I really wanted to use your florist. Having grown up in Richmond, and raised my family there. I remembered this florist from growing up. So I went on line after looking at FTD and decided to try locally. I was disappointed to see the prices where as much as 22% higher than other FTD florist. I'm not sure why. read more

I came in today to purchase some carnations and am very happy I did. I've never been here before but I was referred to this place by Stems & Pedals in Pinole. I came to Richmond only after the Pinole establishment didn't carry any carnations. After purchasing the flowers I had an interesting conversation with the owner(s). His family has been in business I believe 100 years. There is a lot of history here. He has a colorful background and is a very approachable fellow. The service was really good. Worth returning to. The service was very early in the morning so when the florist I was almost all set up to proceed with told me they could not guarantee on time delivery. She happens to share a birthday weekend with Christmas weekend, and I wanted to do something extra special for her. This floral shop has the best reviews in the area, and I can see why! The attention to detail is impeccable. My BFF absolutely LOVED her gift! And I'm so glad they didn't make it look "Christmasy." We were referred to Park Florist by St. Joseph Cemetery and Funeral Home. I am thankful for both Lynda and team at St. Joseph as well as the team at Park florists. They made ordering flowers for the service seamless during such a stressful time and especially during the pandemic. My grandmother's service started at 9:00am at St. Joseph. Since I sent the Park Florist link to our families I knew there might be a few more additional arrangements coming in addition to the two our family ordered. I was a little worried with so many large arrangements the flowers wouldn't arrive on time. However, when I arrived at the chapel I was surprised to see 8 other beautiful arrangements set up alongside the 2 my family ordered. The flowers were full and fresh. They truly brought brought a glimpse of happiness on our sad day and reminded us of how much our grandmother was loved by everyone. Like someone else mentioned, the pictures of bouquets online are the same in person. Danny was very helpful in creating a casket spray for us. I brought them a photo of a specific style (succulent themed) that was not a typical funeral option. Danny was supportive and got straight to work on sourcing the plants in time for the service. I was worried that a florist would want to stick with the tried and true, but Danny and team embraced the challenge and delivered an arrangement that was exactly the look and feel we had asked for. I wanted to love this florist but alas, the experience was less than spectacular! The staff themselves seem really friendly, but the communication just needs a smidge of improvement. I ordered flowers on 5/10 via their online portal. The UI of the website is lovely and the photos of bouquets are gorgeous. It was simple and straightforward to provide all my information + the recipient's, and to check out. I left my phone number but I think I forgot to opt in to updates because the website said something like "opt into delivery updates AND special promotions." I don't live nearby so I didn't need promotions and assumed that perhaps they'd update via email like most vendors do. I chose the fiesta bouquet and paid about $95 dollars total, and clicked same day delivery. I got my receipt promptly. The entire day goes by and I realize around 11 PM that my friend never texted me saying she got the flowers. While they were a surprise, I did sign my name so I was curious as to why she didn't reach out. I called the next day, 5/11, and a very cordial guy answered the phone. He spoke with his driver and told me the driver had issues getting into the gate (I did provide a gate code and a phone number), but I guess my friend didn't answer the phone. They apologized and said they would try again that day, 5/11 and I reconfirmed all the delivery information as well as gate code, and phone numbers. Come 5/12, I corner my friend and say "Did anything show up?" And she laughed and said she got a bouquet of flowers and the card said "Happy Birthday Angel." NOT what I ordered, LOL. I called Park Florist back around 9AM and a new guy answered, apologized, said he would investigate, and call me back to tell me what happened. I never got a call back, and so I called around 4PM that day - 2 times - no one picked up :( I feel bad for FOUR parties now: 1) The person who ordered that birthday bouquet undoubtedly didn't receive theirs 2) The person whose birthday it was must've been confused 3) Me, because I wasted my time and money 4) my friend because she didn't get the bouquet I had requested. Would love a refund or at the very least a delivery of the correct bouquet, but alas! Can't get a hold of them. read more

First of all, I did not get any texts that my arrangement was delivered. I only found out when my friend texted me & said she had received it. Secondly, she sent a picture, and it looked nothing like what the description stated. I paid extra for the largest arrangement, but there was only one flower that I could see, and a few plants. I've used this place a few times and this is the second time they let me down. I typically order things for Mother's Day (for my in-law and my mom) and the first time one of the orders was messed up. Today (Mexican Mother's Day) i placed an order for two bouquets and only one was delivered. I called and apparently the number they have isn't for their location. It gets rerouted to the Bloom nation customer service. It's upsetting because I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt the first time. They provided funeral flowers recently. - minus 1 star: The arrangement I ordered for the service was not anything like the picture/item number in the teleflora book I selected from. And for what I paid for it, it did not contain the higher value flowers it was supposed to (Cymbidium Orchids), just a couple flimsy dendrobiums, nor was it anywhere near the shape or modern style it was supposed to be from the picture. Consider ordering basic designs from this business as the more complicated ones - minus 1 star: The colors for all of the arrangements were similar, so they at least didn't clash with each other. However, the colors used did not represent what was asked of them. I understand having to substitute one type of flower for another, esp when asking for specific colors, but when the color balance is totally off from what was asked of them, it is disappointing. They could have reached out with questions. - plus 3 stars: the rest of the arrangements appeared fairly close to the picture of the designs that were selected. The flowers were at least quite fresh and the arrangements taken home lasted well. read more

My dad passed away last month and I ordered flowers for my mom with guaranteed Valentines Day delivery to try to cheer her up on her first Valentine's Day alone in 42 years. They never arrived. I called you guys at 1:45pm yesterday and was told they were on a vehicle and would be delivered soon. From that point on every time I tried to call, I reached the virtual phone operators you have outsourced who are in a different part of the country. I've wasted 3 hours on the phone between Park Florist outsourced phone support, and the support for Teleflora.com who I ordered through. This has been one horrible, painful, experience. I have received some of the most amazing flowers I've ever gotten from this florist. I didn't hesitate to order from here when I wanted to lift the spirits of my aunt who is going through a rough time. To say this has been a terrible experience is an understatement. First off, the flowers they delivered were absolute trash. They looked like flowers safeway sells for $6 the day before they throw them out. They were half dead, and almost none of the flowers pictured in the advertisement were even in the arrangement. When my aunt received them and posted a photo on facebook I was completely embarrassed by what she got. I sent an email in with a photo of the flowers she got and compared them with the photo of the ones we ordered. The next day I got a call from Danny who was absolutely amazing and I couldn't be more appreciative of his services. He apologized and agreed with me that what we got was not what we ordered. We arranged for a new bouquet to be sent out.(He even text me a photo of the new flowers before they went out and they were gorgeous) unfortunately because of a family emergency we ran into some issues with delivery the following day and decided we would wait until Saturday. Hello Saturday. No flowers. I call around 3:30 to find out when they will be going and they tell me they don't have any order for me. ...I'm sorry, after 8 phone calls with Danny no one even bothered to call and tell me they weren't sending anything out? I asked if I could come pick up the flowers instead. she says "Oh we don't have them any more because we tried to deliver them and no one was home" so not only did they not tell me they weren't delivering, they failed to let me know they gave my flowers to someone else.
