They ONlY put in my additions, so the entire base of the drink is missing and it's only mango protein and ginger... the fountain of youth base of strawberry raspberry banana is missing and I asked for no blueberry which they got right but the whole base is missing... they didn't put the receipt in the bag. It's undrinkable sour and unbalanced. Now I paid damn near 20 dollars for this. Honestly don't do delivery near closing if your workers aren't going to pay attention. Also worker conveniently left receipt out. And Uber eats refused to offer me a refund only a five dollar credit... so I paid for the additives which were about 5 and then 15 extra I guess just for fun... please talk to Uber eats, make this right. Update after hounding Uber they decided to give refund. But please it's not about money. read more

Super pricey, but their smoothies have always been fantastic! I always stop by this place after walking across Central Park. My go to smoothie is their Strawberry Banana. Not only is it delicious, it's also filling and very refreshing. Their customer service has always been excellent; I was assisted by different staffs every time and everyone was so friendly, attentive, and helpful. The store is also very clean. Now that the weather is getting warmer, I can't wait to visit Juice Press again. read more

My go-to place for grocery delivery of fresh fruits. They have terrific prices, from their $21 value box of surplus or imperfect produce to a bag of grapes for $5 or 4 avocados for $3! We've also enjoyed some of their pantry and prepared food items such as their cold brew, veggie broth, veggie chili, oatmeal, chia and flax seeds. The freshness of their produce has been a welcomed discovery for is in East Harlem where getting fresh fruits sometimes can be a challenge. read more

First time in was excited for the gluten free and smoothies. Couldn't read the menu and didn't have my glasses with me (very small text!) and the server just stood there waiting impatiently for me to order when I said I couldn't read it. I should say I was the only one in the whole place to start. Then I asked if they had a take out menu or anything I could see and he just said no and stood there as if I should know what I want. Someone else came in and there was silence no resolution or explanation of some popular items so I decided not to hold up the people who came in behind me. As I walked out deciding not to get anything from somewhere so unwelcoming I realized he could have offered me an online menu option I could view on my phone but didn't? There was a bunch of hair taped onto one of the soup containers from our order. Don't even understand how anyone could miss this?? Also, we came in for smoothies another time and the workers did not know we decided to dine in after we got our drinks (we were in the corner so they could not see us) and a girl working there made a loud sound like she was grossed out and said something about the oatmeal being bad. The person working there saw us and got quiet, it was a very awkward experience. Overall, we have just had some bad experiences here that have to do with cleanliness and sanitization. This is my local juice press when in NYC. I usually go with the fresh juice. The berry blend is a good choice for those who are a little nervous around kale and green drinks. They also have tons of samples to try in the refrigerated cases. Only downside is that the juice is super pricey and this location gets very crowded when the schools in the neighborhood let's put. Green Light smoothie with almond butter is my #1. The green color may be scary for people who don't want veggies in their smoothies but it really doesn't taste like straight up kale or straight up spinach. The banana and almond butter hides the bitter veggie taste. Like, this is Yelp, the actual staff in this store have no control over the prices (they're in control of store cleanliness, friendliness and, if they're making it, the product.) Back to my review, though... I like this Juice Press. It's the most convenient one for me, it's always clean and open 'til 9PM on weekdays (major plus!). I work right in the neighborhood and decided to pop in for a heathy lunch. I've never tried the juices or smoothies, which look very good even though they are about $12. Review is for kale salad. A $13 I ended up throwing away. It was in edible. Terrible dressing. I wish I had gone to the restaurant next door and gotten a normal salad. I guess if you are doing a cleanse or strict diet you'd like it here. If you are able to eat real food with actual good flavors, do that instead. read more

After reading the other reviews i want to add my 2 cents. First of all it is expensive, yes but the prices are readily available Secondly my experience with the staff was excellent! They helped me choose a good 'starter' juice (which was delicious!) as i am new to juicing. I was also offered great ideas and info in the concept of juicing. Maybe i went in at a good time of day but it was not too crowded and only waited minutes Oh and I tried their Egyptian lentil soup which was again, delicious. This place has quite a bit of juice selections with catchy labels! A few of my favorites are: Gravity, Doctor Green, Fit Body, simple green and their watermelon water! Simply refreshing and delicious! One thing you MUST try is their raw oatmeal. Its amazing! It has a nutty taste with a cold firm texture. Its delicious! Blessed to have a Juice Press close to where I go to school, I usually pop in here before class to get something to pick me up. Their smoothies are fantastic, as are their juices. I usually always come in here if i'm feeling a bit under the weather to stock up on their products with ginger like the Fireball as well as their turmeric based products. Those contain Oil of Oregano and fresh squeezed OJ (Vitamin C!!!!!) to perk you right up. There are a couple of other juice shops around the area, but I keep coming back to this one. Also, don't forget to check out their food! I've forgotten to pack my lunch a couple of times and picked up a few of their salads while grabbing a juice and they were pretty filling and delicious. Also worth mentioning: their matcha lattes! I believe their cashew milk is made in house and not some packaged crap, which is always a relief. Juice Press in general is great if you adhere to a raw vegan diet as even their "desserts" are raw aaand vegan. A heaven for those with dietary allergies if you ask me. read more

This is a great juice press with fantastic customer service. I was just in here and there was a woman in front of me that was so rude in the way she asked to have her smoothly re-blended. If you ask "is it supposed to be this chunky," and the employee offers to re-blend it and you keep asking if it's supposed to be this chunky, you're off to a bad start. Is every smoothy you've ever made perfect? Probably not, so just ask for it to be re-blended politely. I actually couldn't believe how accommodating everyone was when clearly the lady was very hard to communicate with. A+ customer service and I had a great smoothy, perfectly blended. read more

I have been coming here every day ( not kidding, every day) since December and I've yet to have a bad experience, actually they've all been stellar. I usually get a smoothie, some of my faves are fountain of youth, cactus cooler & heaven on earth, a green juice, either green giant or doctor earth & a food item, the raw oatmeal is my fave. The staff is super friendly, even when I show up just as soon as they are opening the doors for the day. They are always offering samples to try new things and are super helpful & excited when we venture from our regular and try something new. Just another of the great organic juice and food locations which I love to frequent. Lucky working on the upper east side there are locations which I can easily get to. This location seems to be a bit overwhelmed, maybe because a lot of upper east side soccer moms come in at all times so their is a constant traffic coming in and they have not staffed accordingly. Some of the juices are good but everything is overpriced. They're also a bit heavy-handed on with the salt, often ruining the taste by overdoing it. The most negative aspect of Juice Press, however, comes when you order from them. Do not EVER place an order and expect it to come on time (and without at least 1/4 of the products missing). I actually ordered the night before last and am still waiting for my order. Have called twice. At this point they really should comp me but instead all I get are excuses.
