Lisa is Amazing!!! Book her as your florist, you will NOT be disappointed. From the moment I started working with Lisa, she was always very responsive. If I had any questions I could reach out to her and get a response in a short amount of time. As far as our budget, Lisa helped us stay within our limits without taking away from the florals. In total we had my bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmaids bouquets, 14 boutonnières, 4 corsages, 2 ceremony arrangements, and 22 centerpieces (13 in urns and 9 oblong centerpieces). So it was quite a few items! I ended up having to add a few extra tables last minute and Lisa was able to add the extra centerpieces on such short notice. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away on how beautiful the florals looked and how much they elevated the space. Lisa took the images I gave her and ran with them. She exceeded our expectations!! At the end of the night our guest took ALL the centerpieces home. I did some research and found that Lisa had previously provided florals at our venue. That was key knowing she knew the logistical aspects of the space. She took the time to review all the photos of the look I was going for and provided feedback. She agreed to use vases I purchased so that the guest could take the center pieces home at the end of the night. I requested a classic white and greenery look for our wedding day. In total we ordered a bridal bouquet, 4 boutonnieres, two flower stands (1) 5ft and (1) 6ft, welcome sign arrangement, 8 floral centerpiece arrangements, 8 Italian Ruscus to accommodate our candle cylinders, sweetheart table centerpiece and florals for our cake. For the upcoming bride: You should definitely look into Lisa and her work with Floralisa. She really hit the nail with price and quality when I chose her as my florist for my wedding back in November. My initial consultation with Lisa was way early before my wedding, I think I had only picked my venue and wedding colors at this point, so we were very limited in planning. But even being so early on in planning, I felt she already knew which direction I wanted my floral arrangements to look like. Lisa listened to what I wanted and then used her creativity to have a rough draft of my whole wedding! I think the most nerve racking part is getting that initial estimate- after meeting with her, she got her estimate to me very quickly and then to my surprise she had the best pricing for the flowers I wanted after meeting with several other florists. (My flowers were mainly orchids, hydrangeas, roses, and lilies- I was actually not a fan of the lilies at first, but I decided to trust her instinct and I'm glad I did- she really makes everything look amazing together! ) As soon as she sent me her estimate I knew I was getting the best quality at a great price and reserved my spot on her calendar! Our communication was mainly email and from the time we met up until the week of the wedding she was in close contact, emailing me either the day of or the next. As my planning progressed and more ideas came up through Pinterest, it wasn't long before I felt I was bombarding her with emails about possible changes to our initial draft, but she completely understood and always offered her creative opinion. I realized the flowers really play a huge part in setting the mood for the wedding. Were the colors going to match my bridesmaid dresses or the linens- even though I sent her swatches? Being able to think outside the box is what sets Lisa apart from other florists I interviewed. I had a certain price point in mind that I wanted to spend on my centerpieces. Of all the florists I spoke with, Lisa was the only one who had the brilliant suggestion of doing a mix of some fancier centerpieces with some simpler ones. Lisa of Floralisa was the perfect floral specialist for our wedding. I was immediately drawn to the bouquets and centerpieces I saw on her website--- they looked modern and unique. My vision for the wedding included floral arrangements with pops of peaches, corals, pinks, and hints of gold. I love big, wild-looking flowers with a rustic feel. She was able to turn my abstract wishes into real flowers, beautifully arranged.
