I had a last minute epiphany in the late morning to send flowers to 2 special people in Hercules. I called to ask about delivery limits and pricing. When I mentioned that the arrangements were going to Hercules the lady on the phone said that if i could place the order by noon, the flowers would arrive in the PM. They had a delivery scheduled nearby later that day. I drove to the store front, picked out 2 arrangements and paid. The final products arrived by 4pm and were beautiful. I live in Arizona and have family in San Pablo, CA. I'm grateful that I found Juanita's family-owned business because they answered the phone, took my order, and delivered a gorgeous arrangement to a family member the next day and right on time. I prefer to talk to a person who works at a business so I can get personal service. Juanita's Flower Shop picked up the phone on a Saturday about an hour before closing and their employee was happy to take my order for a Sunday delivery. I stopped using toll-free numbers for florists and those who use call centers because the service has been universally poor in every way. One example of poor service from a toll-free number florist is that the arrangements were not as fresh as they should have been. And the flowers were left on the doorstep with no attempt to contact the occupant of the home. I highly recommend Juanita's. read more

I needed a garland for my daughter's graduation and was in a rush. I called Juanita's Flower Shop, and they were able to accommodate me for same-day service. It wasn't cheap, but I had no other option. They only had white petals available, so I didn't have much choice. When I arrived to pick up the garland, the staff were very friendly, and the store was filled with beautiful flower arrangements. However, the garland, being all white, didn't look as fresh and pretty as I'd hoped. Despite that, I'm sure they do great work based on the pretty arrangements in the shop, and the accommodating staff were a definite plus. read more

I found Juanita's as I was looking for a place to purchase Mother's Day Flowers. Prior to coming in to the store, I messaged the store on Instagram to show them which arrangement I wanted. The store let me know that they no longer had orange roses, so I went in person to decide a replacement color. After speaking with the florist, we decided on red and yellow roses. However, I was disappointed after receiving the bouquet as the wrapping, butterfly, and side flowers (which were yellow in the reference photo from their Instagram) turned out completely differently. When I received the flowers, I pointed out that the wrapping paper was different, but the florist just responded that they ran out of the mesh blue wrapping in the morning, which is why they replaced it with paper wrapping for my bouquet. With that being said, I really wished that they could have just told me prior to making the flowers what they had to replace because I'm very disappointed in how different the flowers turned out. Additionally, I would have chosen to purchase another bouquet if I knew they no longer had the mesh wrapping since I the mesh wrapping is what made the bouquet I wanted uniquely different from the other bouquets they had. These flowers were $150, so I'm really sad that they didn't turn out how I imagined. On the other hand, the bouquet that I received is decent, just really not what I wanted. read more
