Paid a premium to get my backyard done. Sprinkler positioning does not adequately cover the grass, so there's large areas where it died. In another section, the sprinklers dont come up at all because theres too many on one valve. Very disappointed in my backyard. Had my yard cleaned and grass cut for the first time in months. I planted need grass 10 weeks ago. Was waiting for the right time. I selected This company because they were quick to respond and very proactive in communication. They came Wednesday which was same day to quote me free estimate. They did accommodate me for today Friday which was two days later. I was very grateful. Abel came out and did an excellent job in cleaning up all the leaves and trimming. He cut my grass for the first time and I'm very happy. It's green and better than I expected. He did warn me it wouldn't look the best in cut as it's still new grass but he assured me it would be clean and down right. Abel also did my back patio and it too was long. My grass was easily 8-10 inches long after seeding. I'm so happy with the result. I recommend them for their services. Vicky was also here to oversee all was done right. We we're looking to have both our front and back yard's landscaping completely re-done. We did our research with about five landscaping service and we chose Juan's because of their responsiveness and their price. Vicky was great from our first interaction. She's very professional and quick to return calls and text messages. They also came in well below costs the other landscapers bids. We discussed what we're looking for and planned out the complete overhaul. Juan and his crew showed up on Tuesday as scheduled and on time and immediately began working on cleaning up the backyard and tilling the soil. They were done in a day with the cleanup and trenching. They came back the next day and began laying out the new irrigation. This also took about a day, day and a half. We had all of the valves installed in the front yard by the back fence so our dogs wouldn't mess with the valves. They did a nice job of placing them allowing for adding valves for the front yard. They were back on Saturday to lay the sod. They were done by about 3 pm. Wow!! The back yard looks great! We love it and so do our pups. We held off doing the front yard for a couple of weeks, but worked with Juan and Vicky and got it scheduled. I won't write everything out for the front yard because it mirrored the process and time for the backyard. Juan and his team are now our regular landscaper and comes out each week to keep our lawns and garden looking great. Juan Landscaping is the company you want to work on your yard. We asked for them to put in new grass for our very large back yard. It needed to be tilled and leveled before the grass could be put in. They gave us an excellent and very competitive quote compared to a few other companies and were so pleased. Not only are their prices fair, they also worked really hard to get us the look we wanted and the grass to be put in well and professionally. We also requested they put in a new sprinkler system with a timer, which they did and we're very happy with. They also did it quickly and thoroughly. Our yard looks amazing now, and our kids are enjoying it. We will continue using Juan Landscaping for maintenance and will consider them for whatever projects we may have in the future. I called and scheduled a date for the quote, and Juan's wife Viki texted me to reschedule due to "emergency". And I said ok and asked what time, then no response. I texted the wife again to confirm, she finally responded. After the wife came and gave me a quote, I asked when can Juan come to do the job, she said probably next Thursday and she needs to check with Juan. The next day, I asked her to confirm, again, she never respond to you. after couple attempts, she responded and gave another excuse for not responding. Moreover, she postponed the job schedule again. And I kept texting her to confirm an exact day and time. Back and forth for a week, she asked me to send her pictures of my lawn which she forgot to take and needs to show her workers. Then I did it and sent to her, at last, she texted me that her husband Juan could not come. This whole damn communication continued from 10/3/22 to 10/14/22, and at the end, she said Juan couldn't come. Very unprofessional people. If I can give zero star, I would. While they did a good job for the initial cleanup of my front and backyard, they became very unreliable when it came to regular yard maintenance. Even after letting me know that her husband wouldn't be available to do my Regular maintenance because her husband was out of town for his sick brother (which I completely understood) Vicky expected full payment for a month when a full service wasn't done. Then when I called her on it, she tried to say they had come, yet EVERY time they come she will send me a text, and of course didn't the time she "says" they tried to come (plus I work from home so no one came) once I called her on that she didn't even make an effort to attempt to have her husband come, despite telling me earlier that day he would. Considering they might be busy, I accepted this change. However, they never showed up on the time we had decided. I usually take care of my own yards but when we babysat out daughters Great Dane two times for a period of one week at a time, my yard was destroyed. She dug up so much of the two back yards and being a female dog, every blade of grass that she peed on died. I tried aerating and reseeding myself but it just kept dying. I looked on Yelp and found great reviews for Juan Landscape. I called and Juan's wife Victoria came out to see the yards and give me some suggestions and a bid. She said that they would not have to tear out all of the yards but would remove the damaged areas, till the soil and put down new sod. They arrived on time and worked really hard each day that they were there. They even cut into my sprinkler line and added one additional sprinkler head because what was there was missing a large spot. I didn't even ask them to to that but they wanted their work to survive.
