through our yard on his triple bag Scag mower, managed to run into our air conditioner on the side of our house and torqued the frame all out of shape, leaving the air conditioning unit sitting partially off the the base. Cory, the owner, came out this morning and was able to make things right. He suggested that they could place a bell shaped cutout in the ground by cutting out the grass, laying fabric on the soil and filling the area with river rock. That sounds very acceptable to us. read more

This is the company that does the landscaping and snow removal at our condo development. They do a good job with that, better than previous companies for sure. We hired them to removed a bunch of ground cover, perennials, weeks, etc. from our front and side beds, remove a pine tree and put down mulch. Now I'm a picky gardener, and was very impressed on how the crew did their job. They did it exactly how I would have, if I had their strength! Everything was done to the last detail, neatly and as I asked. They cleaned up after themselves very well, and were courteous and professional. Drew, the supervisor, knew his plant names and was good to work with. Kevin, who had come out to give us the quote, was punctual and gave us a good rate for the job. Lamphear's does the lawncare and snow removal for the condo development that we live at in Wadsworth. We wanted to make a few changes in our mulch beds and asked them to meet us and present pricing to do the work. Kkevin met my wife and outlined a scope of work and then just the day before we were to have the work done, we added additional items to the list that they were more than glad to accommodate. Well of course mother nature decided to take matters into her own hands and while the work was under way she drenched the crew. Well the very next day they were back at it and allowed us to make one more small change. When all is said and done my wife and I could not be more pleased with the results. Starting with Kevin who met us in the beginning, to his crew leader Dominic, they did a great job and the guys on the crew were professional and very friendly.
