After a friend having a great experience here, I was exited to have the same luck. My friend needed a Non Driver Insurance Policy to start driving for Uber since he did not own his own vehicle. After going to a few insurance offices and getting rejected, He tried this last one and was lucky enough to have this very helpful Agent by the name of Julio A Tegada. I called a few places my self trying to get the same insurance he has and was unable to get the answers i needed and process to go threw. I was running out of options and called my friend Arnesto and ask him if he can direct me to his agent. He quickly said yes and drove me to his location not to far from my area and i met Julio told him my situation and in under 30 minutes my problem was solved. Really happy to have this guy as my State Farm Agent. looking foward to recommending more people that have had the same issue or even looking to switch to a better high quality ensure place. The place is right in front of Mc Donald's. Cant miss it. Plus the front glass is see threw, with a big state far promotion sign outside. I'm a relatively new driver and when I shopped around for car insurance in January just about everyone quoted upwards of $300 a month including State Farm, Geico and Allstate. I went with a company called CoutryWide charging me $186 a month. So its a long story but come end of July I was out of a car and no longer needed insurance so I canceled my policy. Impulsively I bought a car this weekend and now needed insurance. So I called up CountryWide (now owned by Bank of America) and it turns out I wasn't allowed to reinstate my policy because they are no longer underwriting policies in NY!?!? Instead Bank of America offered me insurance through Travelers costing $333 a month : ( I was terribly disappointed and called Geico for a quote. Geico quoted me a policy for $229. Then I called Progressive and was quoted $208 a month and I was surprised the quote dropped so low compared to my quote from about 8 months ago. I seriously considered Progressive but told them that I wanted to speak with one more company before making my decision. This was when I went to Julio Tejada's office. I was warmly greeting by the two female staffers and the gentleman in the glass office (possibly Julio) came out to give me a "hello" and a firm handshake. I always worry about shopping in my neighborhood because so many people have issues with English and sadly my Spanish is awful. Happily this wasn't a problem. The process was quick and painless and I left with a policy for only $96 a month!!! : D Obviously I only purchased NY's minimum coverage requirements but I am so glad that decided to stop in. I hope this review helps someone and if you decide to go there mention my name and they'll take $10 off my policy. Man listen, my mother has wanted to get a savings account and life insurance for as long as I can remember! I'm one to not go for people's mumbo jumbo and sales pitch.I know how to read people and tell if they are just giving fluff, therefore, I decided to go with my mother.
