The girls had lots of fun on all of the activities! For our group size it was $10 a kid for 2 hours. The kids definitely got a great workout in and had a great time doing it! You will need to sign a waiver and you will also want to inform your kids to try their best to be safe! One of our kids lost their grip while swinging back and forth on a bar and they fell backwards hitting their head on the ground. There is not much padding on the ground either so it is a very hard impact! A ski or bike helmet would be a good idea for next time! Workout gloves would be great to have as our kids got blisters from doing all of the ropes and bars. Barleycorn's is also conveniently located next door if you want to plan lunch or dinner for a group!

This event kick my butt, and made me realized I'm so out of shape. My little workout routine at home is nothing compared to what they do here at this gym. This is not the traditional gym that you can jump in your treadmill or a machine, and do your workout. To the 2 hours I spent here, the regimen seemed innovative, but at the same time traditional. I like how Joe, the owner seemed supportive and encouraging to the members and guest participants. This is my first time in a gym like this, and I am impressed with the camaraderie that I observed. Since this is my first time he did not even charge me for experiencing a great workout. If you're into challenging your mind and body this is the place for you. I feel intimated at first and making excuses to myself, but the end of the session, I feel proud that I was able to endure the 2 hour event. Let us support our local businesses, and check them out!

The yearly maintenance fee you pay upfront 70+ dollars is a joke this is in addition to the 1st and last months dues to even walk in the door....... don't do it! Equipment is well maintained. Washcloths and disinfectant solution always available to wipe down equipment after use to leave clean and ready for next user. While I've visited numerous locations throughout California, I have to say that the customer service in this particular facility was far beyond what I had hoped to experience. Upon walking in, Jim (GM) was sure to greet me in a way that felt inviting, not pressuring. After a brief conversation, I decided to make myself familiar with the facility. Here's where Anytime fitness, in general, totally rocks it. They had an apparatus called the mace. I've been in the fitness industry for almost 3 decades, and have never learned to use it. I asked Jim if he would be able to give me a brief lesson. He was forthright and letting me know that he was not the most suitable instructor for that particular tool, and how to use it. He then, however, proceeded to introduce me to one of the facilities trained instructors. Tony is certified in using the mace. He took me through a mini session and got me on my way to finally using this tool. I'm a stickler for how people teach others to do things that could potentially be extremely harmful to themselves. I'm sure many of you have seen what I call "rep counters". You know, the ones with the clipboard in hand, who are simply counting out loud each of your reps while they're looking at some hottie across the gym. Not the case here. Tony was incredibly attentive to every single inch of movement I was making, to ensure that I did not hurt myself, and received the most effective results from that particular exercise. The facility was extremely clean and fully equipped with just about every apparatus available for functional training, as well as your typical machines. While I'm out here, this is definitely my spot. Worth the 25 minute drive from where I'm staying.

So I try to slink out of there in utter mortification, but Rusty insisted I stay for the yoga class, worked really hard to reduce my embarrassment and never tried to sell me a membership I obviously didn't need. This is why I will return here if my multi-gym pass doesn't work out. Good job, guys! The people you employ represent you well! PS: the yoga class was kickass!

KID'S CLUB STAFF SHOUTOUT. I'm a SilverLake member but I come to BB once a week for basketball. I…read morebring my energetic 2, almost 3, year old son, Nico, every Wednesday around 5:30PM for the past month. They greet him, make him feel welcome, and that's all I expect. But they go way above and beyond. Sometimes I've come down an hour later and they're still engaging with him! He prefers solo play unless it's another toddler he knows so I'm shocked he's playing with them. And I can tell he's getting attention because he doesn't want to leave most of the time. This is never the case at Silverlake, he's always sprinting to the door upset and desperately trying to get out and I only leave him at that Kids Club for only 30 minutes. He was being clingy last week at BB and didn't want to go in (had nothing to do with them, he's just a daddy's boy sometimes), and the employee working the desk was a good sport, reached out her arms, talked him through it, and put up with his whines for who knows how long. I bounced because I knew he was going to cry no matter what we did. I expected them to either reluctantly take him or ask to wait until he's ready, but she was all over it and ready to handle his whiny butt. They're so awesome! It's not that I don't appreciate Silverlake staff at Kids Club because it's an insanely hard job, but the BB staff are just the best. If I had any doubts on keeping my Silverlake membership, BB Kid's Club staff have killed them.

My ring and watch provide more information post workout than the beat. If you don't want to wear a bulky device, the beat if definitely for you!!! They have a small boutique and refrigerator with cold, electrolyte water for sale - which is sooooo easy! They just charge your account so there's no need to bring anything extra! They do have a full shower and it is stocked for those that need to change after their workout!
