Love the smoothies, but seriously consistently terrible service. I walk in, and both employees are busy, & while I totally did not mind waiting, there was no greeting what so ever. They both looked up & saw me, but said nothing. After a few minutes, I was finally helped but again no greeting, just "what can I get for you?" A customer walked in after me & the same thing happened. I've worked in customer service for over 10 years. It takes 10 seconds to say "Hey! I'll be with you in just a second!" Juice Bar is perfect when you need to grab something healthy on the go. The midtown location has a ~$10 "you pick two" which is great deal considering one juice usually costs about $6. I stopped in with about 20 minutes for lunch and chose the Sweet Greens juice with the spring rolls. The spring rolls come with two pretty big rolls packed with fresh veggies and a delicious peanut sauce on the side. I was skeptical but it kept me full until dinner! read more

Loved the Ginger Greens juice I got here and would definitely come and order it again if I was in town. I wish they had recycling and/or the option to have a real glass and plate. I got the almond butter sandwich as well. All the ingredients were really high quality. Delicious apples, strawberries, and honey. I didn't like the gluten-free bread it came on. I was very excited to try juice bar! I got the acai bowl because I wanted a quickly lunch, and it was delicious! Way better than the other acai bowl I've had in Memphis. The actual acai bowl is the size of their small cup, and it was filled just to the top. Inside the acai bowl: strawberries, blueberries, gogi berries, peanut butter, oats, honey, pistachios, coconut, and Cacau nibs. I definitely recommend if you want a small snack! I think I may slightly prefer the other juice bar in town, but this is a solid midtown option. I've tried the ginger greens juice, blue chocolatta (way better than it sounds), and the cocoa banana. Although I'm not a huge juice person, I really like the ginger greens -- possibly even more than I liked the smoothies. They do have grab and go juice which is convenient, but one morning when I went in they did not have coffee brewed (less convenient). There is also off-street parking in the lot beside the building (convenient). Prices are on par for juice/smoothies in this area ($6-9). Join the loyalty program ... Gotta love a loyalty program. read more

So excited this place is here. I am addicted to the Green Juices, especially Ginger Greens. It's basically $10 for a large juice....a bit expensive....but worth it for the nutritional bang for your buck. I'm starting to make this place a daily habit. They are also running a $10 special for a 16 ounce juice and a "grab and go" food item, making a healthy juice/snack at a reasonable price. There are cozy "coffee shop style" seating areas and an outdoor/covered patio area which I love! Finding the wi-fi password is not easy...I think you have to ask as I didn't see it posted anywhere. There is a "punch card" type deal through an i-pad sign in system, but it is not advertised. You have to ask....it's something like "get a free drink after 11 visits". I'd love to see Juice Bar expand its food options, including fresh meals like its only restaurant, City Silo. Regardless of food or not, this is a GREAT RESOURCE for the Midtown area and one that we want to keep thriving. I love Juice Bar! read more

