I got The Buzz. Delicious and huge smoothie bowl. Love how they have options that include peanut butter in the blend here, makes me reminiscent of Blenders (shoutout to the 805). I just wish Jujubar had dairy alternatives! An oat milk or something to sub yogurt with.

I know this place through its Riverside location, and I'm so glad to see another location closer to home. The place is in a little spot that can get busy and leaving might be a bit difficult, but it's nothing too crazy. Service was average, orders came out reasonably for the busy times. Got the 24oz. Island Passion smoothie. They have so many to choose from as well as acai bowls and juices so there's bound to be something for everyone. Island Passion is a more tropical flavor, reminiscent to Caribbean Passion from Jamba Juice. Not too icy or too sweet! Loved this smoothie, it's one of my go-to's here! Overall, great stop for an early morning breakfast or post workout treat! Extensive menu, good price for portions, and quick service! Definitely a recommended stop for a healthier sweet treat!

On my way back home, I decided to stop by Jujbar to grab a juice but ended up ordering an açaí bowl instead. The place is small and located in a center that seems to offer a few healthy food options. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted or acknowledged, which made for a not-so-great first impression. I stood around for a few minutes trying to figure out where to order until an employee finally approached and took my order. Definitely not the warmest welcome. The menu on the wall was a bit overwhelming and hard to follow, with lots of options and customizations. It also felt a bit pricey for a juice bar. I ordered an açaí bowl that came out to about $13--definitely on the higher end--but to be fair, the portion was quite large, easily shareable. When I got my order, it was served in a tall cup instead of a bowl. While visually appealing, the presentation made it hard to actually eat--the layers (açaí, granola, fruit) were stacked in a way that made it difficult to mix without everything spilling. A shorter, wider bowl would have made a lot more sense and improved the overall experience. By the time I created some room to mix it up, the açaí had already started melting and turning watery. That said, the flavor was on point--fresh, well-balanced, and truly enjoyable. So while the execution could've been better, the product itself was tasty. Overall: The staff could be more welcoming, the prices are a bit steep, and the cup presentation needs rethinking. But if you're looking for a fresh and flavorful açaí fix, it's worth a try--just not a place I'd go out of my way to return to.

Jujubar is sooooo good. My favorite place for açaí bowls. I wish they had more locations!!!! Every time I'm in the area, I have to get it. The açaí is such a good sweetness, not too sour and not too sweet. The fruits taste so fresh and the granola sooo fluffy. Please please please open a location in NorCal!!! I'll come every week!!! I've been a loyal customer of Juju Bar since I was 19, and now I'm 26. The staff is consistently friendly and the interior is always spotless. I adore the freshness of everything. I finally tried jujubar to compare to Banzai bowl, and i had a great experience! I think the bowl itself was delicious and refreshing. There's a ton of options to choose from but not really room for modifications. Also more options if you like unique flavor combos. Definitely recommend! read more

Nice and fast service! The girl behind the counter helped recommend a smoothie to me. I got the white gummy and it was a bit sweet for my personal taste but it was very refreshing and fruity. Came here after a beach day and was craving a smoothie. It's hard to find places with quality smoothies that are not inside grocery stores or chains. This place has a ton of options and we tried the Aloha and Fiji one and both were insanely delicious. I preferred the Fiji one due to the coconut but the Aloha one was just as delicious. It's a small shop located in a plaza with plenty of parking. It's easy to get to and the service was fast. Ambiance was great and I will definitely be coming here again! read more

This place is definitely worth it--probably the best acai bowl in the area. I love it here because of the wide variety! I've been here numerous times, and my order is always accurate and delicious. The fruit is incredibly fresh, and they have some of the best granola around. My favorites are the bowls! There's tons of açaí shops nearby and I would highly recommend this place because it's affordable and taste amazing!! The staff are very friendly and attentive when it comes to customer service. Came here a few different times for either a smoothie, bowl, and green juice and every time has been great. Everything I've had from here I've been pleasantly surprised as to how delicious they are. I love the extensive menu of all different combos of fruits and flavors and protein bowls or smoothies. I was craving an acai bowl after hiking, and this hit the spot! I normally go elsewhere for acai bowls, but I decided to try Jujubar. I was so surprised at the size and how much you get. The Tiger Bowl was delicious! It's definitely not cheap, but this place gives you way more than other places, so it's worth the money, in my opinion. Service was good considering it was near closing time. It's really loud in there, obviously with the machines they use. I'd definitely come back again to try other bowls. read more

