9. Watermelon and Lychee Smoothie
Anthony P.

RATING: 8.5/10 (not for the boba though) PRO TIP: Yes the viral watermelon lychee drink is -the- drink to get. Their secondary focus is boba, so don't count on it being competitive with the amazing boba options in NYC. WATERMELON LYCHEE SMOOTHIE First of all ... refreshing wouldn't even begin to cut how this drink makes you feel. Perfect for a hot summer day. Heard all about this drink on IG and the combination of refreshing watermelon with the creaminess imparted by lychee is so so wonderful. It melts fast, so drink fast, though! The key to this place is the fresh fruit they use for all their drinks, so the quality is truly there. One of the TOP ways to cool down this summer! And that's that. I also tried their MANGO PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE at a separate location, and was thoroughly refreshed by that one as well, which melts more slowly. But again, fresh ingredients = amazing product. FINAL CATEGORY: EXCELLENT (terrible / bad / ok / good / great / EXCELLENT)

Açaí punch smoothie

Açaí Punch is my go to. Fast service. Phone number on google doesn't work to preorder.

Yummy açaí bowl

They're generous, well priced, quick service. I've been here a handful of times and I've been satisfied each time. One of the better açaí bowl spots I've hand in the city.

Acai Smoothie

One of the better smoothie places in the UES. The workers are friendly and prepares your order pretty quick! All the ingredients that they use are super fresh.

33. Hawa Shake Drink
Najwa G.

I went to Hawa a couple of times when I had my rotations nearby and the quality of the smoothies were great as the ingredients were always fresh. I tried a couple different ones and the Hawa Shake had to be my favorite and the Kale Monster Smoothie was my least favorite (I think it wasn't as blended well as it could've been). The prices are reasonable for smoothies in the area as well.

29. Passionfruit Green Tea
Ina F.

Great spot for bubble tea. A bit of a limited menu for it, but the store does have açaí bowls and smoothies. The passionfruit green tea was great, but I think next time, I'll ask for less bubbles. It felt like 50% of my drink was bubbles!

Acai smoothi large $8

The smoothies are pretty solid here. I got the açaí smoothie and it was delicious. Next time I already want to try the avocado smoothie. The prices here are descent considering the area and the quality of the ingredients are good. Fairly new in the upper east side neighborhood and I'm sure it's a welcome healthy addition to the food choices you have here. First impression is good! Place is small but clean. Only 2 seats available on the counter window.

This smoothie/bubble tea spot may be small, but its offerings are fresh, fairly priced delicious concoctions. I couldn't resist the temptation to stop by and peruse their smoothie, cold pressed juice, and bubble tea menu. The reviews on Yelp say their bubble tea isn't the best so I picked the Mango Passionfruit Lychee smoothie from their bestsellers and hoped for the best. At $6 for a size medium, these smoothies are a Manhattan gem. The smoothie was a heavenly refreshment with strong passionfruit and mango flavors and a more subtle lychee flavor. It didn't have any hint of artificial sweeteners or flavoring and the freshness of the fruits shone through.

Went in for a Large black milk tea w tapioca pearls and a brain booster drink. It was made quickly. The store has UVC lights at the top so super sanitary. Standing room only.

Juice/Smoothie menu

Review for smoothies and oatmeal only...not a bubble tea girl. My coworkers and I pretty much order from here weekly now for breakfast. The smoothies are delish and the oatmeal is the BEST I have ever had. It's not on the menu but it's creamy rolled oats and includes chia, strawberries, mango, and coconut flakes with honey. I usually add a scoop of peanut butter in the center (bc I am nuts for nuts). The avocado smoothie is great too. They have a lot of milk choices and boost options as well. In comparison to the more mainstream juice shops like Juice Generation and Pressed Juicery, this place has cheaper options to meet your health fix (ex. $5 for medium and $6 for large basic smoothies). Never had the acai yet but I plan to try it soon!

Original Bowl

Best açaí bowl I've ever had! Super refreshing and filling. I love smoothies and bowls and this is by far the best I've had as it wasn't soggy, was made quickly, comes with mango topping!

I think this is a…read morechain & I've had their bayside location, which was good, so I am glad they have one in Astoria too. My go-to is the açaí bowl (original - classic size) just the way it is, no customization. I haven't tried their other bowls but the UBE & coconut sounds very good too! Oh yea, if you don't feel like chewing, they have all their açaí bowls in smoothie form too. Refreshing, vibrant, and packed with flavor. The açaí is smooth and slightly tart, balanced by sweet fruits and a satisfying crunch from granola. They also say their granola is "home made" which definitely adds that extra crunch. A light yet energizing treat that makes you feel as good as it tastes. Perfect for those hot NYC days...(and cold when winter comes).

I grabbed a Green Bowl (pictured; blended spinach, banana, mango, kale, and almond milk, granola,…read morestrawberries, mangoes, blueberries) for breakfast, subbing the coconut and honey for peanut butter and hemp seeds. The person behind the counter made my bowl quickly and got the substitutions correct. I got a classic size, and it was quite large, though expensive. The fruit was all very fresh, and the green mixture tasted great. I would definitely eat this again. The SoBol space was nice, though it was deserted while I was there. The space is designed for ones and twos, or small groups at most to eat their bowls or drink their smoothies, and then leave.
