When I questioned why he didn't wash his hands first he replied "I'm putting gloves on". Why do food servers think putting gloves on unwashed hands is acceptable? IT IS NOT! That contaminated hand is still touching the clean glove. When I asked the worker if he was aware of food service education, he insisted washing hands before putting on gloves was not required. He did wash his hands while objecting. Hmm, I suppose some people have no sense of personal hygiene especially while handling other's food. What happens when the workers go to the bathroom? I shudder to imagine! The other worker who was handling money offered to help me. Again with unwashed hands. I hope the owner will correct and educate these workers. Purell should only be an option in the complete absence of soap and water.
