It was pretty packed. They have bar seating and seating along the wall. I had the bartender make me something with vodka. I have no idea what's in it lol. However, it was tasty! The drinks were are pretty decently priced at $12, compared to $14 at the place prior to this. The bartenders were friendly and it was good vibes!

Dive is not really that divey, i'm guessing "relax and hang out and play games in cocktailored comfort bar" was taken so "Dive Bar" it is... this location is way bigger and more above ground than the OG in Mooresville plus it has patio seating to get away from the madding crowd when it arrives as I'm sure it will, it just wasn't here (yet?) today but it's still early and still Thursday and a bit too warm for May. entry and main room have several games of "skill" and other amusements to give your hands something to do besides raising your glass. further back there's more games and some pool tables; a standard coin-op plays different than 'World Series o' Billiards' tables because, well, you know... you're in a bar! which, oddly enough, is exactly the same reason you could loose your house payment (if they allowed that sort of thing here (which they don't.)) it's a nice place, kinda glad I don't live too near here or I'd be here more often than not.

The outside also has a nice patio with a roof for those who wish to sit outside. I know that there are some days that there are certain events held here like book club or even drag show! I know Thursdays there is free pool (so get there at a good time) and Tuesdays and Fridays there is Karaoke. When it comes to drinks I would say that the price is very fair. The bar tenders are very attentive. Also since a lot of their regulars come here it's easy for them to know what you want. My go to here is a white russian. It's really good and if you enjoy things coffee flavored definitely give it a try. Overall I've always had a great time here at Westerwood. The environment is super welcoming and the service is great. If you want to explore a new scene and get out of downtown this is the place to be.

Showed up with a table of 8 today of people familiar with the location but not the new business. We tried a variety of things at the table. They've got wings, tots, chicken sandwiches, burgers and wraps. They have Cheerwine. Food was pretty good - prices average - great service. Will keep my eye on this place in the coming months and try again. Loved my char grilled chicken sandwich - and they have the creamy white coleslaw I like. Fries could use some seasoning. I think this place will come around and happy to support. Seems to be a great crew of people working there and was a nice spot for lunch.
