Amazing food in an intimate little restaurant. We've had salads, soup, and pizza here and have really liked it. Their desserts are great as well. The ambiance of the place, and its location just next to the theater makes it a great place to go before or after a play/concert, whether you're dressed casually or classy. We have never been disappointed here, aside from some rude comments made by another customer one time. We don't go here nearly as often as we should. I highly recommend it. read more

Prior to my visit, I have heard quite a bit about Jules' Bistro but had never actually gone there. I ended up going here for lunch on Hockey Day Minnesota, so it was a bit crowded, but it definitely did not affect the experience. Since it was a chillier day, I ended up having the half sandwich/half soup special. I ended up choosing the soup of the day (Lamb & Chickpea Soup), and the Turkey Artichoke Panini. Absolutely delicious! I have not encountered many places that offer a combination of turkey and artichoke in a sandwich. After this experience, I wish more would. Jules' also have a full espresso bar, so we were able to order some coffee and a latte. Wherever Jules' gets their coffee, don't change it up. It just added to the experience to have a quality cup of espresso/coffee with this delicious meal. Also, for those with dietary restrictions, there are a variety of gluten-free and vegan options available. This is a nice find in downtown St. Cloud for either lunch or dinner. Also, for whom it may apply, there is a date night special (applies every night of the week) for $41 that includes an appetizer, a whole homemade pizza, and a full bottle of wine. Jule's is the heart and soul of St. Cloud. The food is good, the drinks are better, and the atmosphere is superb. Wonderful staff who are a reflection of outstanding management. Would We Go Again? Yes, we would go again to Jule's Bistro! While we would skip the beef and mushroom chili, the Avocado Portabella Rueben and the Turkey Pesto Panini were both something that we will be recommending to others. Good ambiance, good music. My breakfast burrito was great, and coffee good. That being said, at the risk of sounding too American the portion size of the rest of the breakfast was laughable. The toast was like a cracker and not much eggs. Cold pressed coffee was more like regular coffee poured over ice. I've heard the lunch is good though. 31March18 @ 6pm A couple of people in there when we arrived. Service was friendly. Small high ceiling room with lots of local art. Windows facing on to street. We had pizza and beer and wine. The black and bleu and the rosemary chicken. Two pizzas were plenty for the three of us. The pizza was good with a nice thin crust but the toppings were a bit sparse. It was quite cold inside on a a quite cold and windy day. The restaurant seems to be houseless friendly for use of the restroom. read more

Wonderful spot for breakfast! Unique offerings (chilaquiles, Monte Cristo with french toast) and traditional breakfast items. Very yummy! The bread offerings, made in house, are very interesting (cranberry and wildrice-- so MN) and oh so good! The staff was wonderful! We will go back soon for lunch or dinner. read more

Today we took a day trip to St.Cloud and I decided we should eat in their downtown area,after seeing a million strip mall places. What a delight JULES BISTRO was! From the moment we arrived the staff was so informative and welcoming. We decided to stay for lunch.The menu was impressive,esp. since Covid. They clearly have an excellent product.The menu had a plethora of amaising selections. The desert was to die for.It was a huge slice of carrot cake with a sweet cream cheese frosting. Our starter was a delight too, it was a goat cheese with assorted dried fruit upon buttered slices of french bread. All items were hand crafted, our waitress also was very informed about the menu items .I would suggest a trip there just to dine at JULES BISTRO! read more

I absolutely love Jules Bistro! Weather you're stopping before catching a play, having a date night, or even meeting with a client or boss their food is so delicious. Their coffee and tea is locally bought as well and it warms my heart to see businesses support each other. Another major thing that is so amazing is how inclusive they are! Weather you're vegan, vegetarian, or just a meat lover they have something for you. From not only the food, but the tea and coffee as well! Providing Almond, oat, and coconut! There are so many fun and wonderful favors. Trust me it's not as overwhelming as it seems! The staff here are committed and some of the most wonderful and nicest people I've ever interacted with even with COVID they make sure you feel safe and clean. Found Jules' Bistro via Yelp when looking for a non bar lunch on our way to Leech Lake. Lots of yummy salad, wrap and sandwich options. I had the Apple Panini as suggested online. It was very good. My husband had a half Rachel with Curry Chili. The chili was fabulous- wish I had ordered a cup! Tons of combo options. If I lived in St Cloud I would definitely be a frequent lunch guest. We had Jules cater a small retirement party and were so pleased with our experience. The catering manager Mel was so helpful. When we wanted to go in a different direction from the original menu presented it was no problem. Communication was efficient and we were responded to very quickly if there were questions. When our party date arrived the food was delivered on time and with everything needed to plate and serve. The food was delicious and it looked great. Our team especially loved the mushroom caps stuffed with risotto and the raspberry almond cupcakes with meringue. Another great thing is that Jules uses locally sourced food as much as possible and all of the serving plates and containers were recyclable. I absolutely love Jules! They have such a wide variety of food, from breakfast all the way to dessert. While I personally don't have any meal restrictions, they have All kinds of vegan, vegetarian and gluten friendly options for those that do. I recently met up with Donella and Mel to discuss setting up a custom catering to have for my wedding dinner and honestly felt like I was sitting with my own family. They are both so welcoming and had a ton of ideas on how to make this dinner special, not only for me and my fiancé, but also for our family and friends. If you get a chance, stop in and get a slice of their Sweet Miss Chocolate cake or their Carrot cake, they are both to die for. read more

I've been to Jules a handful of times and we really enjoy coming here. It's a great date night spot in my opinion. So glad they expanded. It is a little loud if it's really busy, but not a big deal. One of my least favorite things that some chefs do is over cook bacon, so that it is so crispy it is dry, hard, and tasteless. I ordered a sandwich today at Jules' Bistro that had the most perfectly cooked bacon I've ever had outside my kitchen. It was tender and juicy without being soggy. And, the sourdough bread was thick, but not too thick. And, it was toasted perfectly. The service was also really incredible. Our server greeted us often with a smile, enthusiasm, and plenty of refills. She delivered our food promptly, and came back often to check-in and make sure we were enjoying our food. When my friend was not completely happy with the dressing on her salad, the server cheerfully brought a different kind. St. Cloud is the capital of the Chain Restaurant, so you have to hunt a bit to find a local eatery. Jule's Bistro is a tasty, civilized alternative to the string of downtown bars along St. Germain Street and the wasteland of chain restaurants west of town along route 23. Our table ordered three items. First was a pizza special of the day (chicken, pesto, goat cheese) that was crispy and tasty. Not the "authentic" Neapolitan pizza you might get at Punch, Pizza Nea, or Bricks, but really delicious and better than 90% of the pizzas you would get at a restaurant. The second item we sampled was a portabella reuben (no meat.) The sandwich was tasty and satisfying, with fresh ingredients and good bread. Our third selection was the half sandwich & cup of soup, half a Rachel (Reuben made with turkey instead of corned beef) and a cup of chicken/corn chowder. Both were standouts, flavorful and substantial. The only downside was that the restaurant was full and there was only one server. I got tired watching him race from table to table, and we skipped dessert because the poor guy dashed over with our completed check and I didn't want to make him redo it to accommodate a serving of flan. (I checked out the baked goods in the display case, and they looked kind of run of the mill--three kinds of Bundt cakes, a couple varieties of cookies--but I didn't taste any of them.) Our bill, including tip, was about $35 for three diners, but if we'd had drinks (they serve beer and wine) and dessert it would have come to more like $50 or $60. There was enough variety on the menu that I am looking forward to going again. read more