This diverse group of employees obviously have their hands in the most current and exciting culture and events happening in Memphis. I recently was informed about Art happenings and music shows that I never would have discovered on my own. This place is awesome! This is my first time in Memphis and I needed a place where I could sit a do a little work before my weekend gets started. I yelped coffee spots and this place was two doors down from where I intended to go. I'm so happy I came here instead! I try to be pretty healthy so I'm always looking for good juicing spots which is not always easy to find when traveling. They had a variety of selections and everything fresh. I usually get a juice with everything, all the fruits and veggies on the menu so I was happy with all the choices they had. Most days I don't get my fruit and definitely not my veggie portion in so whenever I can get it all in one sha-bang I am a very happy camper :D. JUICE - this place has both juice for those of us that actually do juice (think juice cleanse type of juices) OR smoothies for those of us that are just looking for a quick smoothie! The juices are like the ones that are fruit based or vegetable based (kale, spinach, green type juices, or oranges, pineapple, apple juices). you can even make your own juices! you pick a base, and add on as you wish. the thing that nobody likes to talk about, PRICE - the smallest size is approximately $6-7. the large is approximately $8 with tax. LOCATION - located in a little shop right across the street from muddy's, right off of union, and right before you hit the main part of the cooper young area, this space is incredibly convenient while spacious at the same time! there's always enough parking in the parking lot, theres always room for you to sit and do work or drink your juice. I love that it has an indoor area but also an outdoor patio for the nicer days. Haven't figured out yet if they're dog friendly (maybe someone can find out?) great location! highly recommend if you're on the western side of town and dont want to drive all the way out to cosmic coconut / whole foods / wherever else you get your juice. We just paid for everything and didn't bother wasting the juice. My first impression was an immaculate very modern and organic environment. The lighting was all natural which to me was very important because of how eco friendly I am. The seating on the patio was an experience that you have to see in the Cooper Young area. We saw a ton of cool people on the patio including a very eclectic artistic staff. Everyone has a very southern inviting personality that just draws you in with a midtown vibe. We were just passing through so we went with the to go line and they had very fast service with exceptionally flavored drinks. I had the Ginger Greens which included lemon ginger, kale and apples. My friend I was with had the same thing but added beet juice and an extra shot. Oh my! Let's talk about that! Extra shots of healthy count me in! The smoothies and juices are delicious but I have to give 1 star less because of business issues. I like to call ahead in the morning so I can quickly pick up & pay for smoothies but they do not have a (consistently) working phone. It is inconvenient and bizarre when a business does not have a working phone, especially when their prices are on the higher end for the area. What's concerning is that they are aware of the issue (for months now) and do not fix/change it. I understand that some of these kinds of issues are normal to Memphis business practices but there is always a way to make something better. read more

It's near where I live which is always a plus. I didn't have a juice or smoothy because I really wanted food. I'll definitely return for a beverage so my rating doesn't reflect that so I'll update in the future. The décor is cute... Somewhat coffee shop like. There's an outside porch area that looks nice in the warm weather. The service was quick. I had the hummus which came with cucumbers, carrots, and celery. Everything was fine. All women were working this day except for one white guy with dark hair who made the place have a great welcoming vibe, he also made the juice. I love the juice and the ambiance. But the staff? There is a girl that works there who's very nice, and a dude who's been there a while who's also courteous. But there are a couple of newer dudes who are rude. Maybe they were having bad days when I visited, but most likely they need lessons on how to treat customers. Today I'll try the juice bar at Kroger or perhaps travel past the Parkway to Whole Foods. I've never run across a rude juice bar employee at either place. One star is for rude dudes. read more

This place is such a great addition on the Cooper Connector Corridor in Midtown Memphis. They took a very outdated building and punched it up with some modern coolness. Love the color and deep stained wood. Plus, an outstanding covered patio!... And, the juices are Yummy!!! I love the "What's up Doc" with a little less garlic and the "Orange You Glad". I also like the addictive dark chocolate truffles they stock and the Spring Rolls are an awesome snack. My only complaint so far has been a few service snafus that probably speak to being so new. One time, when I asked for the "What's up Doc.", a weird conversation ensured amongst the folks behind the counter about who did or didn't clean out the beets from the previous order. It was uncomfortable for me standing there but it certainly wasn't malicious. I am so excited that I Love Juice Bar has opened in my neck of the woods and am already making multiple trips per week. Consistency is key. I'm a big time smoothie lover & I really want to love Juice Bar. However, the overly blended, almost pureed consistency of their smoothies really irks me. I've tried every smoothie in hopes that maybe it was just the ingredients of one or two... but no, its all of them. The consistency literally makes me think that I've had an accident and had my mouth wired shut and therefore need a liquefied diet. Please consider retraining your employees on how to use a vitamix. Also, upgrade to bigger legit "smoothie straws" - its a game changer. read more
