I came here with my daughter today because I heard there was a juice bar in S Austin I wanted to try. It took me a minute to remember what it was called and where it was. When I remembered it took us no time to get there. My daughter had nothing but complaints and then she picked up a juice out of the freezer. Her drink had lemon, pineapple, agave and blue spirulina. She said she wanted to try something new. I got the immunity one which had orange, carrot, pineapple, turmeric and lemon. I am not gonna lie I loved it. My daughter tried it and she didn't care for it, it didn't matter though bc it was for me. I did see some açaí bowls that I would like to come back and try. I will save it for another day when she isn't with me. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and I appreciate it. They were also helpful why we were looking at the menu. I was informed that drinks in the case with tags came with a free ACV Shot and I might try it next time.

Great drink. Fresh and flavorful. My only complaint is price. Very expensive for purée of fruit.

It wasn't too busy but most of the outdoor tables were taken, although there was plenty of indoor seating available when we visited. We went family style on a bunch of sides including Erin's Mac & Cheese, Korean-Style Chicken Wings, and Kale Fritters. All pretty good. I ordered the Tuna Salad Salad for myself which was good. There were so many to choose from it was difficult to decide. Will definitely be back to try some of the other options!

What especially caught my attention--perfect for a cool winter evening in Texas--was their mushroom stew with a vegan miso base. We ordered cups of the vegan mushroom stew to start, along with one of the seasonal specials, the yam string fries, and a shared plate of grilled tofu. The mushroom stew was very umami-forward, filled with miso broth and a variety of mushrooms. While it was comforting, it felt like it needed a bit more seasoning--either spice or salt--to really elevate it. I was also expecting something thicker or creamier since it was labeled a "stew," but the base was quite runny and brothy with steamed mushrooms. The grilled tofu was decent, with a nice color on the outside, though it was soft and could have used more flavor. The yam string fries were almost comically thin--extremely shoestring. Dipping them into sauce was a challenge because they were so tiny, but it was still fun to eat them while chatting. What really stood out was the atmosphere. The dining area is comfy and cozy, and the colorful wall décor adds a lot of character. It's a welcoming, relaxed space right on Congress. Overall, Vinaigrette is a cozy Austin spot with casual yet slightly upscale vibes, offering healthy salad, soup, and sandwich options. If that's what you're looking for, it's definitely worth a visit.

The concept has a lot of potential, but the menu feels like it's trying too hard and missing the mark. Also, please latch and secure the playground. A family-friendly restaurant should come with peace of mind, not an extra safety concern. I want local restaurants in this area to succeed, and I hope they find their stride. As of now, I'm missing NXNW in this space.

Outside there's a cute playground, gated, for the younger kiddos. Perfect for those who want to keep the kids occupied but also enjoy a snacky snack and a drink. There are plenty of gluten free options, and we ended up getting the Yardbird Chicken Sandwich on a gluten free bun, a complimentary Reuben sandwich on a gluten free bun, fish and chips, and a burger for the kiddo. All of them were great! Hubby enjoyed the fish and chips and the spray bottle with malt vinegar! Such a fun touch, nice and crispy, and the chips were crunchy and delicious. I actually really liked my chicken sandwich. While it looks standard, it was such a good bite, super filling, and since gluten free, I got a side salad which was nice and simple and light. The Reuben was GREAT! I was so excited I could have it since on a gluten free bun. The corned beef wasn't super greasy or heavy or too salty which I really appreciated, and the aioli was great to balance out all other parts of the sandwich. The slaw, pickles, everything were all so good, and definitely worth getting in the future! And our kiddo demolished the burger in a heartbeat! Add some great service - super kind, funny, and made me feel so safe eating there with an allergy. He was great, and even though he was busy, he did such a great job coming and checking in! We also had a pint of Lazarus Rice Lager which has been treated and is consumable for those with a gluten allergy (not Celiac)! I love Lazarus beers so much, especially this rice lager! So light and perfect on a hot day! We would definitely come back any time! Defintely worth the stop!

The service was great and attentive without feeling like anyone was checking in too much. I was sat at the chef's table and treated to a free appetizer so I appreciated that part. The wine and sangria stood out to me as thoughtfully curated, and the pretty warm and dim lighting kept the mood cool and calm on an otherwise hot summer day. Im always looking for new places to try around happy hour and felt sated but not blown away. All in all a positive experience though!
