Love this place! I don't think I've had one thing off their menu that I didn't enjoy. Customer service is always on point, even when they get busy. Inside the juice bar is small but clean. I always wonder why it is that when an establishment shuts down, another place of the same type opens in that same location. In this case, a chain shuts down "Jamba Juice" shuts down, and an independent juice bar Jujubar opens in its place. What I liked: - A voluminous menu that includes not only your sugar ridden yogurt smoothies, but also a whole section dedicated to fresh juices and veggie blends. - The addition of bowls to match the current trend of acai bowls (though this is probably a short term fad like all the others) What I don't like: - The menu is in such small print, I could barely distinguish it all. I went into total choice paralysis, and couldn't decide. They need to have menus on the counter that you can look through, possibly with highlighted favorites that jump out from the 45 other options. - The price point was a little steep IMO, especially for the fresh juices. 3.5 Stars read more

This place is my go to Acai bowl place! The Amazon Bowl and Garden Bowl are amazing, perfectly balanced toppings to Acai blend ratio. The bowls also don't have that sugary/too sweet taste that some other places have. These taste like a blend of healthy, raw ingredients and are absolutely delicious. Also they have a juice called the Toxin Filter, I can't speak to if it helps hangovers or any of that, but what I do know is that it tastes like a delicious healthy juice. The cucumber and lemon really come through, the rest of the flavors are subtle. Highly recommend! read more

I've had some bad experiences at this place in the past, but today was the *last* straw! I went in to get an açai bowl for my pregnant wife; she didn't know which bowl she wanted but was too tired to come in herself, so I told her I'd take a picture of the menu and text it to her, so she could tell me which one she wanted. A young woman and an old Asian man greeted me when I walked in. I took out my iPhone to take a picture of the açai bowl menu, and the Asian man jumped up in front of my phone and started waving his arms, saying I can't take a picture. It was so bizarre, that I thought he was joking or being funny, and said to him, you're joking right? He very seriously replied, my manager said nobody can take pictures. I told him my story, and how I only wanted to send the picture to my pregnant wife who was out in the car, so she could tell me what to get her. He very rudely and coldly told me that she could come down and look at the menu herself and that he wouldn't allow me to take a picture! Furious with his rudeness, I asked to speak with his manager. He very quickly told me fine, go ahead and take your picture already! I told him that I was no longer interested in anything they have to sell, but wanted to let somebody in management know exactly what happened and to explain to me why I was treated so rudely. He then walked into a back office and began talking to someone I couldn't see -- but I could see the old Asian man the entire time. Meanwhile, the poor young woman who was making the smoothies kindly told me that she remembers how difficult it was for her to move around toward the end of her pregnancy, and seemingly commiserated with me; after a few minutes the Asian man returned. He smiled and told me that his manager said I could go ahead and take my pictures. I told him I didn't want to buy anything from them ever again, and that I would not leave until I spoke with the manager. He then sheepishly told me that he in fact was the owner! I asked him what about that manager you were speaking to in the back, to which he replied, there was nobody there. That was all I needed to hear; I told him that this was the *worst* customer service I have ever received, and that I would leave him a nasty review on Yelp. So here it is. Sorry for the ramblings of verbosity, but I wanted to make sure I got down all the details of this too-crazy-to-be-true ordeal. To be fair, the actual products they sell are very good (or else I wouldn't have come back here more than once) but today's egregious display of rudeness was the absolute last straw. Nothing is worth this kind of treatment. And btw, what the *hell* are you trying to protect by preventing people from taking pictures of your dumb menu?!? You think some renegade upstart smoothie joint sent a mole into your store and this was how they were gonna learn all your secrets?!? Come on! read more

Pretty disappointed with Jujubar. I came here about 2 weeks ago and ordered the coconut banana smoothie. When I got into my car and drove down the block, I took my first sip. I bit down on a super hard chunk and realized it was brown coconut shell! I looked at the bottom of my smoothie and found multiple pieces of shell! I called them and the manager said "this never happens" and offered to give me a free smoothie. I never took him up on that offer, but I did come back a few weeks later to try a different smoothie. This time I came in and asked for a minute to look at their menu (which has about 50 smoothie choices). Two girls behind the counter were speaking to each other in Spanish. When I was ready, I walked up and said "ok i'm ready!" The girl at the register continued her conversation and then just started staring at me. I ordered and asked them to substitute orange sherbet for banana. She just said "$3.75." I asked if she heard the banana substitution part and she rolled her eyes and nodded. SO RUDE! And finally....when I got my smoothie, guess what was missing....the banana. Of course. Sorry Jujubar...I wont be returning. read more

Stopped by for a post workout meal. I liked how many options they have for acai, pitaya and gogi bowls. They also have descriptions and pictures, which makes ordering easy! I got the pitaya bowl, and the portion was pretty big for the price. They have a nuts, cranberry and golden raisin toppings bar for free! I really liked that! God I love Jujubar. I'm in here too much, but it is the best place in Orange County- which says a lot since these juice bars are popping up everywhere! I love the Pitaya Maya Bowl and the Piña Colada Bang, but I've had healthier items on the menu and have loved those too. Everything's fresh and you watch them make it. The amount you get for the price is better than Banzai Bowl, Milk and Honey, etc., and the staff is much friendlier! Juju will be OC's most talked about juice bar in no time. Jujubar is a tad bit more expensive than Banzai Bowls BUT, Jujubar puts a significant amount of more fruit on the bowl. And they use organic hemp granola. Then you put your own honey on. So good! Had a serious craving for an acai bowl and so naturally, I yelped the nearest place. This popped up as well as Banzai Bowls. I decided to go with the more "mom and pop" kinda shop. Yelpers were right, portions are huge. Right off the bat I was bombarded with (too many) options. I stared blankly for a while and just went with the classic acai bowl ($7.50 for a regular). It was good at first, but after a few more bites, it started to have this weird medicinal taste to it. I offered some to my co-worker and she agreed. Left a bad taste in my mouth. The consistency of the acai blend was also a bit too watery for my liking. I ate almost all of it but was still starving afterwards. Fruits were fresh and the extra self-serve toppings were a plus. This place is just okay IMO. Employees could have been a bit friendlier and with so many other places in the area serving acai bowls, I'm not sure if I would come here again. read more

It is pomegranate, strawberry and blueberry blend topped granola, coconut with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, kiwi and garnished with Bee Pollen. It's is a huge portion but i didn't even eat half of it. The blend itself had no flavor to it, I didn't like it at all. He greets with a smile and is pleasant, the girls on the other hand, act as if they don't want to be there which makes one feel uncomfortable. I've been to this place 3 times now and I love their menu options I've tried the Tigger bowl (love the melted penutbuter that you can taste every time you put the spoonful in your mouth) Watermelon Detox (The spearmint does taste like hierbabuena and it leaves a minty flavor in your mouth for a while even hours after when you burp lol) Toxin Filter (It tasted like ginger and you know you got your greens in the cup with this one) 1st time I went there it seemed like the staff was having a hard day but the bowls were awesome and our orders were done right so can't complain 2nd time there was a different lady and she seemed to be the owner not sure but seemed really nice 3rd time back to the same staff as the first time and this time they were really attentive and quick and our juices were just right. Kind of pricey at $7.95 for the smaller size, but they give you a friggin huge cup (perf for sharing with someone). But they didn't fill it to the top like in the pics :( You get to scoop almonds, nuts, choco chips, or raisins (but you're limited to two scoops). There is only two small tables and a bunch of stools so it's not much of a sit down/hang out spot. I would definitely be a regular if they had a half size that's cheaper.. read more
