They handled all communication with the tent and rental company and gave us honest, thoughtful recommendations on everything from the tablescapes to the alcohol. We truly trusted Lenny, Allison, and the entire team throughout the planning process and never felt like we were being upselled, which we really appreciated. They were very transparent about pricing, and we felt their prices were fair for the quality of the food and level of service they provided. They are really more than just a catering company - they helped us plan and coordinate every aspect of the day. We walked through the timeline for dinner, dances, speeches, etc, and when the day came, Lenny was on-site overseeing it all and making sure the vendors (DJ, photographer, etc,.) were all on the same page. This eliminated so much stress since we did not have our wedding at a traditional venue - we even had to bring in bathrooms! Allison also helped us visualize our layout and table spacing which was so helpful when you're working from scratch. She also helped us sort out some last-minute issues with our tent when our anticipated guest count jumped from 125 to 150. The food was amazing! And plentiful. I'm still thinking about our sushi bar! Our tasting with Lenny was also such an enjoyable part of the planning process. Passed apps were so creative and I loved having so many options to choose from. And as an East End local it meant a lot to me to incorporate locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients, so I loved that Lenny took such care in crafting his menus. My husband and I also had a staff member, Bella, attending just to us. Everybody warns you how hard it is to eat on your wedding day but Bella made sure we had plates of appetizers waiting for us after cocktail hour - she was amazing! We spent 11 months planning our wedding, and I owe it to Moriches Catering for making the planning experience as stress free as possible. Their attention to detail was spectacular and they were always available for a call to discuss any questions. If there were any hiccups on our wedding day, I was completely unaware of them, which is exactly what you want as a bride. They are that good, and their price was totally reasonable. From the beginning, I knew we were in great hands. They provided us with DJ / MC / Sound / Lights / Video in one simple package, they even created a beautiful 250 pic video photo montage for us that was beautiful. They communicated with our other vendors through out the night and followed the planned script perfectly and played all music as previously selected as well as all the typical dance standards. It was LIT as my daughter said when it was over (which we didnt want to end). The questionnaire used for planning was all online as well as their catalog of services provided. Ivan was super accommodating and played all the songs we requested. He was on point with the wedding day itinerary and helpful with suggestions. We had some guests who also DJ and they came up to me raving about how his song mixes/wordplay was spot on. The photo booth was a hit - highly recommend and you receive a link to all photos/gifs taken. We also added on the saxophonist and 8 ft robot. Rob was also fantastic and I'm so glad DUDJ's provided him as the MC. High energy, big smiles, and these two were able to read to crowd and perform accordingly. Their DJ light setup was soooo much better than other DJ's I vetted (not to mention the others were upselling this and Drive Up provides this as a standard). I would have zero hesitation booking this team again and will be recommending them to all friends/family for future events.

We were deciding between a few caterers and had a tasting with the Perry's that just sealed the deal. My (now) husband and I walked out of there saying it felt like we just had lunch with our aunt & uncle, it felt like we had known them that long! They are two amazingly warm people -- of course it helps that John is incredibly organized and good at his job and that Nikki makes the most delicious bites. We devoured every little last bite at that tasting.. Nothing went to waste! John was so helpful with everything leading up to the day of as well, from picking out rentals, to working out our timeline. We decided to have a different format (cocktail stations as opposed to a formal sit-down dinner) and working together, John helped us make sure we'd have a smooth flow and that everything would go off without a hitch. As we were working out the details with the rentals, I never felt like he was pushing me one way or the other -- even when he put together the list of kitchen items they'd need (my venue did not provide any set-up), I knew he was being careful about not over-ordering. I really felt like he had my best interests in mind at all times. Having him to coordinate all the details made me feel at ease.. I knew I was in good hands! On our actual wedding day, we were so well taken care of. The staff made sure we were eating (haha, doesn't always happen at weddings!) and everything ran so smoothly. Later in the evening, a very traumatic family emergency happened during the reception that put a frightening pause on the celebration. John was a rock and I really felt like I looked to him for the "What now?" John & Nikki were different from some of our other vendors with whom we'll probably not be in touch again.
