I had an emergency extraction. I got an appointment the day after I called which in this day an age is almost impossible. They wanted to help my pain and really care about their patient. Not only did they take care of my pain they did a thorough exam to see what else was going on. Emily Rister helped me with insurance or lack of as well as a plan that works for my budget. She is also the hygienist and does a great job and is so experienced and helpful. Assist Jenea was also was very nice and very helpful. Dental Sindhura Vegesna was wonderful helping me with so many thing she as all of the people that worked on me was very informative, professional yet kind and caring. Dr Peterson and Dr Gebru really care about their patients and you can tell. The facility in Greenwood has a caring staff and I am 61 so I have been to many Dentist offices through the years and this has been my best experience ever !!!! Just goes to show many who feel they had a bad experience will post yet those who have great experiences do not take the time to post and this should change. Just shows that reviews can be deceiving. Made me realize check places out for yourself. This offices is top notch. read more

I just had some dental work done at the Greenwood office of Aspen Dental. I would say ""Dentist's office", but the Dentist doesn't perform the work. He just checks the finished product that his young assistants perform. I even told him that he gets a lot of credit for dental work while not doing much. I felt like I was at a dental school, but less. These assistants weren't even dental students. It is definetly an amateur level dental stop. read more

This office only wants and cares about money not the patient. They were too busy gossiping and chatting the dentist and office staff when I arrived. Then I was informed my appointment was canceled by the end of the day yesterday at 5:00 because I didn't get the message about insurance information needed. I have insurance but I also work and did not have time to get back to them prior to closing. They also cannot treat anything other than cleaning the teeth and sending you somewhere else. I took off for my appointment and showed up 10 minutes early and they refused to see me. I have gone there for 2 years and that's how they treat their loyal patients. I have been scared seeing the dentist my entire life but being in this dental office makes me feel comfortable and well taken care of. Going in the receptionist did ask us nicely and even told us about the savings plan they have after knowing we didn't have insurance at the moment. Going in Sindhura the dental assistant is very professional and make you feel like you are a family. She answered my question with positive attitude and just very amazing. Makes me feel at ease. The Dentist Dmd Peterson is very knowledgeable, Explained and treated me with no Judgement. Super amazing! Don't mind driving from Bloomington to Greenwood. I adjusted my schedule for an appointment at Aspen Dental 331 S Rd 135 Greenwood, Indiana. When I showed up, they informed me they had canceled the appointment because I'd not RE-confirmed my appointment 24 hours beforehand. I didn't even get home the night before until after midnight and was not near a phone. If this is their policy, I don't see how I can ever make an appointment here and expect them to honor it. read more

I suffer from a disorder called trigeminal Neuralgia. I have been successfully managing the condition until about a week ago when I woke up with a mildly sore tooth and gum. The next day my Neuralgia flared up and I can't get it back under control. I went to this "so called" dental practice to simply see if I had an infection that was causing the flare-up. When I arrived the assistant too me back to get some x-rays which in and of itself was very painful du to the condition. Then I was taken to an exam room where the assistant proceeded to preform all sorts of procedures that had nothing to do with my specific issue. She was absolutely indifferent to my pain. I didn't need some elaborate dental plan, just acknowledgement of whether or not I had an infection. All they seem to care about is getting you in there and then roping you into their scheme of selling you all kinds of treatments. I will never return to an Aspen Dental and if you are smart you won't go there either. read more

I scheduled my first appointment with Aspen Dental as I was new to the area and wanted to get established with a dentist. I showed up for my appointment, filled out the necessary paperwork then was taken back to a chair. A young lady came over to ask me questions and to take some X-rays of my mouth. Once we were done, we went back to the chair, the hygienist came over and looked in my mouth and started shouting out numbers. She then stopped and up and left. A dentist came in and started looking in my mouth. The dentist then all of a sudden got up and left. I didn't quite understand what was going on, I got the impression that this place is just an assembly line. The young girl came back and said that I'm going to talk to the manager about my treatment plan? I sat down with another young girl who started up selling things to my treatment plan. I asked her about my cleaning and she said I have to come back for that????!! Seriously, I took off work and planned on getting my teeth cleaned and checked by a dentist and the cleaning never happened!!! I had to make an appointment for the following week to come back for a cleaning!! What a total scam!! I was pretty disgusted as I have been to dentists in multiple states and never had to come back for a cleaning!! Again, this place is nothing but an assembly line. I told my husband about my experience and he was shocked as well. I will not be back, I will find another dentist to take care of my teeth! read more

