This is a cool location with plenty of space and sitting room. The service was ok. I will say that the store wasn't as clean as I am used to from other locations, so I didn't want to sit in. However, my PB Swizzle was good, so I am glad about that. I do like that they have a lot of items/snacks that you can purchase for a quick pick me up (and it helps that they are nutritious). After reading several negative reviews about this place, I decided to go anyway. Terrible decision! No customer service, they didn't even acknowledge my presence when I came in and they are terribly slow with their product. I'm the only one in line and it took them 20 minutes to make my order. I had ordered two identical smoothies and when the young lady called my name she'd only made one. Told her I had ordered two and all types of attitude came from her. Showed her my receipt and she begrudgingly made the other. Never going in here again. In addition, they seem to care about their social media than their customers. read more

Good service is really slim these days! I placed an online order during what seemed like obvious peeks times so I honestly didn't expect my smoothie to be ready at the "promised time" (an automatic grace) I decided to go inside to wait for my order! I then noticed after about 5 minutes of waiting for my order to either be placed in the online bin or for my name to be called that mostly everyone that'd checked out in my brief time of waiting had cleared the inside! I then inquire about my order and was ignored until a young lady came up and acknowledged me! My order hadn't even been acknowledged although it was hanging in plain view with other "online" orders! The sense of urgency was most certainly NOT there and there's no accountability...just more like be glad we're fulfilling your order and get the hell on! I sat in there for an extra 24 minutes leaving out at 9:11 am because I was LAAAATE for work..... waiting almost 30 mins for a smoothie that should have been ready. ANNNNNND to top it off???? Least favorite Smoothie King location. Always get the Pineapple Surf and when I came in and ordered it the smoothie was not thick, more like juice. Employee needed more training as far as making wholesome smoothies. Service however was nice and fast. Hit or miss with this location. read more

I was a little worried when I moved to Memphis that smoothies were more of a Florida thing. I was happy to find that Smoothie King had made its way here ahead of me. I typically stop here early in the morning on my way to work. The quality and service is fine. The problem is location. It's awful trying to get in and out of the place because of Union traffic. The other day, we were walking around town, getting some exercise. Well, I became thirsty. I wanted a healthier option besides a soda. We came upon a Smoothie King, so I decided I would get one. I rarely get a smoothie, because too often they are too sweet. Fruit is naturally sweet; I have no idea why more sweeteners are added. I also thing they have way too many calories to be a drink. It's the same as a meal. I also think the sizes are too large. Anyway, I had trouble deciding on what flavor I wanted. They have basically anything you can imagine, even ones like peanut butter and chocolate. They have their menu divided into what you are trying to accomplish (fitness, slim, wellness, energy, etc). They also have the calorie count listed for your convenience, which was actually a deterrent for me from many of them. I ended up with Peach Slice Plus, which is "Peaches, Strawberries, Papaya Juice Blend, Non-Fat Milk, Turbinado, Soy Protein." It was good, but it was just too much. I wish I had made it skinny to get rid of some of the sweetness. I also wish I had gotten a kid's size. read more

EVERYTIME I come to this location I'm not pleased with the smoothie. Tonight I decided to stop by because of the reward email I received. I made it about 15 mins before closing and someone else was inside waiting for an order. When the gentleman started to take my order, I noticed he was on his cellphone... he continued to talk on his cell phone the whole time. I wanted to ask about some snacks as well as about points on my app but didn't want to disturb he call about a woman not taking interest in him but rather choosing another guy etc. so I jokingly asked was the pretzels going to be a Christmas gift considering he was on the phone the whole time and couldn't assist me... his reply was that since I arrived to the store 10 mins or so before closing I don't get the quality service he offers before 8:30 pm. Then once I tasted my Lemon ginger smoothie (that I always get) it tasted very sour and had bits of spinach and ice in it.. I mentioned that maybe that was because he was on the phone and he made a smart comment and told me to have a goodnight. I called to ask his name and the managers name and he answered and said his name was Smoothie King. Is this the type of customer service you condone? He has a horrible attitude and I'm not surprised the young lady he was whining about didn't choose him! Stopped by today after a vicious round of golf for a quick refresher. Three words. They came thru. They don't have a drive thru though but I still come thru because they always come thru. I ordered a 20 oz. lemon twist strawberry with an energy boost and I was def BOOSTED. At the register though the receipt machine messed up and the guy asked if I needed a receipt but I said nah because I was hype for the smoothie. For whatever crazy reason, I have been craving green tea like nobodies business since I got pregnant. Smoothie King has become a regular stop for me in recent months because they have the Green Tea Tango smoothie. It's green tea, vanilla yogurt and your choice of fruit with a protein shot. I always skip the protein shot and choose mine with mango. I mean Green Tea Tango with Mango has such a ring to it doesn't it? I could probably drink 5 of these a day I crave them so often. They are delicious- just sweet enough, but you can still taste the green tea through the vanilla and mango. Kudos to the gal behind the counter that first recommended the mango option to me. I am soooo hooked on the Green Tea Tango. I always get it with Mango as my fruit choice and if I am getting it after the gym, I always add an Extra Scoop of Protein Powder. It comes with one, but after the gym for a guy, 2 is awesomeness. 20oz is plenty, but I can easily polish off a 32oz as well. Somehow, I never feel bloated on these.. At ALL !!!
