The visit itself was great because Steve is great. The booking process, however, is a different little adventure. Getting an appointment here can feel like trying to secure concert tickets, win a radio contest, and decode a government form all before lunch. At checkout, their computer system was down, and the woman at the desk said she would call me once everything was back up. It has been almost a week, and apparently that call is still wandering the desert looking for cell service. So yes, Steve is absolutely worth seeing, and I would recommend him without hesitation. Just bring patience, emotional hydration, and possibly a backup calendar, because the medical care is wonderful, but the scheduling and follow through could use a meaningful intervention.

She was very friendly and she took her time - I did not feel rushed at all. I also had to take my toddler with me because the sitter canceled at the last minute - he is pretty well-behaved and was in the stroller the whole time and we didn't have any issues, which I very much appreciate. The front desk staff is also very friendly and easy to work with. I can't speak to any of the other services (i.e. general dermatology, surgical dermatology, or cosmetic), but I can definitely recommend them for the full-body skin check. Deb Vu, PA works out of Henderson Skin and Cancer Dermatology in Henderson, this review is solely for her and her ancillary staff. I've never met Dr. Gunther (the owner), nor do I plan to after having met Deb, who I consider to be an effective provider and is trained, licensed and credentialed to practice out of this office. In my derm provider, I look for the following attributes: inquisitive, compassionate, no frills practice style and a preventive focus. Deb was all encompassing of these attributes and more. She took an ample amount of time to get to know me, my concerns and understand my life style. She was understanding of the fact that my schedule doesn't allow me to have a traditional day and night routine and that we would need to work around this for success. She suggested a chemical peel would be the way to go and I was happy to learn it was to be in office without the lavish facial component that would up my cost. PA Cyril Joseph and every single staff member have made such a meaningful impact on my life. I was born with a rare disorder called NF, and unfortunately there is currently no cure. Living with NF is not just physically difficult, but mentally and emotionally exhausting as well. There are days where it affects my confidence, my anxiety, and even how I see myself. It is something I carry with me every single day. Over the years, I have seen many doctors, even traveling outside of the country searching for answers, help, or simply understanding. Sadly, many experiences left me feeling dismissed, unheard, and hopeless. Some doctors barely listened before rushing me out the door. Others made me feel like I was wasting their time. After a while, it became emotionally draining to keep asking for help while feeling invisible. Meeting PA Cyril Joseph changed that experience completely. From the very first appointment, he treated me like a human being instead of just another patient. He listened patiently, never rushed me, and made me feel genuinely heard. CAUTION FRAUD!! I am beyond frustrated with this doctor's office. What makes this even worse is that we have no idea what this charge is for. We have not received a bill, statement, or any communication whatsoever. During our visits, we used our insurance and paid the required copays at the time of service, so where did this charge suddenly come from years later? And how do they have my card information saved 3 years later? No patient should wake up to find almost $1,000 missing from their account without warning or consent. If there was a legitimate balance owed, why weren't we contacted? Why wasn't a bill sent? Why was money simply taken from our account years after the fact? This situation feels incredibly dishonest and has completely destroyed our trust in this practice. We are disputing the charge and expect a full explanation immediately. Patients deserve transparency, proper billing procedures, and respect, not surprise withdrawals from their bank accounts years later.
