Marvin has been a great help cleaning my home as I get ready for the Lunar New Year while dealing with my medical issues. I'm glad he's very flexible around my schedule as I'm always in the doctor's office. His team of (3) arrived in the window given and he even texts me when he's on the way, which is great so I could put away my medication and pet stuff. His team were very friendly and got to meet my sociable pup so she can be calm while they do their work in the home. Communication started off great when I was looking into booking. Then booked for the next day at 3pm for a deep clean of my house. At 2:55 I get a text that say hello we fell behind at another house so we won't be to you until 4 ..... 5 minutes before there were originally supposed to be here. I asked why I wasn't notified before 5 minutes before they didn't answer but to say they got busy but never apologized. 10 min before 4 when they said they were going to be here after the delay I texted and said Will you be here at 4? They didn't answer. I texted again at 4:01 already late no answer. So now they just ghosted me . I called at 4:10 they didn't answer. Then received a text at 4:15 saying "it will take me 46 min to get to you do you still want me to come?" That would make them 2 hours late . Tardiness: the cleaning ladies were 30 min late but Marvin the owner did text updates on their expected arrival. I suspect they may have had a transportation issue Professionalism: I appreciated that the cleaners were not talking on their phones or to each other, just cleaning. 1 of 2 spoke English. Cleaning: 2 ladies fiinished 2 small bedrooms, 2 small bathrooms both with bathtubs made sparkling white, swifterred walls, actually wiped down ceiling fans and the cabinet surfaces in the kitchen. I purposefully had them skip the fridge and oven so they can focus on deep cleaning one of the small bedrooms (10x10 w zero furniture) vacated by a tenant. I had to cue the lady to actually wipe down the obvious sciuff marks on the bedroom wall with my own Magic Etaser. They were ready to leave without cleaning the 2nd also small bedroom (10x10)) but after speaking to their boss Marvin it was begrudgingly done since they were determined to meet this 3 hr deadline that's been mentioned in most of the reviews. I was partially accountable because texting back n forth I neglected to copy n paste my entire original yelp request so there had been misunderstanding there. It was awkward since the English speaking lady argued about the request but really, considering the $200 price the small size of the room and what was required to count as clean (wipe a desk, vacuum & mop hardwood floor, wipe a ceiling fan , mop /-a 20 min task and don't forget I cleaned my own fridge and oven) she shouldn't have been hostile. The company's flat rate is $200-250 as mentioned on the reviews. I was quoted the low end $200 I thought because I cleaned my own fridge and oven. To keep good relations I tipped each lady $20 so at least they got $240 total since I was willing to give them the business on a monthly basis. Overall they still finished in under 4 hours. Products: whatever they used made my bathtubs white again and outside of silver fridge fingerprint free Communication: Was slow to respond to the Yelp bid--couple days. Marvin the apparent lead was pleasant and easy to talk to whenever he was reachable by text. I tried yelp message that usually took him couple days. He was fast to respond when I asked if he would entertain a lower price if I hired them monthly for mailntenance-- it was not negotiable. I still tried to hire them at their full rate by text and yelp messages, zero response even if I asked for just a yes or no so I can give to other companies. Ease of payment: easy with Zelle I think this company has the potential to be great if they maybe had more employees to man the phone or to send to customers. In time, the cleaning ladies should be taught to just put their manager on the phone if they feel like they're being asked to do more than the contracted job instead of arguing. I did appreciate their speed at cleaning so they're not in my house all day but they are dead set on that time and so that means not as deep of a cleaning since my guests later on remarked on the dirty window sills in my living room. I think they're more likely to take jobs in apartments (see reviews) since that's easier than a house. Update: Great the first few times (did break two screens washing windows but I just wrote it off as "stuff happens"). But as the months went on communication and quality of work went down. They were NEVER on time for an appointment (sometimes up to an hour early but mostly over an hour late) normally it's no big deal for me but the problem was the lack of communication letting us know the status of arrival. My husband works from home and we have a special needs adult son so we have to arrange our schedule around appointments. When time changes happen without contacting us it throws our entire day off and frankly just very unprofessional IMO. As far as the quality of work, they would clean our entire house (1600 sq. Ft Ranch) in less than an hour! I honestly did have to go back over a lot of their work after they left (especially the floors). I might be a lil bit of a "clean freak" and they just don't do as through of a job as I do but still to clean an entire house in less than an hour, it's just not going to be done up to most people's standards. I hope by writing this review they make some professional improvements since I know they are a fairly new business and I do see potential for them in the future if they make some changes. read more

I just used Centenos for the first time. I've used other cleaning services in the past but haven't had my apartment professionally cleaned in over a year due to the pandemic. I was looking for an efficient service who could give me a deeper clean after a year of my own half assed work. Centenos was awesome! Got a great quote for a deep cleaning of the bathroom and kitchen and a regular clean on the rest of the house. They did not arrive on time but they did such an amazing job, it was absolutely worth the wait! Marvin arrived with two employees and they worked miracles with some tough hard water stains in the bathroom and cleaned the kitchen (including the inside of the oven) brilliantly clean.
