Wife and I's go to donut shop when we are craving something sweet on the weekend. The Maple Bacon Donut is my absolute favorite. The staff is always so nice, friendly and patient, especially when I do bigger orders and take a little more time. It's a small place with some seating and a good selection of drinks. It's a hit and miss here. I usually come just for the donut holes for my kiddos and it's good, but today I got some donut holes, original glazed, and a hello kitty one (stale by the way). I'm sorry but it tasted like fabuloso (purple one.)I know they use it to clean their floors because I smell it once I walk in, those donuts absorbed all that strong chemical smell and tasted like it. I had to spit it out. My kids also said the same. To make sure I wasn't tripping I asked my next door neighbors to try the donut holes and they also agreed that it tasted like fabuloso. Pretty standard setup for Judy's donut. There are lots of choices of regular donuts plus very cool specialty donuts. But the staff member who helped me was quite rude and overcharged me for my donuts. I bought 16 donuts and was charged for 18. I did not notice until I was already at home. Great customer service! The place itself was clean! Donuts are always fresh and yummy. I went in on Sunday afternoon with my little baby, who was asleep in her car seat. The gal behind the counter was super sweet and offered to help me with my donuts as I was holding my baby in her carseat. Although she didn't have to, It was very sweet of her to offer. Everything in the shop was really cute. The creativity of the donuts was really great. The donuts were beautiful such a large variety. I got a breakfast croissant with ham eggs cheese and bacon. I could totally tell it had been sitting there for a while. Even reheated the sandwich tasted a little old. I also got a maple bar, a Maple donut with bacon, a strawberry whip cream filled doughnut and a large coffee. The first time me and my family came to this donut shop, it was a really great experience. I believe the owner was the one who serviced me, so it was really great to have a wonderful experience with her wonderful service and great attitude. The donuts I got were: Lemon filled Raspberry jam filled Classic with chocolate topping Classic glazed Classic with maple topping All of them were warm and fluffy. Sometimes when you get donuts especially when it's later in the night and the donut shop is about to close they don't really taste stale but they don't taste as fresh as they would if you first go when they open so to be able to have a really great donut experience and the donuts be fluffy and taste fresh and warm was really nice. I don't think I have ever had this good of donuts and that's saying a lot because I know that Krispy Kreme is very popular, but I felt like this beat them out completely! When we walked in we were greeted by a friendly lady. It smelled like they were just made fresh! The place is super clean and the milk in the fridge was cold (yummy)... It's a family tradition of ours to buy the whipped cream and strawberry donut for a breakfast treat for our kids on their birthdays. We've been doin it for years, today my husband walked in to order two and was willing to even wait however long they needed to make them, the counter person said "no she wasn't going to make them because she was too busy." Mind you there was 4 employees working and 3 people in line. When I called to see if I could speak to manager I was told there isn't one and that the owner also doesn't come in. I got no where with speaking with them to inform them about the rude lady. Why do they have items on the menu for sale if they are refusing to make them! A Northwest Gem people. Before I even get into the amazing donuts the location is everything. Marketplace at El Paseo has so many great places to visit & Judy's Donuts is @ the top of the list. The store itself truly has that mom & pop feel. The Donuts are ridiculously soft & tasty. And the presentation is shear art. (Check out the pics.) Delicious fresh doughnuts! This place is a weekend staple for my family because they always have delicious donuts and they taste very fresh. The texture of the donuts is very soft and they do not have the taste of old stale oil. My family has been going here for years and we enjoyed the chocolate bars, old fashion powdered donuts and any other interesting donuts they have at the time. There always adapting and keeping up with the latest trends and donuts and pastries designs. I love the staff there is nice and respectful even when they're very busy they just try to work quickly and carefully to get the orders prepared correctly. Sometimes they do run out of certain selections but they have other donuts there is that are just as delicious so it is not a big deal because you can just replace it with something else that caught your eye. Owner was very rude. Was giving me multiple boxes i asked her nicely if I can just get one box. she got upset and said " i don't want you coming later or calling complaining I mested up your donuts then" I stayed quite. while she put my donuts in the box roughly because she got upset how I wanted them. then says "you see what I'm saying I just explained to you" I said ya it's okay if they touch. and made a ugly face at the donuts. I got half a dozen and she charged me 18.50$ charged me extra. I paid and she didn't say have a nice day or thank you. I felt akward because I'm not a confrontational person. I have been eating at this donut shop for years, and when I went there today, I noticed that they gave me day-old donuts that were stale and hard. I do not blame the workers because they just work there but I do believe the ownership as they are selling a substandard products because these were the worst donuts I've ever eaten and I will not eat at Judy's donuts again. I will just go to Panera bread. They have good morning pastries and I know they're always fresh. They might be a little bit more expensive but at least they'll be tastier because these donuts were gross. read more

Place is small but their donuts are some of the best I've ever had. Just leaving Yosemite and found this spot to my right. They typically close at 2pm on the weekends but business was popping and all they had left were these chocolate donut bars. They sold out and closed early. Best advice is to get there early, I doubt that there is another join that comes close to this quality in the area. read more

Beautiful doughnuts but I don't think I would go back. I wanted 2 dozen speciality doughnuts. The young lady said it was (a little) Xtra. I paid $63 for 2 dozen doughnuts. They charge $2 more per doughnut when it's fancy. Well no complaint about how beautiful they are but I would have bought less fancy ones! That's a lot for 2 dozen!!!! read more

Never been to the other Judy's Donuts so I can't compare. This is my first time trying Judy's and I had no problem and was highly satisfied with their donuts. Good location in a nice area of town. So things are clean and organized and aesthetically pleasing. They had a lot of choices and french crullers are no extra charge. I've been to some donut shops that charge extra for crullers so it was nice to see these could be part of your dozen or half dozen without an upcharge. My donuts tasted great with a nice airy fluffy texture. I don't normally order old fashions because they are too dense. You'll be pleased to know they also have specialty donuts that are trending. From bacon, fruity pebbles, and even great tea--you'll find cool new flavors to try. My go to donut spot has been Donut Fantasy, but this place is closer and if i don't feel like trying crazy flavors--which Donut Fantasy has more of, the selection here is fine and I don't have to try further away. read more
