The yoga here is just fine they have poor poor business practices however. Twice I have booked a class on Mind and Body. I even showed them that all of their classes for all of their juice boxes classes at drop in rate of $8. 2 weeks later it still says 8 dollars. So when you book a class and go into take yoga they tell you you owe them 12 more dollars. Make a little effort here people.

The MINDBODY app and the price they refused to honor

Unfortunately I have to write a negative review, not because their classes aren't great but because they have failed time and time again to uphold good business policies. I booked a class that was $8 on the mindbody app and was charged $20. I brought this to their attention when I booked another class the following week, once again the class said $8. When I went in I double checked with the front desk and showed her the app which indeed did say $8.00. She called the manager who refused to honor the price and said I had pay $20.00 despite their screw up on the MINDBODY app. What a poor business approach. It was a complete waste of my time in which they failed to honor. Talk about a place that believes in Karma. My family has also had issues with their lack of business knowledge and payments. I will not be going back.

I'm finally reviewing my favorite place in the whole city of Reno. I started coming to bikram at the South Reno location using their 20 classes for $20 pass, then I purchased a monthly passport ($140) for both locations (NW Droplet and Sierra Rose). I found out I was having shoulder surgery about 14 days into the month and they were nice enough to put it on hold for me until I was cleared for yoga again. The yoga room is nice size enough to fit 50 people in 5 rows. There are challenges that they do - i.e. 50 classes in 50 day, Plank Challenge for 8 Weeks, 6 Days on 1 Day Off ( Currently Going).. so it does get busier around those times. There is always plenty of room for everyone though. The ambience is really nice - it's an updated modern facility with awesome designs and lettering on the windows. The ceiling is this awesome chocolate color with these hypnotizing light fixtures I stare at during my sevasana. There's a changing space and 2 showers with all the amenities you would need - blow dryer, shampoo, body wash, ect.. There are places to store your things and of course water stations with COLD water. They sell Kombucha, Coconut water, and bottled water as well as a variety of yoga clothes and props too. Classes: Hot Pilates - 60 minutes, HIIT, 90-95F, 20 second Tabata rounds, Low-impact (Not for the faint at heart) Beginning Bikram - 90 Minutes, 90-95F, Low-Impact (Awesome for the less flexible, injured folks that want to exercise and loose weight and strengthen) Warm & Mellow - 60 minutes, Mild Heat, Passive Stretching ("Glorified Nap" as Cameron called it, lots of passive stretching, Yin Focused, Hit and Shoulder stretching) Hot Vinyasa - 60 minutes, 90-95F, Constant Flowing Postures (Intermediate Intensity (IMO), great for strengthen and shoulders, a nice change from the other yoga classes offered here) - There are 2 classes I haven't taken - Mild Heat Bikram and Bikram beats that seem awesome as well. The teachers are awesome and always very helpful and accommodating. The goal is to stay in the room the first day because it's so HOT! I highly recommend both locations with ALL of the teachers. This is great way to exercise with low impact and trigger metabolism and weight loss for people with injuries like myself, or just overall healthy people. It's not easy so if you like a challenge this is for you!

The teacher was okay but it's never okay to use profanity of any kind in a class situation and it's quite offensive. Considering I was a first time student she should have watched herself. In the end the class itself was wrong for me; too many props used. My Yogis always taught me that props are not a good idea...and I agree somewhat. I have a block and a strap that can be handy when I've returned to my mat after many falls and severe injuries. I've been a Yogi for 24 years. In a few years I will be opening up my own Yoga Studio in Southern California, I so miss my Cali, not the taxes just the vibe... Every now and then I go back to the Bay Area to teach private classes to my loyal students. The location of this place is in the busy midtown area of Reno. Thankfully the parking wasn't a issue on a Sunday at 3. The studio was very nice and clean.

I came to Midtown because it is a little closer to my side of town and the schedule was perfect for my needs. I was able to get my first class free to try it out. I already knew I was impressed after the first class, but just in case I was not hooked I decided to do the new student pack of unlimited yoga classes for the first month for only 45.00. All the staff seem to be very helpful and very nice to talk to. The teachers are very knowledgeable about the practice. Most classes are for about and hour and 15 min and some even offer the essential oil to help relax at the end of practice. If you are new to yoga or looking for an affordable place for your practice you should give Midtown a try.

You know some places it's obvious that everyone in the class has been going for years and the instructor explains what she's doing but she's going so fast that you really can't get into? This is not that! Every class I have tried I have thoroughly enjoyed. I never feel like a bother when I have to ask for clarification and generally, I don't even have to ask because it's either been explained well or the instructor is cruising around correcting posture and whatnot as she teaches. I feel completely comfortable here. The studio itself is very warm and inviting. Both of the rooms have their charm and I love the floors, I think they are cork? This place gives me all of the warm fuzzies.
