It was very easy to order on the Tropical Smoothie Cafe app. I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread made with grilled chicken, bacon, tomatoes, romaine, cheddar and lite ranch dressing, and a Bahama Mama Tropical Treats Smoothie. The guy working was supper friendly and my order was ready to pickup and the place was very clean. Parking here is not a problem. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread was very large and folded like a gyro. It tasted great and had a nice flavor to it making a perfect lunch item. I recommend eating a lite breakfast before tackling this flatbread. The smoothie was huge too and tasted great. Like always the smoothie stayed cold hours melting very slowly. read more

I wanted to like Tropical Smoothie because the concept sounds exactly right: fresh ingredients, healthier options, and a quick meal that doesn't leave you feeling heavy afterward. Unfortunately, the name is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Everything is frozen, not fresh. The smoothies even taste like everything came straight from a freezer. Another surprise is how much sugar is packed into something marketed as a healthy option. Their "smoothie" is more like a slushie. The cup is mostly filled up with crushed ice. As it melts slowly, the green juice didn't taste like much of anything and the berry one tasted way too sweet (not sure if they add a sweetener etc). Also, the thermocol cups are so bad for the environment and absolutely ineffective for ice cold drinks in the car. It cracked within minutes, leaving a spectacular mess in the car. I had a terrible experience ordering from Tropical Smoothie Cafe through their app. What should've been a straightforward delivery turned into a frustrating waste of time and money. I placed my order through the app, and the estimated delivery time was about 40 minutes. However, the time kept getting delayed and eventually stretched out to over 2 hours--and the order never arrived. When I called the store to find out what was going on, I was told that the driver had already picked up the order, and that there was nothing they could do. The manager told me to call DoorDash customer support--even though I had placed the order through the Tropical Smoothie Cafe app. When I pointed that out, he redirected me again, saying I should call Tropical Smoothie Cafe customer support instead. Basically, no one wanted to take responsibility or make things right. No refund. No replacement. Just a runaround. This kind of service is completely unacceptable. Thick, creamy, and filling. It had the perfect combination of banana and peanut butter. My co-workers had the detox island green and starfruit smoothie. They said theirs was fruity and tasty. This place opened up only a few months ago, and now has become my new favorite cafe. Their food is mouth-watering, as are the smoothies. Additionally, their smoothies are MASSIVE. The service is amazing, you get your food as fast as 5 minutes and the workers are so sweet. There's also a coupon on your receipt after purchase which states that you get a $2 smoothie with a wrap/flatbread + a side of your choice. I'm incredibly shocked by the outcome of this store. I don't know if there's been a change in management or not, but there has been a significant decline in service, food quality, and cleanliness. Upon entering the store, the lobby is usually a mess. There's food crumbs on the tables, smoothie stains, and it seems like no one even makes an effort to sweep regularly. The lobby is nothing compared to the kitchen. I have only visited about three times in the past two months and every single time I've been extremely disappointed, especially as someone who's managed restaurants similar to TSC before. You'd expect that someone would be able to clean since the store is always overstaffed. There's noticeably mold above the sink for rinsing blenders. The counters are always a complete mess, covered in smoothie spills and straw wrappers. Everything is always unstocked and the store literally screams disorganization. The lack of quality and service is also noticeable too. It seems like almost every single employee I've interacted with has an attitude and hates their job. It's very rare to be served by an employee who isn't offended that you even walked into the store or an employee who is properly trained. I'm waiting for the day that my smoothie doesn't taste flavorless and my food order is actually made properly. I never write reviews. I've always hated the petty reviews customers would leave when I worked in food service. But I really am disappointed with the outcome of this store. The smoothies always taste fantastic and they're always made on time when ordering ahead on the app. The food entrees are also good and I've never had something from here I never liked. The smoothies always taste fresh and sweet. Finally the staff are always super kind and welcoming when coming in. Went in on my lunch break with my husband, ordered 2 sandwich combos. The Indian lady who taking my order had no idea what she was doing. I had to repeat my order multiple times and she still got it wrong.
