I'm writing mostly to express my confusion on all of the good reviews. Was I just a one off? I have no doubt that this company can provide quality service, but that was unfortunately not what I received. First and foremost the communication between this company's manager was clear and timely and I have no complaints there. He went above and beyond answering all of my questions beforehand in the most respectful manner. Communication along with the professionalism of the website are why I chose this company. There really were no issues until after the cleaning and I did my own inspection only to find that there were SO MANY spots missed and left dirty. Their policy states that their team can come back within 3 days and clean areas that were missed but there were so many and it just felt easier and faster to clean everything myself instead of trying to coordinate another day and time for them to come back and clean things that should've been cleaned the first time around. This was the most annoying part; after a 'deep clean', I spent more time doing my own deep clean. It just defeated the whole purpose of paying for this service. Anyway, I texted the manager the pictures and he offered a $50 discount. This whole experience was just so disappointing and I feel like I wasted money. read more

Tried Juanita's house cleaning twice but not worth the poor customer service from Danny the owners son. Very difficult to make an appointment with him. He says to give him at least a week's notice and will be no problem in scheduling a cleaning. I call more than a week out and I'm always told either: " I'm working on the schedule I'll call you back (then doesn't call back), let me check with my mom Juanita to see if it's ok") Pretty lame way of scheduling. Or eventually gives you a day you didn't request therefore poor understanding of the customer needs. On the first cleaning the ladies that came over broke an automatic toilet. I called Danny to tell him about it but didn't care and all he said was "sorry"! So not worth the average cleaning job. Cannot recommend Juanita's House Cleaning had to find a new cleaning service. read more

When the crew descended upon my house right before Thanksgiving I was so excited for the results. The crew of 3 were AMAZING! Communicating with Danny to settle on pricing was easy and I appreciated his fast responses to my text messages. Getting on their regular rotation every 2 weeks was a no brainer. I have been a regular client of Juanita's Cleaning Service for almost 3 years, which I think speaks volumes. I have a standing appointment every four weeks. Danny texts me a week ahead to remind me. They always arrive right on time and immediately get to it. They work quickly and very efficiently, very little, if any, chit chat. They bring their own cleaning equipment and products. The kitchen and bathrooms sparkle which is important to me. They have never once let me down. On the very few occasions I have had to reschedule it's always been done without any hassle. Good cleaning company but the fees and policies are a pain. Scheduling is also a pain. I've only been with them since Q4 2020 but the interactions hasn't been fun. This is a family company where the son, Danny, manages the text responses and would have to wait (1/2-a day) for his mom, Juanita, to confirm times and dates. When they're late, there's no notification. Policies aren't communicated or posted to the consumers, but are relayed via text whenever issue arises: -When I had to re-schedule an appointment to the following week I was told I'd be charged a $60 additional late fee. I wasn't aware of that. I'm just learning about it today, when I've asked for a list of their policies and fees many times. They'll charged you $60 more for first first time you rescheduling. After that they'll charge you the next pay rate (ie. Weekly cleaning will be charged monthly and monthly cleaning will be charged initial cleaning fee). -If you miss an appointment or are late by a couple days for a cleaning appointment, there's fees associated. I thought this was a bit strict becuase I was reaching out to reschedule days in advance, giving them proper time to accommodate schedules on both end. "Regarding the additional charge, the rate that we offer our customers is for the frequency of our service. That's why we offer three routine rates: weekly, every other week, and monthly. Whenever a weekly customer skips a week for example, then we would have to charge them the every other week rate. Same goes for our every other week customers - if they skip an appointment, we would have to charge the monthly rate. And our monthly customers, if they miss their appointment, we would have to charge the Initial Cleaning rate. " -There's a 3 day guarantee policy that I have 3 days to tell them if something is wrong. Well, this month's cleaning was on Monday and I noticed that they didn't clean the baseboards around my house but didn't have time to take pictures, and text the pictures and details until today (a day late) and they won't come back to clean. -you need to check their cleaning instead of trusting that it's cleaned. After I did the initial cleaning and paying $225, I noticed that a lot of places weren't cleaned so I contacted them. Price wise: this company is on the more expensive side.
