Plus, that dentist was in greenwood and my wife and I had moved to the far west side of Plainfield. So we began searching. Luckily, so luckily, we found Dr. Maupin. When we first got our teeth cleaned here, my wife had 7 cavities and I had 8! That was 6 months after our previous cleaning with the above mentioned, likeable, expensive dentist. So, although he was likeable, he clearly was doing nothing to help our oral health. After 3 years, some fillings, and a multitude of cleanings at Saratoga Family Dental with Dr. Maupin, we still love it here. We recently moved to the north east side of Indianapolis. Our new home is near a plethora of dentists, but we drive 45 miles just to see Dr. Maupin. If you need dental work, get here now. You won't regret your decision.

It had been a while since I got my teeth cleaned and they did a really good job of that and also found a couple of cavities. I went back for follow-up appointments on the cavities and they were able to get them filled. I have had no trouble with the fillings and the whole process was fairly painless. I always go by myself so they have to do the numbing with shots as nobody goes with me to drive me. So that part is a little painful but they do a topical numbing before they do the shots and it makes it much better. If you are looking for a dentist in the Greenfield area I recommend both Doctor Brian and Doctor Trent as both of them have worked on my teeth.

About two weeks later ( as I was preparing for a trip out of country ) both became abscessed! I found a wonderful endodontist in Indianapolis that did root canals on both teeth. I was very disappointed that Dr. Kirkwood filled two teeth that should have been evaluated for root canal treatment beforehand. He also had a technician finish the filling, something I had never experienced before. She took over after he did the drilling. I went to this practice based on the many positive recommendations on his father, who I don't think practices anymore. I really sense they are a great team and I feel I am taken good care of. I also like that they provide clear explanations to all procedures, so I know why what is needed and what to expect. When I found that Dr. Mark Bohnert had hired two of the very trusted professionals who had assisted Dr. Hayes I decided that I would make an appointment and see how it went. It was further than I usually would drive, as I'm near downtown and have heard of some excellent dentists there. I have now been to see Dr. Bohnert and am very happy with him personally and his office and staff. This is a family dentist's office! If you are looking for a dentist's office that is modern, highly professional, and family friendly I recommend you pay them a visit. I am completely satisfied. I will miss Dr. Hayes. Can't eat a sandwich without cutting it into small pieces. I can't eat anything hard due to the teeth not hitting hardly at all on the left side of my mouth. When I went back he was every rude I was trying to explain the teeth didn't meet and line up with my upper teeth I didn't even get to tell him what the problem was and he started yelling at me and told me he would allow me to use the temporary denture until I could find another dentist to make a permanent denture. I have had bad experiences with dentist in the past. But this was by far the worst ever. I would not recommend him to anyone.
