Fantastic small business run by local mother & son. Both are extemely helpful and professional - they offer Tax Prep in both Spanish and English. I was blown away at how fast they answer emails/questions. I forwarded all my tax information from school, my employers, loans, etc and they keep everything very organized. Would highly recommend to a) Support local businesses doing great things in the area and b) Get your taxes done in a reasonably priced, professional and expedient manner. read more

Help me with my notarized documents very polite charged small amount of money Thank you for your help

This business lacks professionalism. I first called the business to confirm their business hours and cost for service. I visited this location for an I-9 verification and to notarize a document. The first employee assumed I arrived at the business unprepared and proceeded to school me on completing the document when the documentation was thoroughly prepared. She proceeded to take a phone call of a customer who was lost and needed directions to the location. She rudely identified the business and placed the phone nonchalantly on the desk, as if she was bothered by the customer's questions. She did not excuse herself. I proceeded to provide the papers and documentation to Julia, who at first seemed pleasant, and then stood up and raised her voice when I inquired about the price of the service (which was different than what I confirmed earlier in the day). She proceeded to school me on how other businesses price their services at a higher rate when I asked the breakdown of the service she provided. I assured her that I would pay the price, but not without double-checking that her work was done correctly. In the meantime, she continued to argue with me on a moot point while I reviewed the paperwork for accuracy. I paid for the service and asked for a receipt. She provides a receipt, but not without schooling me again on the way she conducts business, as if anyone asked for her unsolicited advice. In the future, I will take my business elsewhere and hope this review prevents someone else from experiencing an unnecessary spectacle. read more

This was one of those experiences that makes you appreciate small family businesses even more. Incredibly responsive and organized, they helped me with a major problem, making a house call to my elderly mom who lives a long distance from me and needed assistance with an affidavit. I could not possibly have asked for better, more attentive service and follow up which not only helped my mom out tremendously, but gave me peace of mind as well. the worst experience i have encountered in a very long time! i called earlier this morning to confirm they have a notary. she said yes, for me to get there no later than 6:30pm. fine no problem. my boyfriend and i get there at 6:25pm and hes waiting at the door for 2min before she buzzes him in. he's inside for 5min with her on the phone and doesn't even acknowledge him, not even the slightest gesture. he walks out. after telling me what happened i then go inside. she had just hungup the phone. i asked her is she going to help a customer and i explain my boyfriend is the gentleman who was waiting. she first tells me she was on the phone with the boss. i said the correct thing to do is to acknowledge a customer which im sure he would appreciate. then she says she was on the phone with a customer who was upset over another issue. at this point im pissed and tell her their issue doesnt concern us! she told me to be there by 6:30 but then she doesnt want to do ber job?? i tell her she needs to help a paying customer who is in the store. she then tells me that "mami im not going to rush for $5" (i told her we needed something notarized). so basically if we were spending more money she would treat us with respect??? disgusting! so she ignored my boyfriend why? because he's black?? because when he was in the store no words were exchanged. horrible business and even more disgusting that they are treating hard working honest working people this way. she tells me we can take our business elsewhere since she isnt going to rush. shes going to make another call back to the upset customer who was on the phone before helping us. she is a nasty person and i will reporting her and her trashy office to the better business bureau!! and stop calling people "mami" !! with an attitude like this i hope they go out of business!! read more

Wonderful service! I've been going to my previous tax person for about 5 years, then a friend recommended me to Maduro and son. Not only did they take the time to personalize my interaction, but they made sure to ask me about every aspect of my finances to get me the best refund possible!
