Today was my first time visiting this salon, and it definitely won't be my last! I had an appointment with Donna, and from the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed and happy. Donna immediately understood exactly what I wanted and got to work. I desperately needed to cover up my grays and get a trim (it had been almost four months since my last salon visit!), and she did an amazing job. I absolutely LOVE my hair! She is also very fast! My previous salon visits at other places felt so long and exhausting. Not here! The salon also has such a nice touch--they offered me water, coffee, and snacks, which was a lifesaver since I had left the house without my morning coffee. First time to this salon. Thought I was in the wrong area, passed by it at first and then almost missed it the second time. It's a cute, cozy and nicely A/C salon. Not too cold. The area where your has is washed is much cooler but not extremely cold. Appointments are made with the individual hair stylists. Walk ins maybe squeezed in but no guarantees since it depends on what appointments they already have scheduled. Recommend calling ahead to check, you might have to wait to get a response since they might be with clients. I followed my hair stylist, Kimmy. A change from red highlights that I usually do. I met with Donna who was very patient and knowledgeable in explaining my options. She was open and honest but most of all realistic with these options. Absolutely enjoyed my experience in this fab salon! I came with a friend who had an appointment and Injust went for curiosity. The positive cibe upon entering prompted me to ask if any stylist had time for a root touch up. And Yes, I got lucky! It was pretty quick in an hour. I was also offered water or coffee. During my touch up, we talked about my hair texture and this curl product that she she would put on afterwards for me to try. That really is the best product for textured hair to keep the curl. I just have to say that, if anyone is planning on going lighter (blonde) Donna is you're go to! She did my hair in one session and it turned out amazing!!! My hair was virgin and untouched, but if you have previous work on your hair, just know the process is different and she will explain that to you for the best results as well as the healthiest process for your hair. I did a second session 9 months later cause the color lasted so long with zero brass. My 2nd session was much lighter which I wanted and was still beyond healthy! Sadly Color Box got a new owner who did not run the business well so this lovely salon took on almost all of the extremely talented Color Box stylists. My favorite is here, Taylor Graves. O Salon is a cute salon hidden in Kapolei where they tailor their time to just a few clients at a time. My favorite is the nice scalp massage when they're washing my hair. I don't like spending $250 in town for color, I'm a rather simpleton when it comes to maintaining my hair. Donna still freshens up my look whenever I can fit in a hair appointment. Parking is a little tight but I usually find a spot a block or two down the street. It has been quieter on weekend mornings when the neighborhood is still a little sleepy. read more

This is a cute little spa in Ewa Beach near Ocean Point. Located in the same lot as KFC. It's a little unusual to me, to have this type of business located here. Yet, I guess it is nice for the Ewa Beach locals to have a spa close to home. I've only been here once making use of a facial certificate gifted by an Aunt. This had been my first time having a facial done so I had no idea what to expect. I guess from watching different facial treatments being done on TV I expected the worst. Red, raw skin as if a chemical peel had been done. Or loads of junk being extracted from pores throughout the face. I know, extreme lol. Neither was in store for me thank goodness! I honestly don't take care of my skin well. Fortunately in my case, I have minimal problems. In the session, the esthetician addressed black head extractions around my nose and chin which was the worst of it. It basically felt like pinching and squeezing. Before the extractions she had steam rolling around my face to open up the pores. After the extractions she worked on facial massages and moisturizing. The full session lasts about an hour. The parking lot is a bit tight and with having the amount of businesses in the building, finding parking at times might be a challenge. Even though I had a good experience here, I really wouldn't have a need to go back. I myself am in the beauty industry and have the knowledge to perform facials or have friends to do that for me. But I've got decent skin and have no need to mess with it. As for the West siders, I'd say it's legit and no need to travel for spa services! read more

My hair before was dry, flat, and was this weird black/grey with the bottom saturated in the old green I'd done before. Even though I had used a semi permanent, the green just clung on for dear life! As much as I had enjoyed the color, I was over it and wanted something chic and professional. Not to mention it had turned into such an unflattering color, and kept getting worst after every shower. I did a lot of research, and realistically prepared myself for damage, a cut, and forking over a lot of money. My expectations were pretty low, and I just prepared myself for the worst case scenario.
