Not being able to find that, I just started to look at what every aisle had with their signs. I eventually did find everything I was looking for. I then made my way to the self checkouts to get myself out of the store. There was a bit of the line but it moved fairly quickly. With all my items secured and paid for I made my way back outside to continue my day.

Larger stores can mean items you may not find in all stores. I got what I needed and $140 later I was done. I also know some of these groceries will be going back to Baltimore with me. In this age of Bidenflation, I'm grateful for Aldi. My home for everyday essential items. And, the staff is friendly enough as their display the spirit of the Eastern Shore. Stop by en route to the beach. It's right off EB 50 and six miles outside OC. If you're heading to north OC, get there by going WB on 50 and turn right on Racetrack Rd and follow to 90. So easy.

The layout here is the same as just about every other ALDI I've shopped - dry goods, produce, frozen, beer and wine. Prices were clearly marked and they're great. Like other ALDI stores, you need to bring your own shopping bags or buy them at the register. You can also take their cardboard boxes if that's your preference. First off, yeah, they know lots of folks are going to want alcohol, and I think half of the aisle endcaps displayed something alcoholic. While they had a lot of classic and domestic products, they do offer a decent amount of local beer, wine, and pre-mixed cocktails (even though the Untappd app said the local beer I was looking for wasn't sold anywhere in a 25 mile radius, Island Foods had it!). We came the week of Pony Penning, and the store makes a couple dozen cakes (see picture) to celebrate the occasion. The produce aisle is small, but they have enough that you could get a decent variety of fruits and vegetables for your stay. There's a pretty decent selection of meats here. I don't remember seeing too much non-frozen seafood, but I imagine it's hard to compete with the fresh catch with specialty fish markets on the island. I was pleasantly surprised to find several Gardein products, which meant vegetarian Child #1 could have some imitation meats and seafood if he wanted a protein similar to what the rest of his omnivorous family would get. Things are pricey. Inflation's here to stay and it's a touristy beach town. Considering that, it's not too bad. The folks at the register were very friendly. Whatever foodstuffs you're looking for, it's a good bet that Island Foods has it.
