AMAZING PLACE WITH AN AMAZING DECK! Super low key spot! Great for sunny days. Right across from Hanes Park so always perfect scenery. Mostly an older crowd so relax and everyone is super friendly. You will meet all kinds there! Construction workers to private owners to CEO's! They have a few beers on tap but the best kinds. Some of the most beautiful and friendly bartenders you will ever meet. It is a dog friendly bar but leashes are required. If you every stop by tell them Bryan sent you!

    Great place!

This is my second time visiting the pub. The atmosphere is great. The bartenders and fellow patrons are always very nice! This is my new favorite spot. Great beer on tap and full bar.

Nice place to unwind on a Friday after work!

Truly one of the best bars in town. I will start by saying it's a little dive bar with all the regulars in town, we come here at least two times a week now (which I guess makes us regulars too now). Justin is an absolutely wonderful bartender!! He has always made sure to make me exactly what I want to drink even when I'm having an off day and don't feel like something with a lot of liquor flavor (if that makes sense). The highlight of this bar has to be the friendly staff, the fabulous outside deck (great for people watching) and the fact they make their own pickles!! I had a Bloody Mary today and I told Justin to do whatever he wanted to it, well he did and let me say it was the best dang Bloody Mary I have ever had. He brought me out some pickles with it and I was blown away. I am an avid pickle lover and these were on the top of my list of some of the best pickles I have ever had! They have some decent beers on draft from what I see and a great range of liquor! Anything I've asked for Justin has been able to make for me! It has a very cozy interior and you too will soon become a regular!

Come visit the best bartender and the best bar in Winston Salem this Sunday night! Close out your weekend with Hannah at The Tap!

The best place to enjoy the end of the weekend! Relaxing atmosphere, great patio amd the coolest bartender in WS behind the bar every Sunday! Come visit us tonight!

It's a bare-bones bar, but they're good at what they do. The inside has a clean, modern feel that reminds me of places in Dallas. It's by no means pretentious though, and I always seem to enjoy the music, which tends to be pop through the decades. They have a few tall tables, a few couches, and a couple flat screen TVs. Also, there's a patio for warm summer nights. I think they have a good group of regulars, which seem to be comprised of Wake students and yuppies (or at least young people), and a friendly staff. It's worth a visit.

Ask about their multiple delivery options.

The tap located in the beautiful historic West End neighborhood of downtown WInston Salem is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and Hanes park. Staff is always welcoming and they have the best deck in Winston Salem.

Great staff, regulars rock my socks. But they were out of fireball and that, sir, is unforgiveable.

Good place for cocktails or a craft beer. Patio area with a great view. I recommend this place for a nice relaxing drink.

I just…read morepopped in briefly because frankly they were taking forever with my pizza across the street and figured I might as well grab a beer. Personally I love a good dive that embraces what it is and doesn't have any pretension otherwise. Service here seemed straightforward and decent enough. They looked like they had a pretty decent and varied liquor selection. Beer selection wasn't super impressive but they had the important staples and one or two decent "fancier" craft beers. I only stopped in once but based on what I saw it seems like a decent place to check if you're tying one on downtown or just want somewhere chill to hang out during the day.

The plan was to hit this spot for some karaoke, but when we arrived at 7 we were told karaoke doesn't start on Saturdays until 10pm. So that was a bit disappointing The space felt a bit Smokey, I suppose from years pst, but they do allow vaping inside which I wasn't a big fan of. It definitely draws an eclectic crowd, big age range and a lot of diversity in the ethnicity of the crowd as well Drinks are a bit pricey and they do not offer any food, though you are welcome to bring your own or have it delivered.

Wasn't the best and wouldn't get again. The peach lavender cocktail with champagne was too sweet so also wouldn't get again. It also didn't have enough of the bubbly-ness of champagne. The shrimp tacos without aioli were really good. Shrimp cooked perfectly. The lettuce and mango pico were fresh. Would get again. My fiancé had the pork mac and cheese. The portion was filling. The meat was flavorful, and the mac and cheese was pretty good. It was missing one ingredient that we couldn't place, but overall pretty good. We want to come back and try more entrees. Not so sure about the cocktails. Service was good. The waiter let my fiancé sample a cider he was interested in (it was okay, but we didn't order a full glass). He was on top of the order and checking in to make sure we were happy. The playlist was kind of all over the place but played songs we recognized and even liked. It's small inside with lots of outdoor seating, and the chairs inside aren't the most comfortable. But overall on a slow day like we experienced, we had a good enough time.

I ordered the Cajun Cod Wrap from their weekly specials menu after seeing the photo they posted on Facebook. It looked good but what I received was a total disappointment. It looked nothing like the picture. First of all, it was tiny. I honestly thought I'd been given a kid's meal. It was that small. And for $15? It definitely wasn't worth the price. Second, the wrap was only filled halfway, with the rest of it being mostly tortilla. Finally, I took a bite and couldn't taste any Cajun seasoning at all. I let my husband and son each try a bite as well and neither of them could taste any Cajun either. We rarely complain about our food but this time we had to. Our server was incredibly kind and immediately agreed that it looked nothing like it should. She went to get the manager but another staff member came over because the manager was busy. He was also very friendly, understanding and agreed that what I received wasn't right. He offered to either remove it from our bill or let me order something else. I chose the street tacos because I know those are always good. I really appreciated how smoothly and professionally they handled the situation. That said, something similar happened before when I ordered from their weekly specials menu so I've decided I won't be ordering from it again. I'll be sticking to their regular menu from now on.

Parking is a little tight up front, but if you come around the backside, there's a good sized parking lot back there with a rear door. You'll walk through the covered (and heated) outdoor smoking porch to get in, so if smoke bothers you, coming in the front door may be a better experience for you. Inside, there's two (free!) pool tables, and five (free!) dart boards. There's a TouchTunes jukebox (fun to Rick Roll/Nickelback the whole bar). The drinks are inexpensive, with good pours, and there's specials every night of the week. I don't usually put this in reviews, but since it's very unlike most bars, the restrooms are fantasic - big and clean. The bartenders Katie, Ashley, and Patricia are fantastic - it does get busy in there, especially over the weekend, but they do a good job of keeping drinks flowing. You can run a tab - they'll take your card and give it back when you close out. For what it is, it does it very well, so I'm giving it 5 stars. Come shoot some darts with us and share a beer!
