I loved how they were still warm, crispy and chewy in the inside. I had the pistachio sauce with salty peanuts and strawberry sauce with oreo crumbles. These pasteries are best to enjoy while they are fresh, the taste changes after a day and they aren't as tasty. I found the pistachio cream to be more white chocolate tasting than pistachio flavored. The menu also offers sushi rice bowls. I don't know if it's exclusively Pomelo Hat offerings or if it's under Kiramaki's menu. Kiramaki Sushi shares the same space with Pomelo Hat. This store truly has everything I want and love. It's awesome. Here's the best part. Pomelo Hat has sparkling butterfly pea spritzer. OMG! I absolutely love drinks with bubbles. I didn't have to look any further. I got the tropical sunset butterfly pea sparkling spritzer with coconut jelly. Starbucks, eat your heart out with that drink name! My drink came in one size: large. I never got around to coming back to try the dim sum. I had been craving dumplings during my vacation and other establishments that I had frequented satisfied that ongoing want. The Long Version: My mom loves taro bubble tea, so on a recent visit to T&T Supermarket, I took my mom to this Coco Fresh Tea location because it's in the same plazs as T&T. We've been to other Cocos but it was our first time at this particular location. I got her a large Taro Slush ($6.60) and added tapioca pearls, coconut jelly and red bean (additional $0.60 per topping). I got 30% sugar. She shared it with me and I found it way too sweet for my tastes. Had I got the drink for myself, I would have gotten no added sugar as the toppings are sweetened and make the drink plenty sweet. However, my mom thought the sweetness level was good and the drink was for her after all. What I didn't like is that the slush was not blended smooth. It had sizeable chunks of ice in it. The amount of toppings was satisfactory. Service was friendly, but they didn't ask me for my loyalty account, and I forgot to ask them to scan it, so I missed out on getting my points :( I wish they had prompted me. They have macarons for $1.50 each. I haven't tried them but they looked good. The bakery is really clean and well lit. Staff were nice. It's in a strip mall (right next door to Capital Buns Bakery).