I started treatment with Aspen dental in Greenwood, IN about 5 months ago. I'm 30 years old, hadn't been to the dentist in 10 years, no dental insurance. I went in for a consultation and they got me set up with a treatment plan. After some cleanings and cavities being filled, I have to say I'm very satisfied. If you are like me and put off going to the dentist for a long time, Aspen is a great option. I feel healthier, and more capable of finding a better job with some insurance for the future. I should have started with them years ago. Big thanks to the ladies in reception, nurses, the hygienist, and Dr. Peterson. They care and want to help! Appreciate you guys! read more

If I could rate lower I would. My wife has been needing to have her wisdom teeth out and our regular dentists oral surgeon quit the practice suddenly on them and forced us to reschedule to this terrible company. At our regular dentist the removal was going to be $500 after insurance. At her consultation they told us the removal would be $800 so we agreed on that and paid the extra because she needed them out. Then we show up for her removal and they changed the price to $1,150 on us because apparently they didn't code enough anesthesia at the consultation and they "miscoded" her removals. I feel this is a deceptive bait and switch maneuver by this company to price gouge her procedure. If you don't want to pay more than double what a procedure should cost do not use this practice. read more

I chose this location because it easy easy to file an appointment and they were open on Saturday's. At the time, this was ideal for me. I had insurance but the allure of free x-rays and a cleaning was still too strong to pass up. The x-rays went okay but the person performing them was not gentle and seemed to be frustrated that I have a sensitive gag reflex. I went back to the exam room and the hygienist made a snide remark that someone my age should know how to properly floss. I explained to her that I brush twice daily and she told me to stop lying. My dental hygiene was poor as a child - I didn't have the luxury of regular dental visits - but it has improved greatly since. I ignored her comment. The doctor came in to examine me and tried to scare me by saying I needed seven fillings. Of course I was alarmed because you should be able to trust your dentist. (Spoiler alert: I had a second opinion and this was not true.) Before I could protest, they stuck me in their financial office. What began as a routine visit turned into me nearly spending $3,000 and running a hard check on my credit. I was told I needed the seven fillings, a deep cleaning AND a $250 toothbrush. I promptly left. I got a second opinion on all of this and my insurance paid every penny of what I needed done (one filling and a better cleaning than what had been done previously.) Not a great experience. I felt targeted due to my age. Be careful! read more

If I could give this location a zero rating, I surely would! The receptionist is very rude! They had scheduled my daughter for surgery today and we have known for a week that she would be getting all four wisdom teeth removed. Now today they called and informed us that she is only having an evaluation appointment. I wouldn't be so displeased had they been professional when informing us. I had to adjust a lot of schedules and pay a lot of money to rush here from Texas to be here with my daughter only to find out that this office incorrectly informed her of what this appointment would be! Terrible customer service!!!! And if they can't handle appointments, I surely don't trust them to conduct surgery on my daughter's teeth! read more

Aspen Dental in Greenwood, IN is lucky to have Dr. Tom Martin as their lead dentist! Dr. Martin is an awesome dentist and always ensures that his patients have a pleasant experience. He graduated from Indiana University Dental School and is very knowledgeable. He's always willing to spend time with patients to not only answer all of their questions, but to get to know them and build great rapport. We had a problem tooth that went from bothersome to horrible pain and called to make an appointment. The soonest they could get us in was a week and half later. They called the next day to see if we could come in that day but we couldn't make it. Fast forward nine days later, we show up for our 6pm appointment and they tell us that we cancelled it nine days earlier. We say "no, your office called to move it up but we couldn't make it, so we kept our existing appointment." They said "well , our system says you cancelled it." After arguing for a couple minutes they went to ask the multiple dentists that were working and they said they wouldn't squeeze us in. They've now left an elderly woman to wait at least four more days since every dentist office we've called so far is closed until four days from now. They recommended the emergency dental office, but the last time they pulled a tooth it cost her $600 and she's retired without insurance. HORRIBLE experience and horrible customer service. We will never recommend any office associated with aspen dental. read more

this is the 2ed posting. After the first posting, Aspen finally called me and stated that their records showed my work was completed. I was told that the partials that I am still waiting for must be with me, because the doctor at that time ( I have never seen the same doctor twice) could not find the partials, so I must have them instead. Not seeing the doctor, not seeing the partials and no one seems to know where they are at, I was asked to go ahead and pay for them. Stay away from this place. The management team changes between each visit and none of them accept what the previous management team promises. read more

Unprofessional, goes on vacation, no one else can do her job, whatever that is...Comes back from vacation and apparently forgets what her purpose is, to help customers and return phone calls? Horrible. I've seen a lot of other reviews about Aspen Dental in other places, and they aren't good. I think I'll go elsewhere. read more

They were extremely professional and know what they are doing. I would recommend them any time. I had multiple teeth removed and ended up with a partial and a bottom denture. Adjustments were on site and only took minutes. read more
