I go to a heck of a lot of places and this isn't always true! My favorite smoothie is the wundershowzen - love the extra kick of peanut butter. The quinoa is very good for lunch too! This location is located on Brodie and Slaughter at the end of the Randall's strip mall. It has a drive thru - score! Join the loyalty program! It truly pays! All good Juice/Smoothies are pricey so no complaints about that! I've never had a drink I didn't enjoy here. Definitely check it out! I realize now by looking at the website, but the Daily Special board at the register doesn't make it clear that you are getting an 18 oz for 14 oz price - I thought it was just the same price as the menu which was confusing. I ended up ordering the carrot/ginger special when I saw that 50% of profits were going towards a refugee center - very cool! The employee asked me what size, and I said 'regular' which I know isn't very clear. The total rang up as 8.61 and so when I walked away and checked the menu prices and it looks like that was the total for the largest size incl. tax. I figured it was strange that she rang me up for a large, because I would think 'regular' would be either the small or medium.. but oh well, I figured, I'd enjoy the extra smoothie. My favorite place to assist in detoxing after a bender of gorging myself with unlimited amounts of food. Time to grab a smoothie from Juiceland. My favorites are any of the green smoothies. I enjoy the fresh fruits with the addition of kale, spinach, spirulina or other heathy additives. Also if I've had an intense workout any of the protein smoothies The staff at the Brodie location are very friendly and helpful with assisting you with picking a drink. I work nearby and LOVE this place! For daily detox, I pick up almost daily the Tigerlilly cold pressed juice (green juice, totally low glycemic). For lunch or afternoon snack, the Super Happy Fun Sushi Bowl and Clean and Soba Noodle Bowl are my go to ready mades. Vegan, gluten free but so tasty! The spicy queso kale chips are addictive. Who knew that cashews and nutritional yeast can provide a satisfying substitute for cheese? I signed up for the customer loyalty program and receive all sorts of goodies. Update (3/12/16): the manager reached out quickly to rectify the situation, and was very professional in handling my issues. I haven't experienced any of these problems since she did so, and I'm appreciative of her consideration. Original review: I love the smoothies! But service leaves much to be desired. About half the time, my order is wrong. What's weird about it? It's often made the wrong way the same way. I don't understand. This happens when it's busy or dead, and at every single location. I don't have a complicated order, but when you're paying $7 for a smoothie it's seriously aggravating to find out after you've left that you have a smoothie with beets instead of blueberries. This problem has only gotten worse with the new special smoothie with raspberries and cacao. Of the last 4 times my order has been messed up, 3 times I have recieved this raspberry one. Juiceland is by far the best smoothie place in Austin. All natural ingredients, no additives, and great supplements (spirulina, wheatgrass, hemp protein, and many more)! I'm so glad they finally opened one down south! If you've never been, you gotta try the Originator; it's filling enough to count as a meal. Their shots are pretty great too. My favorite is the Medicine Man; a great pick me up during the day! Get a punch card. And check out their daily specials. Oh and call ahead if you want to use the drive thru. They have really delicious, Fresh smoothies. I am a regular here. The service is friendly and fast. I was going to try the soba noodle bowl yesterday but the price I was going to be charged was $1 more than the price on the menu. My husband told the lady working there that, but she would not change the price. I understand it is only a dollar but it is the principle of honoring the price that is printed on the drive through menu, so I did not try the bowl. read more

Let the buyer beware: I had an unfortunate experience with this location of JuiceLand last week. After deciding to kick off a new pattern of nutrition with a Juiceland-style one-day cleanse, I purchased the recommended 6-pack Friday in preparation for Saturday's cleanse. After consuming the first bottle, and lining up the other five in the order suggested in the web site, I noticed that four of them had tiny stickers on them which indicated that they had expired the day I purchased them! Concerned, I phoned the store to see if I could exchange those four unopened bottles for fresh ones. After checking with the manager about it I was told NO. That I could bring back the bottles for a "discount," but not for replacements. When I asked for specifics about the "discount," I was told that the manager would decide that upon my bringing in the expired ones. Really?? I asked the unfortunate person on the phone if consuming the expired ones would be harmful, and the answer was, "Probably not. The staff drinks expired ones all the time, but we wouldn't recommend it." Really??? At that point I realized I was too angry to drive over there and have a civilized talk with said manager. I consumed the juice with no ill effects, but my experience was definitely tinged with doubt about the nutritional efficacy of very pricey, but expired juices. I shall not be returning to this establishment, not with this kind of disrespectful customer service. I gave it two stars only because of past experience and a good product. The moral? Reserve trust until you determine that what you consume is freshly made. Check the labels carefully, because you might be the only one interested in what you consume. read more

I. Love. JuiceLand. I come here ALL the time. Probably more than I care to admit. I usually go thru the drive-thru on my way home from climbing which is a nice pick-me up. Sometimes the drive-thru is slow and takes a while, which is unfortunate for people who want a quick grab-and-go. So I'd say that's the only problem I have with JuiceLand. But oh my gosh the customer service is BEYOND amazing. Everyone is so friendly and looks like they love working there - which really plays a huge role in how the customers are treated. One of the guys was extremely helpful, I went in to make a two day cleanse and he advised me what was best. I absolutely LOVE smoothies and was on the hunt for a really great smoothie place near home. I've never been to a JuiceLand before so when I walked in, I wasn't sure what it is I wanted. Thankfully, the sweetest worker greeted me and she helped me pick out the Bam Bam. Cashier was super helpful as well and very personable.
