This salon has come so far since being bought and managed by the owner, Nicole. They are so thorough. They take their time. They do not rush. They listen to what you want. They talk to you! On New Years Eve morning I my nails done by someone else in town on New Years Eve morning. I had never been there before but I wanted the an appt first thing the morning appt. and they had one open. The guy and I discussed what I wanted. It took so so long . The nails were not what I asked for. They were too long, not the shape I asked for. The guy left dried dip powder in my cuticles, he did not even smooth the dried product on underside of the nails he glued on before the powder. He did not even put oil on the cuticles afterwards. I thought if I asked him to change / fix them like I asked for I would be there another 1 hour and a half & he would probably be annoyed he had to fix them and take longer. So I just paid him and got the heck out of there. As soon I left I went to Julie's spa nails with no appt on New Years Eve. They were very nice and understood my dilemna. They worked me in. Nicole was my technician. I did not even have to tell her everything wrong. I just her they were too long and I was really disappointed with them. She noticed all the imperfections. She cleaned the dip powder off the cuticles, smoothed the under side of the nails. She told me the shape was all wrong for my hands ( I thought so too ) The nails and my hands looked beautiful after she was finished. She was quick, understood what I wanted and was so kind. She did not charge me nearly enough for the great job she did. I gave her more than twice what she asked for. I highly recommend Nicole and the entire staff. They were all really nice and understanding. I will be going back to this place from now on. read more

I really wanted to go and be able to offer high rating. I really had no issues with my pedicure. Wasn't the best, wasn't the worst. I found that reasonably priced which made it feel like I got what I paid for. Unfortunately my manicure is where I had a bad experience. The lady who did mine had to go through another employee as a translator, and unfortunately a lot was lost in translation. While I don't expect it to look exactly like the idea photo I presented, the manicure itself was uncomfortable. Nothing relaxing about it, I barely received a massage, my nail beds and cuticles still look unkempt, and the manicurist left blood on my nail under some of the polish, I'm still uncomfortable where she nicked me. I don't want to be unkind because they were all polite, but I'll leave you with one question. Would you pay $65 for this? read more

I went to Julie's yesterday and had a very positive experience.The establishment was clean and quiet. I have never cared for the massage chairs at the spas, but these massage chairs have an adjustment that worked so perfectly for my back it was so relaxing I didn't want to turn it off. Seriously!! Kids running around playing in the pedicure bowls. Toys all over the floor. Don't come here if you want to relax. Called them about 5:30pm Tuesday asked what time they open tomorrow. She asked what i needed done told her nails filled. She said open at 9:30am I told her i could be there then, but she said to come at 10:00am and she could do it. Got there at 9:50am and the guy asked what i needed and i told him i was there to get my nails done at 10. Not sanitary ! I was knicked/cut 4 times on my fingers at this place. If you are looking to relax this isn't the place . Their kid is running around and slamming toys everywhere. In town for a wedding and stopped by to get my nails done. We would have been much better off just painting them ourselves. The place was busy so we asked about how long it would be. The 30 minutes they told us ended up being closer to an hour and a half. When I finally did get into the pedicure chair the water was freezing and they left us in there for close to 30 minutes before coming to actually do our pedicure. Then halfway into my pedicure, one of the guys came and told the woman doing my feet to stop and go get the child that was running around the salon some food! So she stopped and left me in the chair, and this guy came back about 10 minutes later to quickly finish my toes. I then sat in the pedicure chair for another 30 minutes while my friend got her finger nails done. They finally moved me over for my fingernails but then I say again waiting for another 20-30 minutes before we finally said something and someone came over to finish up my manicure. There was a dead roach on the floor under the manicure table and one of the owner's children was running around eating mcdonalds inside the salon. Worst experience I've EVER had! read more

I wish I hadn't read that review as it sent me to another nail salon that was absolutely horrible. The owner practically threw the nail selector at me an said pick your color I don't have time to pick it for you. I should have walked out then. I decided to go to Julies nails and so happy I did... Ben was the tech so professional and really took his time, the set of nails looked so natural and healthy never have I gotten compliments until now. I would recommend this place to everyone. If you want fantastic looking nails please try the S&S nails they are the only salon in this area that I know who provide the technique. I would ignore the 1st review and try them for yourself. We made a reservation Julie's nail for 12:00 for 5 people. We got there and it was small and only 3 people were working. Also 4 people were already there getting there nails done. They took 1 of us at 12:00 for a pedicure and she waited about 30 minutes with her feet in the water. Then they finally started it was a fine pedicure overall. They took each person one at a time and the first person was done drying just as the third person started, so we were all done at different times. The nails came out fine, but the one of the workers did not do as good as the others and he was very hard on he nails,but all the workers were nice. After about a day the girl who got the pedicure, her toes was infected and had to get them look at by a doctor. I will not suggest this place to anyone. read more

I have been to this salon 6 times (to set up appointments-altho they take walk-ins). but only 2 actual visits for nails. Went in yesterday (Sat) but the wait was a bit long so I made an appointment for today (Sun) at 11am. I discussed with the gentleman that they're closed on Sunday (the sign on the door says so). He assured me they are open. When I turned to leave "he" and Julie conversed and she asked if I could come in at 9am. Again I asked them "are u sure? I thot u are closed on Sundays. They both insisted they were open and we agreed on 9am. I watched him change my 11a to 9a in their lil appointment book.. I arrived about 853am....no cars in the parking lot (Cuz all the businesses were closed!) so ate my McDonalds breakfast. At 9am I walked to the door in case "they" had parked in the back. No body there. I sat in my car til 930 and walked back to the door to leave them a note...."thanks for nothing"...Not good customer service...BUT Lesson learned. U lost this customer. read more

I have had great experiences here. I've been three times now for acrylic tips, gel manicures, and a pedicure. Since they've opened, they've hired more workers, and the process happens much quicker than it used to. My nails and toes look great, I'm pleased with the quality of work! read more

WORST experience ever! Took way too long, water in foot bowl got cold waiting for service. Said they could see all 3 of us right now, but just didn't want to turn away the money, because they didn't get to us quickly! Owners child brought in fries and turned up television so loud you couldn't hear anything else. After being told numerous times that the nails should be clear and shown pictures, the owners wife continued to put dark pink on and it looks like a kindergartener did the nails. Hygiene is an issue too! No gloves, owners kid has a bloody nose, goes to check him and never washes his hands before going back to customers. Don't waste your money here!!! read more
