Excellent cheese steaks in fact probably the best in OC. Ordered clam strips today via Door Dash and the food was absolutely awful. Bottom of the bag strips with awful lousy greasy French fries. First complaint I've had with them. So disappointing.

Stopped here late night for a sandwich before heading back to sleep, and since my first trip here in 2005 for senior week the inside has been cleaned up, but the food is still strong and manageable. First off they are open 24/7- so you'll see people coming in and out throughout the day and night. Back in 2005, the place was white with a white and blue sign - now there are burgundy signs and green neon. Definitely a hole in the wall there is a nice slew and selection of alcohol drinks, 30s, 40s, and then the lunch counter. They have renovated with a laminate flooring- place is way brighter and clean. Greg and I ordered a steak sandwich which wasn't too bad - but the steak had little flavoring. Next time I'll try something else but the convenience of this spot is great

Both husband and wife team (guessing, sorry if you're siblings lol) were very awesome people. FYI, my friend did finish his in case you were wondering! We were too full to walk back and let ya'll know! Until next time....

An excellent hand crafted made with love, turkey sandwich. Fries on the side as well. Props to the chef

Best cheesesteak in Ocean City. Their gyros are really great too. On top of that, they're the nicest couple you'll ever meet.

Equal parts package store and legendary deli counter, Anthony's is an iconic OCMD staple that has perfected the art of beach lunches. History & Ownership Year Opened: The original property traces back to right after WWII as a drive-up stand and fried chicken carryout. The family bought the business in 1965, gradually expanding to add wine in 1970 and merging the store concept in 1982. The Full Deli Debut: In 1987, Anthony's officially expanded into a full-scale deli, which quickly became as famous as its liquor selection. Ownership: Operated as a beloved family-owned business for over 55 years. Awards & Local Acclaim Anthony's frequently earns local accolades--including Best Subs and Best Carryout honors--thanks to its commitment to quality. Rather than skimping on fillings, they load their sandwiches with premium Boar's Head and Citterio meats, freshly sliced cheeses, and house-made salads. The Sandwiches & Fan Favorites Anthony's sandwiches are renowned for their staggering portions. The 12-inch hoagies are packed with over a half-pound of meat and cheese on freshly baked rolls. The Shrimper: A massive sub loaded with house-made Maryland-style shrimp salad, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The Nautilus: A gourmet Italian sub layered with mortadella (with pistachio), prosciutto, sopressata, and provolone. House-Cooked Roast Beef: Tender, rare roast beef sliced thin--a staple that locals swear by. The Flagship: The Crown Jewel If you only order one sub on your trip, make it The Flagship. The Flagship Sub Over 1/2 lb of Genoa salami, capicola ham, pepper ham, and sharp provolone cheese. Shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onions, and spicy hot peppers. Dressed with olive oil, red wine vinegar, and oregano on a 12" freshly baked hoagie roll. It's the quintessential Italian cold-cut sub--salty, tangy, slightly spicy, and sturdy enough to hold up in your beach cooler all afternoon. Pro Tip for Beachgoers When heading to the beach or driving back home, ask the deli staff to assemble your sandwich "semi-deconstructed" (with oil, vinegar, and tomatoes on the side). Your roll won't get soggy, making it taste just as fresh hours later.

The portion size was definitely generous and well worth the price. The sandwich was packed with ingredients--almost a little too packed for my preference. It actually took me several minutes to figure out how to take the first bite, and by the time I got to the middle, the sandwich had fallen apart and became pretty messy to eat. I picked it up around 8 p.m. after work, ate half that evening, and saved the rest for the next day. After eating it, both my partner and I experienced stomach issues. While I can't say for certain what caused it, it was disappointing and unfortunately left me hesitant to return. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews or hurting small businesses, especially since I know how much hard work goes into them. I simply wanted to share my honest experience. The presentation, portion size, and value were great, but based on my experience, I don't think I'll be back.

The Greek salad and Margherita pizza is our go to, but we have had their cheesesteak subs, lasagna, and their various assortments of desserts. Ripieno's special-brew chai iced tea is something else that has always kept us coming back. That is until today. While the pizza and salad were still very good, they weren't as outstanding as they have been in the past. Customer service is not the same as it once was. When we ordered the chai tea, this evening, no orange and lemon slices were offered. As we were dining outside, I walked in to ask if they had orange and lemon slices for the iced-tea available. The cashier first seemed as though he didn't see me, and then when i caught his attention and asked about the slices of orange and lemon for the tea, he looked at me as if he didn't not know what I was talking about. I looked at the girl behind the counter that walked over with the salad dressing that had not been delivered with our salads and asked her about the fruit. She looked confused as well and said they didn't have any. The iced-tea on its own is very good, but the slices of orange and lemon really make it great! Back to the food...when our pizza was brought to the table, the gentleman that delivered it, (I think he may have been attending the wood-fire oven) threw our paper plates on the table. Next came the Greek salads. We were short two sets of silverware which was noticed by the second server. She said she would return with silverware, but didn't. So, I went back inside and asked for the two sets of silverware we needed. I was asked if I wanted plastic. I responded that I would prefer metal silverware. The girl disappeared and returned several minutes later with the silverware. I realize it is the busy season, but the restaurant was not busy. We've been during the busy season and in the off season and have always had wonderful experiences. I am truly hoping that this was a one-time thing, and that Ripieno's will return to the same familiar place we used to love to go.
