KK was suppose to do my facial, but wasn't available so CiCi (or spelt CeCe) took care of me instead. Yo! The facial hurt like hell! Had me tearing up, lol. It was painful, but my face felt so nice and clean afterwards! CiCI was very nice and sweet. She was honest and very knowledgeable. She showed me the paper with my ugly pores and gunk, lol. It was disgusting. We even joked around a bit too! I have a lot of tattoos and I mentioned how the facial hurts more than getting a tattoo, lol. But the massage was very comfortable and relaxing. The entire process was overall excellent and I enjoyed it. I caught myself dozing off a few times. Yes, my face was red after but also glowing. CiCi also said that I have some skin tags she can pluck or laser them off next time. She mentioned there is numbing cream which I'll probably need. I heard it's painful, lol. I'm scared. She would give you suggestions of improving your skin conditions and not try to sell you any products like most salons do. The store is located on 8th street between Franklin and Broadway. You can take BART which is only 3 blocks away or park across the street (two public parking lots: the one closest to the store only costs $2 for any length of time if you park there after 3pm; the second one which is on 8th street and Broadway is $3 on weekends). Street parking on 8th street is 1 hour maximum for $2. Last reminder--the decor of the place is very minimal. It's definitely not a fancy place from the appearance but the service is worth of every of your penny.
