I've been here a couple times now, and I definitely love the acai bowls! I don't like however, how long it typically takes to receive your order... Last time I came in I think there was only one couple ahead of me, and I waited nearly 20 minutes for my order! I also noticed they put a sign up saying you can only have 2 tiny scoops of almonds or chocolate nibs? This is pretty stupid considering how much one of these bowls costs! I found juju bar and was excited about the picture menu so I decided to try the tsunami bowl, while the bowl delicious looking I found the acai to be very thin and watery....it is usually the consistency of frozen yogurt not juice! Our favorite juice bar! We get breakfast there every day and it's easy to do because there is such a huge variety of menu items to choose from here. Their acai bowls are out of this world and we love that the blended base isn't watery and flavorless like a lot of other places. The staff and owner are also very friendly. There isn't a high turnover here so you get a real friendly family vibe here. I came to JuJu Bar for the first time this morning to see what this place is all about. I usually go to the Starbucks on the corner for my ice tea in the mornings, but I was bored of that today. I'm not much for juicing -- something about eating solid food in liquid form makes me feel like my jaw is wired shut -- however, I'm doing the paleo diet right now and needed something healthy and delicious for breakfast that didn't break the rules. I got the Toxin Filter (ginger, spinach, cucumber, pineapple, apple, lettuce, lemon, parsley). I actually really like it!! It isn't too green tasting, but they didn't load it up with high calorie fruit either. The man who was working was pleasant and fast. Very yummy really fresh! Passed by and wanted to give it a try. They had a wide variety of choices so you can do bowls, smoothies and fresh juices. Even detox shots which were cool (but I didn't try cuz I'm a chicken when it comes to some of them they had some with cayenne pepper not my style) I tried the lollipop smoothie without yogurt and it reminded me of flintstone ice cream back when I was a kid it was awesome!