Great place to get your acai fix. They have such a vast menu option of acai bowls with so many mixes of flavor bases! And they give a very generous portion as well. I think it was just all one size and the bowl is very deep so it's easy eat without spilling all the contents. They are generous with fruit too, I loved the kiwi in my bowl. I couldn't finish it because it was so big but will definitely want to try the other items on this menu. read more

When I arrived it was 1:50pm the door was closed and they had a note saying closes at 2pm I still had 10min left and they had someone in there ordering and didn't let me in. They usually close at 5 PM regular days but today isn't a special holiday that was yesterday Thanksgiving. read more

My wife and I have been here several times and it's definitely one of the smooth/bowl places in SoCal! Their prices are extremely reasonable, portion sizes perfect, and quality of food is excellent. We've never once been disappointed, and Jujubar still far exceeds our expectations. Highly recommend to anyone! read more

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I get the tiger bowl every time. Stopped here on a whim without checking any reviews. No frills place with insane portions. The bowl is $13 but stacked with food. I genuinely crave this place once a week. It's amazing! I'd recommend calling ahead as it can get busy. read more

For my smoothie, I decided to make it myself, and there's so many options to choose from, whether it's the milk base, protein, add-ons, you name it! I think this was a really nice option to have, since I liked some drinks but not some of the ingredients used, so customizing my own smoothie was a great option to have.

Cross-contact becomes a concern, and I no longer feel at ease dining here. The branding around these new additions being described as "ethical" is the most frustrating part. They try to explain how their meet and eggs can be "ethical" but they don't even bother to try to explain how their raw dairy is "ethical." Probably because is no logical argument. Easily one of the best breakfast burritos I've had in Orange County. The balance of flavors is perfect, the ingredients taste super fresh, and somehow every bite still has a little bit of everything in it. I also appreciated that it didn't feel overly greasy or heavy the way breakfast burritos sometimes do. The space definitely gets crowded, especially on weekends, and finding a seat can take some patience. But honestly, grabbing a coffee and one of these burritos and hanging out for a bit is completely worth it. This is officially one of my go to breakfast spots in Costa Mesa.

This is my first visit TO JUJUBAR. I've read lots of mixed reviews of this place, but want to compare it to my favorite place, BANZAI BOWLS. I ordered a large acai POWER ALMOND BOWL. A nice feature here is that they have extra scoops of peanuts, almonds, chocolate chips, cranberries and raisins that one can add to their bowls. With the POWER ALMOND BOWL I ordered, almond butter is mixed with the acai, so I am sure it will alter the taste and texture, so please keep that in mind when interpreting my review or using it as a study for your college thesis. The acai is yummy, smooth and not freezing cold Toppings seem plentiful. Their regular size bowls seem to be the same size/quantity as Banzai Bowls, but their large bowls seem smaller. Came here on a whim and was kind of disappointed. Wanted something quick to snack on at 7am. Ever hear of the saying quantity over quality? I was immediately presented with too many options for acai bowls (as mentioned by other Yelpers). Ended up getting the classic acai bowl. Ever tasted a McDonalds smoothie? The bowl was of the same consistency and color. It was good, but I wasn't "wowed" by the taste. For $7-8 I expected a bit more. They offer free toppings (fruit, granola, honey). Customer service: not good. Cashier wasn't friendly. Maybe it was early, but a fake smile would have been nice. All in all, stick with your fast food parfaits. read more

everything is good about this place taste and price wise. it is big cup of acai with a lot of fresh fruits and granola. it is my after-surf food every time i surf Newport beach. the only thing i don't like is that it is served in a cup. so the first few spoons you cant really get to the acai unless you are ok with dropping some of the fruit on the table. it is a sacrifice of fruit vs acai. too bad. served it in a bowl so it is easier to mix. read more

This place rocks. Best smoothies and açaí bowls. The pricing is extremely affordable especially when compared to other açaí places. I go here at least once a week for the peanut butter smoothie. Juju Bar has been a staple in my day. Right when I walk through the door they know my regular routine. This is one of the few spots in Orange County that actually takes the time to be genuinely courteous to their customers.
