I arrived here solo around 7:50 PM on a Tuesday evening. I had just finished an event across the street and wanted a quick bite to eat and a drink. On Tuesdays they have half-priced food. The food is nothing spectacular and something that can be easily put in an oven. I got the pretzels which were bite-size and they tasted fine for what it was. I also got a lemon drop shot. I also got the dive daiquiri, which was pretty tasty. When I arrived, the DJ was setting up for karaoke that I think was happening that night. It was not busy at all. I sat in the bar and the bartender was extremely friendly. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I didn't play any games which they seem to have a lot of. I would stop in again!

A lively place to hang out with great drink specials and prices in general, as well as a pretty diverse crowd and a decent selection of (mostly modern) games! We ended up here after a larger craft beer festival let out across the street at the stadium, as we weren't quite ready to pack it up yet. At that time, it was just a quick ID check and entry. I think they made a change to the policy on metal detectors, coming out later at night or when they feel necessary. It's true, though this area has developed a lot, it could still be needed time to time. As I said before, drinks were very reasonably priced, which is something they pride themselves in looking at their website. This will bring me back for sure. For me, I wish there were more classic arcade cabinets, or some kind of multi-play cabinet that has a selection of older games. Obviously, this is generational. The college age crowd will probably love what they have. But throw me an arcade class like TMNT: Turtles in Time or another good beat em up, and a Mortal Kombat machine of some variety. It wasn't so crazy loud in there that you couldn't have a conversation with an elevated voice, and there is an outdoor patio which you could retreat to if you want to talk more. That said, you're here to distract yourself with games and have a couple drinks. I didn't try any food, but as others have said, it's simple munchies. If it can't be made in a toaster oven, don't expect to find it, and definitely don't expect anything made in house. All in all, I'll be back to Dive Bar again!

I tend to be pretty critical of arcade bars, because they just never seem to live up to what I'm hoping for. I stumbled across Dive Bar on a trip to Stock and Grain because it was across the street, and we had never heard of it before. We walked across the street just to try it out after dinner, and what a good experience! Getting in was fast and easy, a quick scan of the ID and away you go. The bar was large, with very friendly and attentive bartenders, and prices on drinks were very reasonable. The bar is well stocked and we were happy with all the things we tried! There is both inside and outside access to the bar. I did not try food but saw they offered several options which look like they get heated up in air fryers. The arcade games offered a large selection of mostly modern games (a departure from many establishments that put all their real estate into pinball and Pac Man). There was a very good variety and all of them seemed to be in good working order. Games are mostly priced at around $1 a play, some a bit higher, and all have card readers. You can use your debit card or Apple Pay, but they also have machines were you can get prepaid card loaded easily, which is nice if you are someone who uses cash. I opted to use a prepaid card because I didn't want dozens of small transactions on my debit card, and it also served as a way to limit myself from going overboard. The place was reasonably crowded for a Saturday night, and it was nice to see a good turnout. The atmosphere was nice and we enjoyed ourselves. I will say that I would prefer to see games a bit cheaper, or better yet, a flat rate cover charge at the door with unlimited game play once you're inside. I'd much rather pay $20-30 at the door and know I have unlimited play, than to worry about the cost of each individual play, but I know they won't make as much money this way. For a "we didn't know this existed" discovery, I was very happy with the experience and will come back!

Checked out this new High Point nightlife spot, but having been to the competitor in Greensboro, it's not quite as fun. It's. A bit small, with 2 or 3 billiard tables and a couple of dozen arcade games, but they're mostly modern games, rather than the classic arcade games that adults look for at these spots. The door staff felt a bit aggressive with medal detectors and pat downs, something else I was not expecting when we visit during "family hours" (630pm). The bar staff was friendly and quick with pouring drinks. The food though, was truly out of the freezer...if it couldn't be heated in their toaster oven, they didn't offer it. They served chicken nuggets, cheese sticks, frozen pizza...nothing very exciting. All in all, it seems like a good spot for families, maybe not so much for adults though. But that's my opinion.

This place was a lot of fun. We arrived at around 8 PM on a Friday night. It had people, but wasn't too packed. The space is small, but I was fairly happy with the quality of games available. There were some inconsistencies in terms of pricing and the amount of gameplay you get. But, we didn't encounter any broken games at all. They have one pinball machine, a Freddy Krueger one. I was really happy with the amount of gameplay you got for the price and the machine worked beautifully. The hunting game was also fantastic and the dart boards were state of the art. Though I didn't play pool, I was impressed that they had three pool tables and that each game was just two dollars. The fishing game was expensive for the amount of playtime you got, and the baseball throw game also wasn't amazing. My suggestion to this place is to add a couple of small multi game machines to diversify what is available. Towards the end of the night, the place was filling up with a slightly younger crowd, which is to be expected. The environment was nice and it seemed like a nice mix of friends hanging out and couples on dates. There was a nice long bar with drink specials, but I didn't choose to drink that night. I will next time though. So glad that this cool new place exists! Overall, I would definitely stop in here again.

Stopped in to check this new place out. We were there early on a Friday night so it wasn't too busy. We did not drink and only spent $20 on games as we knew they would probably get busy once the baseball game got out. It was a cool little spot. The crowd seemed to me a mix of young and middle aged adults. It was a bit small inside but was decorated nicely and was clean. I believe they serve food but we had just eaten dinner so we did not try any food. The games were a bit pricy compared to other barcade type establishments and the selection was much smaller due to the space. Will definitely try it out again in the future.

Lots of space to hang out and there are arcade games like pinball, skeeball and pool tables as well as TVs to watch whatever sport is on.
